They may fall when opening or closing the door and cause injuries. - Disconnect the product from the mains if there is repeated power outage or if you need to clean the product. Wait for at least five minutes before reconnecting the product to the mains to avoid harming the compressor from repeated starting.

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• If the power socket is loose, do not plug in the power plug. There is a risk of electric shock and fire.
• Do not pull on the power cord when unplugging the product. Grasp the power plug firmly and pull it out of the power socket.
• Do not damage the power cord or use it if it is damaged or worn. Any damage to the cord may cause a short circuit, fire, and electric shock.

Risk of fire!

The following symbol can be found on the product. It is a warning and indicates that the refrigerant and insulation blowing gas are flammable.

• During transportation and installation of the product, ensure that none of the components of the refrigerant circuit become damaged. The refrigerant, isobutane (R600a), contained within the refrigerant circuit is flammable.
• In case of leakage of gas and other flammable gases, turn off the valve of the leaking gas and then open doors and windows. Do not unplug the product and other electrical products because sparks may cause a fire.
• If the refrigerant circuit is damaged, avoid open flames and sources of ignition and thoroughly ventilate the area surrounding the product.
• Do not alter the specifications or modify the product in any way.
• Do not place flammable items near the product.

Safety during installation

WARNING!

• Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
• When positioning the product, ensure the power cord and power plug are not trapped or damaged. A damaged power plug may overheat and cause a fire.
• When positioning the product, ensure the stability of the product according to the instructions.
• This product must be placed on a level surface of hard material.
• This surface should be strong enough to support a fully loaded product.
• Ensure that the power cord is securely connected to the socket.
• Disconnect the product from the mains before installing accessories.
• When positioning the product, ensure the power plug is accessible.
• Do not install the product in a location with direct sunlight.
• Do not install the product in areas with moisture or where it can get splashed with water, as it can harm the electrical insulation properties.
• Keep ventilation openings outside the product clear of obstruction.
• Do not install the product without sufficient space and air ventilation around the product. This leads to overheating.
• Do not install the back of the product too close to a wall. There is a risk of fire if the compressor gets overheated.
• Do not install the product close to radiators, cookers or other heat sources.

WARNING!

• Do not connect the product to the power socket if the product is damaged. Contact the retailer from which you purchased the product.
• The product must employ a dedicated power socket, meaning that the power socket must not be shared with other products.
• Do not locate multiple portable socket outlets or portable power supplies behind the product.
• The power plug must match the power socket equipped with a ground wire.
• Do not use extension cords and do not lengthen the power cord.
• After positioning the product, it is recommended to wait at least 2 hours before connecting the product to the mains.
• If the fluctuation of voltage in the installation area exceeds the single phase alternating current of 220\~240V/50Hz, use an AC automatic voltage regulator of more than 350W.

CAUTION!

This product performs well within the climate class SN, N, ST, T. See section "Climate classes", page 67. The product may not work properly if it is exposed to temperatures above or below temperature ranges spanning from 10°C to 43°C for a long period.

Safety during operation

WARNING!

Do not store flammable, volatile, highly corrosive or explosive substances (such as aerosol cans that contain a flammable propellant), in this product. There is a risk of damage to the product, fire accidents or explosions.

WARNING!

Keep burning candles, lamps and other items with naked flames away from the product to avoid the risk of fire.

WARNING!

• Do not remove food or containers from the freezer compartment with wet hands when the product is running, especially metal containers, to avoid the risk of skin abrasions and ice burns.
• Do not consume frozen food, such as ice popsicles and ice cubes, straight from the product. This may cause ice burns.

WARNING!

• Keep ventilation openings inside the product clear of obstruction.
• Do not interrupt the operation of the product once it is started. The service life may be impaired.
• Do not use electrical appliances inside the food storage compartments of the product, other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
• Do not put too much food in the drawers, and close the door carefully, to avoid items falling and causing injury or damage to the product.
• Do not put your fingers in the small gaps between the product door and the cabinet to avoid getting them pinched.

CAUTION!

• Do not place hot items near the plastic components of the product.
• Do not place food products directly against the air outlet on the rear wall.

Warnings for food safety!

