At what distance should I place the fan heater from flammable objects?

Place the fan heater at least 1 meter from flammable objects or furniture in front, and 50 cm from the rear grille. Never block the air inlet and outlet grilles.

Can I use this fan heater in a bathroom?

No, do not use the fan heater near a shower, bathtub, or sink. It is not designed for humid rooms and presents a risk of electrocution.

How to clean the fan heater?

Unplug the device and wait for it to cool down. Every 6 months, use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust from the air inlet and outlet grilles, as well as from the motor and heating element.

What to do if the device turns off by itself?

This is a sign of overheating. Turn off the device, eliminate possible causes (obstacles in front of the grilles, dirt buildup), let it cool down 15 to 20 minutes, then turn it back on.

How to set the thermostat correctly?

Set the thermostat to maximum until a comfortable temperature is reached, then turn the knob counterclockwise until you hear a click (stop). Then turn slightly clockwise to maintain the chosen temperature.

Why is there a slight smoke during first use?

It is normal for slight smoke to appear the first few times. This is due to the production oil burning off. Ventilate the room and the smell will disappear quickly.

Can children use this device?

Children aged 3 to 8 years can turn the device on/off only if it is properly installed and under continuous supervision. Children under 3 years must be kept away. Never let children play with the device.

Can I use a controlled outlet or timer with this heater?

No, it is forbidden to use a timer or separate remote control. The device must be plugged directly into an accessible mains socket.

How to install the device on the wall?

Make sure the wall is not made of plastic or synthetic material. Fix the device at least 1 meter from flammable objects. The cable must be fully unwound and the socket accessible.

What to do if the power cable is damaged?

This appliance is for private and indoor use only and must not be used commercially. Please read the instruction manual carefully and keep it at a safe place. When the appliance is given to another person the instruction manual should be passed to that person, too. Only use the appliance as described in the instruction manual and pay attention to the safety information. No liability for damages or accidents will be accepted, which are caused by not paying attention to the instruction manual.

Safety information

The appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above and persons with limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience/knowledge, provided that are supervised or have been provided with instruction in the safe use of the appliance and have understood the resulting dangers. Children must not use the packaging as a plaything. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children unless they are 8 years or older and are supervised.
- Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
- Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
- The appliance must not be operated using a timer or a separate remote system!

For your own safety

• This fan heater is an extra-heating in the house. It must be used according to this concept.
• Make sure that your supply rating corresponds to what specified on the rating plate i.e. 230 V AC, 50 Hz.
• Don't leave your home while the appliance is in function: ensure in this case that the switch is in OFF (0) position.
• During function, place the heater in a safe position :

· far (1 mt.) from inflammable objects or furnitures; if wall mounted, not fixed to wooden or synthetic plastic surfaces;
- leaving the air outlet space free : 1 mt. of free space in front of the heater and 50 cm. of free space behind it;
- not located immediately below a socket-outlet.

- Do not leave animals or children touch or play with the appliance.

Pay attention!

The air outlet grille gets hot during operation (more than 80^irc C i.e. 17 5°F). Parts of this product may be very hot and cause burns. Special attention is needed when children or vulnerable persons are present.

- Take care, that children are not playing with packaging material (e.g. Plastic Bags)

WARNING: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater. Do not hang anything on the heater and do not cover it while it's working. This is clearly written on the cover of the product or shown by the symbol

- Do not use the heater in rooms with explosive gas or while using inflammable solvents or varnish or glues.

- If the cordset is damaged and you have to change it, do not do the job yourselves! Take the product to an after sales authorised repair centre or to a person with similar skill and knowledge, in order to avoid any risk of danger.

• Do not use this heater close to showers, baths, swimming pools.
• The appliance must be positioned so that the plug is always accessible and not to be hot blown on.

Safe positioning

• The appliance must be used only on a flat, stable surface.
• The fan heater only operates when the safety switch on the bottom of the unit is pressed.
• The appliance must be not accessible for persons who are taking a bath or in the shower.
• Do not place the cable under a carpet.
• Mind that during function the cordset must be always completely pulled out.

Maintenance

This fan heater does not require any particular maintenance.

We only recommend to clean at least twice a year the air inlet and air outlet grille with a vacuum cleaner to remove dust from motor and heating element.

Use of the heater

Use of the thermostat

• In a room where the temperature is too high (more than 30^ircC ), it is normal that the thermostat will not switch on the heater.
• In a room where the temperature is too low (around 5°C or even less) it is also normal that the thermostat will keep the appliance working until the temperature gets higher.
• To select the right thermostat position we suggest you to

- turn the thermostat in maximum position (clockwise);

- leave the appliance working until the comfortable temperature is reached;

- turn the knob anti clockwise until you hear a „click“ and the red indication light turns off;

- turn clockwise again the knob (just a little): in this position the thermostat will maintain the comfortable temperature you have selected. The red indication light shines if the heater turns on again.

- If the appliance is used for the first time there can be a little smoke due to some production oil residues.

Safety in case of abnormal operation

• In case of overheating the safety cut out protecting the heating element will automatically switch off the appliance.
• In this case the appliance stops working and the pilot light will remain switched on even if the appliance is not working.

• If this happens:

• switch off the fan heater;

• remove the causes of abnormal operation or overheating (i.e. obstacles in front of air inlet or air outlet grille);
• leave the heater cool down for 15/20 minutes;
• switch on again the fan heater.

To prevent possible harm to the environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources. To return your used device, please use the return and collection systems or contact the retailer where the product was purchased. They can take this product for environmental safe recycling.
