USER MANUAL 8046E BABYLISS

The BaByliss Foot Spa relieves stress and tension by bringing relief to tired, aching feet with a combination of massage, heat and bubbles.

FEATURES

• 4 position switch with 3 settings:

• vibration
  -heat and bubble

• Ergonomic base designed to comfortably fit the shape of your foot, with a central bubble release strip

• 2 interchangeable pedicure attachments
• Translucent cover to protect water from splashing when the footbath is in use. Removable for easy cleaning.
• Easy grip lip on edge of foot bath for safe, firm grip when emptying / filling the foot bath.
• The base of the foot bath is equipped with a system which slows the cooling of the water temperature. Please note that this is not designed to heat the water from cold.
  Maximum water capacity: 3.5 litres when filled to the water fill level.
• 6 feet (1,8 m) cord

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE.

1. Ensure the unit is in «off» position.
2. Place your foot bath on the floor, fill it with warm water and plug in. Never plug or unplug the appliance while your feet

are in water.

1. Sit down on a chair and place your feet in the foot bath. Never stand in your foot bath.
2. Select the desired combination settings of bubbles, vibration and heat. Please note: The heat setting is designed to help maintain the temperature of warm water, not to heat water.
3. After use, turn to "off" position. Take your feet out of the unit and unplug before emptying water out of the rear of the unit.
4. Rinse the appliance with water or a mild detergent. Never submerge unit in water.

SWITCH SETTINGS

RECOMMENDED MASSAGING TIMES

Generally, the Foot Spa should not be used for more than 10-15 minutes at a time, although it may be used once or twice daily at different intervals. Allow unit to cool before using again. As a person's metabolism varies, so does the response to massage. You will soon adjust your massage time to suit your needs and personal comfort.

SAFETY CAUTIONS

• Ensure your hands are dry before touching the switch or the plug.
• Place the appliance on a level surface.
• Never use without water.
  Always unplug when not in use, or before filling, emptying, cleaning or moving the appliance. Do not leave appliance unattended when plugged in.
• Make sure no water is spilled onto the control switch.
• Do not immerse in water or any other liquid. Do not use the appliance near (within 60 cm) bathtubs, washbasins or other vessels containing water. We also recommend using a residual current device (RCD) with a nominal operating current not exceeding 30mA . Ask your fitter for advice.
• The appliance has a heated surface. Persons insensitive to heat must exercise extra caution when using the appliance.
• Do not stand in the appliance. Always remain seated during use.
• Discontinue use of this appliance if you start to feel any discomfort, pain or irritation. If you suffer from medical problems involving your feet or legs, consult your doctor before use.
• Do not use any accessories other than those recommended by BaByliss.
• Allow to cool before storing.
• Store out of the reach of children.
• Discontinue use immediately if the cord appears damaged. The cord must be replaced by the manufacturer, its after-sales service or a similarly qualified

person to prevent any risk to the user. The user must not try to repair this appliance.

This appliance complies with the requirements of Directives 89/336/EEC (Electromagnetic compatibility) and 73/23/EEC (Safety of domestic electrical equipment), as amended by Directive 93/68/EEC (CE marking).

Enclose your name, address and telephone number, details of the fault and your proof of purchase. Wrap the product well and return to the Conair Service Centre (See attached guarantee card). The Conair Group Limited will either repair or replace your product as appropriate.

Out of Guarantee

Telephone the Conair Service Centre 0870 5 133191 (09.00-17.00 Monday-Friday) for details of the standard repair/replacement fee. Wrap the product well, enclose your cheque (made payable to The Conair Group Ltd.), name, address and telephone number and a note of the fault and return to the Conair Service Centre (See attached guarantee card).

UK WIRING INSTRUCTIONS

The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:

BLUE = NEUTRAL BROWN = LIVE

As the colours of the wire in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the colour markings identifying the terminals on your plug proceed as follows:

• The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter N or coloured black.
• The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter L or coloured red.
• Neither core should be connected to the earth terminal of a three pin plug marked with the letter E or or is coloured green or green and yellow.

With this appliance, if a 13 amp plug is used a 3 amp fuse should be fitted. If any other type of plug is used a 5 amp fuse must be fitted either in the plug or at the distribution board.

Discarding electrical and electronic equipment at the end of life.

In everybody's interest and to participate actively in protecting the environment:

• Do not discard these items with your household waste.
• Use the available trade-in and collection systems.

Some materials can in this way be recycled or recovered.
