How to schedule cleaning on the Conga X80 Pro?

Use the remote control or mobile app to set a scheduled cleaning time. Make sure the robot is in standby and connected.

What to do if the robot does not charge?

Check that the charging contacts are clean and the robot is correctly positioned on the base. If the problem persists, the battery may be defective.

How to clean the HEPA filter?

Remove the bin, take out the filter and tap it gently to remove dust. Wash it with warm water and let it dry completely before reinstalling.

The robot vacuum does not detect carpets, what to do?

Check that the sensors are clean. Carpet mode must be activated in the settings. If the problem persists, contact technical support.

What is the actual battery life of the Conga X80 Pro?

In normal use, the battery life is approximately 90 to 120 minutes depending on the mode and surface. On thick carpet, it may be reduced.

How to change the side brushes?

Lift the robot, remove the worn brushes by turning them, then insert the new ones by snapping them in. Use compatible models.

The robot makes an abnormal noise, what to do?

Stop the robot and check that no object is stuck in the brushes or wheel. Clean the brushes and bin.

Can I use the robot on carpet?

Yes, the Conga X80 Pro is designed for hard floors and short-pile carpets. On thick carpet, suction may be less effective.

How to reset the robot to factory settings?

Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds until the indicator flashes. Release, the robot restarts in factory mode.

The robot does not return to the charging dock, why?

Check that the dock is properly plugged in and the path is clear. Clean the infrared sensors on the robot and the dock.

• Ensure that the mains voltage matches the voltage stated on the product's rating label and that the socket is properly earthed.

• Always place the appliance on a flat and stable surface. Avoid placing it on unstable surfaces it could fall from (such as tables or chairs).
• Before switching on the robot vacuum cleaner, check that all connections, both on the robot and on the self-emptying base, are in good condition.
• Avoid operating the robot vacuum cleaner under extremely high or low temperatures.
• The appliance must only be used with the battery supplied with the appliance or with compatible charging units approved by Cecotec.
• Non-rechargeable batteries must not be recharged.
• Make sure the appliance is not plugged to a mains socket before cleaning it or carrying out maintenance on it.
• Make sure the self-emptying base is not connected to a power outlet before cleaning.

Battery instructions

• The appliance includes a Li-ion battery. Do not incinerate or expose it to high temperatures, as it may explode.
• Batteries may leak under extreme conditions. Should that be the case, do not touch the liquid. If the liquid comes into contact with skin, wash immediately with soap and water. If the liquid gets into the eyes, rinse them immediately with

clean water for at least 10 minutes and seek medical attention. Wear gloves when handling the battery and dispose of it immediately in accordance with local regulations.

• Avoid contact between batteries and small metal objects such as paper clips, coins, keys, nails, or screws.
• Never modify the battery in any way.
• Batteries must be removed from the appliance for safe disposal.
• Keep batteries out of the reach of children if they can be swallowed.
• Battery ingestion can cause burns, perforation of soft tissue, and death. It can cause severe burns within two hours of the ingestion.
• In case of battery ingestion, please seek medical help immediately.
• WARNING: to recharge the battery, use only the self-emptying base supplied with the appliance.
• The batteries' supply terminals must not be short-circuited.
• If the appliance is to be stored for a long period of time, it is advisable to remove the batteries.
• Batteries must be inserted in the correct position. Pay attention to polarity when inserting it.

2. BEFORE USE

• This appliance comes in a packaging designed to protect it during transport. Remove the appliance from its box. You can keep the original box and other packaging materials in a safe place to prevent damage to the appliance if you need to transport it in the future. If you wish to dispose of the original packaging, make sure all items are recycled properly.
• Check that all parts and components are included and in good condition. If any of them are missing or damaged, please contact Cecotec's Official Technical Support Service immediately.

3. INSTALLATION

Installing the self-emptying base

• Leave a space of at least 0.6 m to the left and right and 1.5 m in depth. Fig. 3
• Make sure the location has good Wi-Fi access to enhance the mobile app experience. Connect the base and verify that the status indicator light is on.

