4. ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
A. Terminal connections (Figure 5)
- Insert the controller connection cable terminals correctly.
- Insert the light kit terminals into the receiver terminals.
- Insert the motor terminals into the receiver terminals.
- Insert the mounting bracket terminals.
NOTE: Once the earth cables are connected, carefully insert all cables and connectors into the metal box. Ensure that the cables do not interfere with the hemisphere or the downrod when placed in the mounting bracket.
B. Placing cables and receiver (Figure 6)
● Push all connected cables inside the ceiling box.
● Place the receiver in the mounting bracket as shown in the diagram.
- When installing the canopy/ceiling trim, ensure that it does not compress the aerial.
● Ensure that all earth cables are connected.
Pairing instructions (learning code) - Remote control
- If the ceiling fan does not respond to the transmitter, press and hold the power button for 3–5 seconds to pair the remote control within 15 seconds of switching it on. When pairing is successful, the buzzer will emit three short beeps.
- If the transmitter cannot control the receiver, check that the batteries make good contact, the polarity (positive/negative) and the charge level (high or low).
- If the transmitter cannot control the receiver, check whether there is another similar transmitter nearby controlling other products, sharing the same frequency may cause interference.
- Remove the batteries from the transmitter if it is not to be used for an extended period.
- When installing the fan, the ceiling trim must not compress the aerial (or other cable), as this could damage the cable and cause a short circuit.
- Remove the battery compartment cover from the transmitter.
● Install two 1.5 V AAA batteries in the transmitter. - Replace the battery compartment cover on the transmitter.
5. ASSEMBLING THE CANOPY (Figure 7)
- Position the mounting bracket on the canopy, aligning the slots with two screws

5. Cleaning and maintenance
- The natural movements of the fan can loosen some connections. A clicking or rattling noise is a clear sign of loose screws. Check the supplied connections, brackets and blade fixings twice a year and tighten screws as necessary. Ensure that the screws holding the glass to the light kit bracket are hand-tight. Do not use a screwdriver or pliers to tighten the glass screws.
- Clean the fan periodically. Use only a cloth moistened with a mild detergent solution. Never use solvents. Remove dust with a soft cloth or brush. Metal finishes have a lacquer coating to prevent tarnishing.
- The fan does not require lubrication. Its permanently sealed bearings will provide silent, trouble-free operation for many years.
- Ensure that the power supply is disconnected at the main fuse or consumer unit before attempting any repairs.
6. Troubleshooting
If you have difficulty operating your new ceiling fan, it may be due to incorrect assembly, installation or wiring. In some cases, these errors may be mistaken for defects. If you experience any faults, please review this troubleshooting guide.
| Problem | Recommended solution |
| 1. The fan does not work. | 1. Check the fuses or circuit breakers on the main circuit and branch circuit.2. Check the line cable connections to the fan and the switch cable connections in the switch housing.CAUTION: Ensure that the main power supply is disconnected.3. Ensure that the forward/reverse switch is firmly in the up or down position. The fan will not operate if the switch is in the intermediate position.4. Ensure that the wall controller is in the "ON" position. |
| 2. The fan makes noise. | 1. Ensure that all motor housing screws are tightened securely (without over-tightening).2. Ensure that the screws fixing the fan blade bracket to the motor are tight.3. Ensure that the splice connectors (caps) in the switch housing are not rattling against each other or against the inside wall of the switch housing.CAUTION: Ensure that the main power supply is disconnected before accessing the switch housing.4. If using an optional ceiling fan light kit, check that the screws holding the glass are hand-tight. Ensure thatthe bulb is screwed securely into the socket and does not touch the lampshade. If glass vibration persists, remove the glass and install a 1/4" wide rubber band around the glass neck as insulation. Replace the glass and tighten the screws against the rubber band.5. Some fan motors are sensitive to signals from solid-state variable speed controls. DO NOT USE a solid-state variable speed control.6. Allow a 24-hour "running-in" period. Most noises associated with a new fan will disappear after this period. |
| 3. The fan wobbles. | All blades are weighted and grouped by weight. Natural woods vary in density, which may cause the fan to wobble even if all the blades are matched by weight. The following procedures should eliminate most wobbling. Check for wobbling after each step.1. Check that all blades are firmly screwed to the blade brackets.2. Check that all blade brackets are tightened securely to the motor.3. Ensure that the canopy and mounting bracket are firmly fixed to the ceiling junction box, and that the box is firmly mounted to the ceiling beam.4. Most wobbling problems are caused by the blades not being at the same level. Check the level by selecting a point on the ceiling above the tip of one of the blades. Keep the measurement within 1/8" and rotate the fan until the next blade is in the measurement position. Repeat for each blade. If the blade levels are not the same, you can adjust them as follows:a. To lower a blade tip, insert a washer (not included) between the blade and blade bracket at the screw.b. To raise a blade tip, insert a washer (not included) between the blade and blade bracket at the two screws furthest from the motor.5. If wobbling is still noticeable, swapping two adjacent blades (side by side) may redistribute the weight and provide smoother operation. |
| 4. The light does not work. | 1. Check the blue cable from the fan and ensure it is connected to the phase cable of the installation.2. Check for loose or disconnected cables in the fan switch housing.3. Check for loose or disconnected cables in the light kit.4. Check whether the bulbs are defective.CAUTION: Ensure that the main power supply is disconnected before accessing the switch housing. |
