The BEKO RDSA240K20WN features an automatic defrost system that generates condensation. This water should drain through the drain hole located at the back or bottom of the appliance. If water is leaking from your fridge, it is usually due to one of these two reasons:
1. Clogged drain hole (most common cause)
The drainage pipe may be blocked by debris or limescale. Clean the drain hole with a pipe cleaner or a small rigid tube to clear the passage. The defrost water should be able to flow freely.
2. Poorly positioned fridge
Your RDSA240K20WN must be perfectly horizontal. If the fridge is tilted, the water will not drain properly to the outlet. Check that all four feet of the appliance are adjusted to the same level (use a level if possible).
Additional tip: Also check that the fridge is not installed in an environment that is too cold (below 10°C) - this can disrupt the defrost system.