Note:

• Place the base against a wall on a hard, level surface (wood, tile, etc.).
• Pick up any cables, hard or sharp objects (such as nails and glass) and loose items from the floor, and move any unstable, fragile, valuable or hazardous items that could block or slow down the robot vacuum cleaner's operation.

When using the robot in elevated area, always use a physical safety barrier to prevent accidental falls that could result in personal injury or property damage.

Installing the clean water tank

• Lift the clean water tank, open the top cover, and fill it with tap water.
• Once full, close the lid and replace the clean water tank on the base.

Detergent usage

Step 1: Remove the dirty water tank and clean water tank.
Step 2: Turn the tank lid to open it and add detergent.
Step 3: Replace the clean and dirty water tanks.

Note

To ensure all functions operate correctly and achieve the best cleaning results:

• Fully charge the robot before first use.
• Fill the clean water tank with water before the first operation.

Installing the mop pad

1. Attach the mop pad to the mop holder in the correct position and firmly.
2. Align and install the mop holder on the robot until you hear a "click".

4. OPERATION

Switching on/off

- Press and hold the power button to switch the robot on or off. The power indicator light will illuminate when the robot is switched on.

Note:

To ensure proper operation and achieve the best cleaning result:

• Fully charge the robot before first use.
• Fill the mixed tank with water before the first operation, as indicated above.

Pause

- When the robot is running, press any button to pause it. Press the power button to resume cleaning. Press the Back Home button to send it back to the self-emptying base.

Note:

- Placing the paused robot manually on the self-emptying base will end the cleaning cycle in progress.

Charging

• After cleaning, the robot vacuum cleaner will automatically return to the self-emptying base to recharge.
• In Pause mode, press the Back Home button to send the robot back to the base.

Starting operation

• Press the power button to start cleaning. The robot will plan the route based on its recognition of the layout, divide the room into zones, first delimit the edges of each zone, and then fill them in with a zigzag pattern.
• In this way, the robot cleans all areas one by one, efficiently cleaning the home. Ensure that the mopping cloths are correctly installed.

Notes:

• For the robot to clean and automatically return to the self-emptying base, start it from the self-emptying base. Do not move the self-emptying base during cleaning.
• Cleaning cannot begin if the battery level is too low. Allow the robot to charge before starting.
• Before cleaning, pick up cables (including the base power cord) and valuable objects from the floor. The robot may drag them along and cause electrical appliances to disconnect or damage cables and property.
• If the battery runs low during cleaning, the robot will automatically return to the base. After recharging, it will resume cleaning where it left off.
• Before each cleaning task, ensure the mop pad is correctly installed on the mop holder.

Standby mode

• If no operation is performed for 10 minutes, the robot will automatically enter sleep mode, and the power indicator light will turn off.
• In standby mode, press any button on the robot to reactivate it.
• If no operation is performed for hours, the robot will automatically switch off.

Do Not Disturb mode

• It can be modified or cancelled from the app.
• When this mode is activated, the robot does not automatically resume cleaning and does not self-empty into the self-emptying base after finishing cleaning; furthermore, the power indicator and voice prompts remain disabled.

5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Side brush. Fig. 5

1. Pull the side brush upwards to remove it.
2. Remove debris from the side brush.
3. Reinstall the side brush by pressing down until you hear a "click".

Main brush. Fig. 6

1. Press in the latches on the main brush cover and release the main brush cover latch to remove the cover.
2. Remove the main brush and remove any hair and dirt accumulated on the brush and its ends.
3. Replace the main brush and close the cover until you hear a "click", securing the main brush cover latch (14).

Dust container and filter. Fig. 7

1. Press the dust container release button and remove the mixed tank.
2. Open the mixed tank and empty its contents into a rubbish bin.
3. Use the self-cleaning brush to clean the interior of the mixed tank.
4. Open the filter cover, remove the filter and tap it gently to remove any dust. Then reinstall the filter and close the filter cover.
5. Reinstall the mixed tank on the robot until the dust container release button is locked.

