How to turn on the Fondital GAR RAD PRESSOFUSI ML boiler?

Ensure gas and electricity supplies are on. Press the On/Off button for 2 seconds. The screen displays room temperature.

How to set the heating temperature?

Use the + and - keys on the control panel to adjust the heating flow temperature between 30 °C and 80 °C.

What to do if an error code appears?

Note the displayed code (e.g. E01, E02). Consult the manual for the meaning. Most faults require a reset: press Reset for 5 seconds. If the fault persists, contact an authorized technician.

How to bleed air from radiators?

Close the radiator shut-off valve. Open the bleed valve with a special key until water flows without bubbles. Close it. Check the boiler pressure (ideally 1 bar).

How often should the boiler be serviced?

Annual maintenance by a qualified professional is mandatory. It includes cleaning the burner, checking the heat exchanger, and emission control.

Can I use the boiler with propane?

Yes, the GAR RAD PRESSOFUSI ML model is compatible with propane (G31). Conversion by an authorized technician is required to adjust the burner.

How to increase water pressure?

Open the filling valve until the pressure gauge shows 1 bar. Close it. Bleed radiators if pressure drops.

What to do if the boiler does not start?

Check the power supply, gas supply (meter open), and water pressure (>0.5 bar). If everything is fine, press Reset.

How to switch between summer/winter mode?

Press and hold the Mode button to switch. In summer, only domestic hot water works. In winter, both heating and hot water are active.

All die-cast radiators have a 10 year guarantee, while Aleternum radiators are granted 20 years.

The guarantee covers all manufacturing defects from the date of purchase or installation as stated on the proof of purchase or the conformity certificate issued by the installer.

Within the guarantee period, radiators with manufacturing defects will be replaced and damages to people or objects as a result of defects, will be reimbursed. The installation should be carried out by qualified installers only, in conformity with the laws and standards in force.

The following instructions regarding installation, use and maintenance and those indicated in our commercial documents must be observed. Radiators with visible defects must not be used.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION

When installing the radiator please take the following into account:

• the radiators can be used in hot water and vapour systems (maximum temperature 120 °C), excluding single-pipe steam systems;
  • for all models, the maximum working pressure is 16 bar (1600 kPa);
• to tighten the nipples apply a tightening torque between 50 and 80Nm . Do not exceed 80Nm ;
• the radiators must be installed in such a way as to guarantee the following minimum distances: 12 cm from the floor; 2 ÷ 5 cm from the rear wall; 10 cm from alcoves or shelves;
• the rear wall must be sufficiently insulated in order to prevent heat loss;
• each radiator must be equipped with a bleeding valve, if possible an automatic one (especially if the radiator needs to be isolated from the system);
• at a temperature of 25 °C the system water's pH must be between 7 and 8 (between 5 and 10 for models "ALeternum" only); it should be treated with products for multimetal systems - reference should also be made to standards in force in the country of installation. Only specific products, such as CILLIT HS 23 Combi, Fernox Protector F1 or Sentinel X100, should therefore be used;
• if the water in the system is shown to be corrosive, the guarantee will automatically be rendered void;
• the surfaces supporting the seals of the side elements are always painted; when assembling the sections threading and fitting the plugs, do not sandpaper or file them to avoid any water leaks.
• do not install the radiators in very humid environments such as swimming pools, saunas, etc.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE AND MAINTENANCE

• abrasive products must not be used to clean the radiator's surfaces;
• porous humidifiers such as earthenware must not be used;
• the radiator should not be cutoff from the sytem by closing the valve completely;
• if the radiator needs to be vented on a regular basis, this indicates that the system it is not functioning properly and a trusted technician, the official importer's after-sales service should therefore be contacted.
