  • Cleaning and maintenance must be carried out according to this instruction manual to make sure it operates properly. Turn off and unplug the fan before cleaning it.
  • Make sure the fan is not placed close to curtains or other objects it may become entangled with.
    • Install the fan only in the ceiling.
  • Keep a minimum distance of 2.3 cm between the fan blades and the floor. If you hang the fan on a hook, the latter must withstand at least 100 kg.
  • Switch off the power before connecting or repairing the fan.
  • The electrical wiring must be in accordance with local regulations.
  • Never install the fan in a damp or wet room.

  • Be careful when near the rotating fan blades.

  • The appliance shall be installed in accordance with national wiring regulations.
  • In order to ensure your children's safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene, etc.) out of their reach.

- This fan is designed for indoor use. Do not use the appliance for industrial or commercial purposes.

- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.   • Both batteries and cells can leak under extreme conditions. In the event of a battery leak, keep your skin and eyes away from the liquid. 2. Before use

  • This appliance comes in a packaging designed to protect it during transport. Remove the appliance from its box. You can keep the original box and other packaging materials in a safe place to prevent damage to the appliance if you need to transport it in the future. If you wish to dispose of the original packaging, make sure all items are recycled properly.
  • Check that all parts and components are included and in good condition. If any of them are missing or damaged, please contact Cecotec's Official Technical Support Service immediately.

3. Installation

Tools required for installation (not included)

  1. Installing the ceiling fan mounting bracket (Fig. 2) Drill two holes to an appropriate depth and insert two expansion bolts into the holes; then secure the mounting bracket to the expansion bolts using the screws and tighten with the expansion bolt nuts.
  2. Changing the downrod (Fig. 3) Unscrew the upper part of the downrod and remove the lower pin as shown in the figure. Once disassembled, install the components onto the new downrod in reverse order to the dismantling process.
  3. Assembling and installing the ceiling fan (Fig. 4)

  4. Insert the lower canopy, upper canopy and cover plate onto the downrod, threading all cables through the downrod. To fit the canopies onto the downrod, you must first remove the upper hemisphere from the downrod and the pin from the lower section.

  5. Hold the upper and lower canopies upwards to insert the pin and reposition the clip in place (initially installed on the desired downrod).
  6. Tighten the screws.
  7. Slide the lower canopy downwards.
  8. Hanging the ceiling fan: Carefully lift and hang the ceiling fan onto the mounting bracket. The hemisphere of the downrod has a small guide that must align with the small projection on the ceiling fan mounting bracket.
  9. Slide the remote control receiver between the mounting bracket and the upper part of the downrod.
  10. a). Join the bare metal ends of the wires together and place a wire connector (terminal block/wire nut) over them. Turn the connector clockwise until it is secure. Pull gently to ensure none of the wires come loose. b). Connect the wires to the connection terminal, matching the colours.
  11. Insert the screws and secure lightly; position the upper canopy in place as shown and turn anticlockwise.
  12. Tighten the screws.
  13. Lift the upper canopy cover plate to conceal the screws and secure it in place.
  14. Install the light cover (light shade) by aligning the notches on the cover with the tabs on the light ring and turning the cover.

Winter/summer mode

Reverses the direction of the blades as required. Summer mode pushes air downwards, while winter mode operates in the opposite direction.

Breeze mode

Automatically changes the fan speed settings, creating the sensation of a natural breeze.

Pairing

Press and hold the button for more than 5 seconds to pair the remote control with the ceiling fan. The system will configure correctly after hearing a long beep, indicating that pairing has been successful and the appliance can operate normally.

Note: pairing mode is not supported after 30 seconds from when the power supply is connected.

Timer

A timer can be set for 2 hours or 4 hours.

5. Cleaning and maintenance

Disconnect the ceiling fan from the mains supply and allow it to cool down before cleaning.

● Never immerse the ceiling fan in water or other liquids.
● Clean the ceiling fan with a soft, dry cloth.
- Do not use chemical cleaning products such as detergents or abrasive cleaners.
- Do not allow condensation to come into contact with the electrical parts of the ceiling fan.

  • Do not use a damp cloth to clean the motor. Keep the ceiling fan clean and dry.
  • It is recommended to use a neutral detergent and soft cloth. Do not use solvent liquids, acidic detergents, petrol, alcohol, etc. to clean plastic parts, as they may cause deterioration.
  • Do not allow water to enter the motor unit or cable during cleaning of the ceiling fan.

6. Troubleshooting

The ceiling fan does not work

  1. Check that the ceiling fan wire connections are correct.
  2. Ensure that the input power is adequate.

The ceiling fan is very noisy

  1. Check that all assembled screws are tightened.
  2. Ensure that the wire nut connections do not rub against each other or against the interior wall of the switch housing.
  3. Ensure that the ceiling fan is not wobbling. If it is, use the balancing weight kit to level it.