Note:

Do not touch the surface of the filter with your hands, brushes or hard objects to avoid damage.

Sensors

Clean all sensors with a soft, dry cloth: Laser, object recognition sensor, wall sensor and anti-collision sensors.

Note: the laser is a sensitive sensor. Do not use force, insert objects, or attempt to adjust it. Do not sit on or place objects on the robot's top cover.

Omnidirectional wheel. Fig. 8

1. Using a flat-head screwdriver as a lever, firmly grasp the omnidirectional wheel and pull it outwards.
2. Clean the omnidirectional wheel and all its components, including the wheel assembly and housing.
3. Press the omnidirectional wheel down to lock it in place.

Replacing the disposable dust bag

To change the dust collection bag, open the base cover, pull the handle, remove the bag and discard it.

Mopping assembly maintenance

1. Remove the mop holder with the mop pad from the robot.
2. Open the mixed tank lid and empty the mixed tank through the same opening as the water inlet.
3. Gently shake to remove any residue accumulated on the mop holder.
4. Wash the mop pad with clean water. Allow all parts to air dry before reinstalling.

Note

- Empty the mixed tank after each use to avoid possible water damage.

Charging and battery replacement. Fig. 9

1. Using a Phillips screwdriver, open the battery compartment.
2. Disconnect the old battery, connect the new one and screw the compartment cover back on.

Note

• To extend battery life, leave the robot vacuum cleaner charging on the self-emptying base whenever not in use.
• If the robot is not to be used for an extended period of time, remove the battery and store it in a safe, dry place.
• Do not use this product's rechargeable battery in other devices.

1. TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem	Solution
The robot does not switch on.	Low battery. Place the robot on the self-emptying base and charge it before use.
	The battery temperature is too high or too low. Use the robot only within 0-40°C range.
Unable to charge battery.	The self-emptying base is not connected to the mains. Check that both ends of the power cord are properly connected.
	Poor contact. Clean the charging connectors on the robot and the charging contacts on the self-emptying base.
	Confirm that the status indicator on the self-emptying base is illuminated.
The robot cannot be docked.	There are too many obstacles near the self-emptying base. Move it to an open area.
	The robot is too far away from the self-emptying base. Bring it closer and try again.
	The base locating element may be dirty. Clean it with a dry cloth.
Unable to connect to Wi-Fi.	Wi-Fi disabled. Reset the Wi-Fi and try again.
	Weak Wi-Fi signal. Move the robot to an area with good coverage.
	Abnormal Wi-Fi connection. Reset the Wi-Fi, download the latest version of the mobile app and try again.
	The Wi-Fi connection is unstable. Reset the router, check if there are any app updates and try again.
Noise during cleaning.	The main brush, side brush, drive wheels or omnidirectional wheel may be blocked. Switch off the robot with the power button and clean these components.
Cleaning does not resume after recharging.	Check that the robot is not in Do Not Disturb mode.
	The “Skip carpets” option is enabled in the app. Check the settings in the app.
The programmes are not effective.	Check that the robot is not in Do Not Disturb mode.
	Programmes only run when the battery level is above 20%.
The robot does not perform self-emptying.	The self-emptying function is deactivated. Check it in the app.
	The disposable dust bag is not properly installed in the self-emptying base. Check and install correctly.
	Self-emptying is not activated if the robot returns to the self-emptying base without having performed a cleaning cycle.
The robot does not perform self-emptying.	With the Do Not Disturb mode activated, the robot does not self-empty when returning to the self-emptying base. Set the cleaning or Do Not Disturb mode duration, or start the emptying manually from the app.
Self-emptying with reduced performance or unusual noises.	The main brush or its cover is not properly installed. Check the installation and secure the main brush cover latch.
	The filter, self-emptying base air duct, suction inlet, base air inlet, mixed tank or disposable dust bag are clogged. Clean to remove blockages.
Mopping is not effective.	Check the water flow rate setting in the app.
	Check that the mixed tank has been refilled as required by opening the mixed tank filling cap and using the water inlet.