To avoid contamination of food, please follow these instructions:

• Avoid prolonged door openings: Keeping the door open for long periods can cause a significant increase in the temperature inside the compartments.
• Regular cleaning: Clean surfaces that come into contact with food and accessible drainage systems regularly.
• Water dispenser maintenance: For models with a water dispenser: If the water dispenser has not been used for 48 hours, clean it before use. If the water system is connected to a water supply and has not been used for 5 days, flush it before consumption.
• Proper storage of raw meat and fish: Store raw meat and fish in suitable containers in the compartments to prevent contact with or dripping onto other food.

• Star-rated compartments:

• Two-star frozen food compartments are suitable for storing pre-frozen food, preserving ice cream, and making ice cubes.
• One-star, two-star, and three-star compartments are not suitable for freezing fresh food.

- Long-term storage precautions: If the refrigerating product is left empty for long periods, switch it off, defrost, clean, dry, and leave the door open to prevent mould from developing inside.

- The storage recommendations should be strictly adhered to.

- Store pre-packed frozen food in accordance with the frozen food manufacturer's instructions.

- To prevent the frozen food from getting too warm while defrosting, which can shorten its storage life, take precautions such as wrapping the food in multiple layers of newspaper.

- Do not freeze frozen food again once it has thawed out.

- Do not place carbonated or fizzy drinks in the product as it creates pressure in the container, which may cause it to explode and damage the product.

- Do not place bottles or enclosed containers containing liquids in the freezer. The containers may crack because of freezing.

- Food needs to be packed into bags before it is put into the product. Liquids need to be stored in bottles or capped containers in order to avoid a spill.

Safety during maintenance

WARNING!

• Any electrical work must be performed by a qualified electrician or a person with comparable qualifications.
• This product must only be serviced by an authorised service center, and only genuine spare parts must be used.
• Do not replace the lamp in the product. If the lamp is broken, contact support.

Before any cleaning or performing any maintenance of the product, unplug the product from the power socket.

Do not use tools or other means to accelerate the defrosting process, other than those recommended by the manufacturer.

CAUTION!

• Ensure that frozen food does not increase in temperature during manual defrosting, maintenance or cleaning. This may result in reduced storage time.
• Do not use hard brushes, clean steel balls, wire brushes, abrasives (such as toothpastes), organic solvents (such as alcohol, acetone, banana oil, etc.), boiling water, acid or alkaline items, which may damage the products surface and interior. Boiling water and organic solvents such as benzene may deform or damage plastic parts.
• Do not rinse directly with water or other liquids to avoid short circuits or affect electrical insulation after immersion.
• Do not use sharp objects to remove frost from the product. Use a plastic scraper.
• Do not spray water on the product.
• Regularly clean surfaces that can come in contact with food and accessible drainage systems.
• Do not use cleaning products (such as soap, detergent, scrub powder, spray cleaner, etc.) to clean the interior. They may cause odour and may contaminate food.

Disposal

DANGER!

• To prevent children from getting trapped inside, remove the doors before disposing of the product. Leave the shelves and drawers in place so that children cannot climb inside.

WARNING!

• If the product has a spring lock on the door, make the spring lock unusable before disposing of the product.
• To prevent children from getting an electric shock, cut the power cord before disposing of the product.

WARNING!

• Ensure that the tubing of the refrigerant circuit is not damaged prior to disposal.
• Refrigerators contain refrigerant, cyclopentane foaming material and gases in the insulation. Refrigerant and gases must be disposed of professionally at an authorised waste disposal centre as they may cause eye injuries or ignition. The refrigerant and insulation blowing gas are flammable. Do not expose to flame.

Dispose of packaging in an environmentally-friendly manner. Recycling packaging, while observing national and local regulations, can reduce the consumption of raw materials and the amount of waste in landfill sites.

Fridge compartment

The fridge compartment is suitable for storing a variety of fruits, vegetables, beverages and other food for consumption in the short term.

The compartment consists of door racks, shelves and one drawer.

NOTE!

This product is most energy efficient with all shelves and drawers in their original position.

Freezer compartment

The freezer compartment can keep food fresh for a long time and is suitable for storing meat, fish, ice cream and other food that is not intended to be consumed in the short term.

The compartment consists of two drawers and one storage box.

Unlock the child lock

The panel is locked after 30 seconds if the button has not been pressed.

1. Touch and hold for 3 seconds.

The panel is unlocked, and the temperature indicators flash for 2 seconds.

Find the model code

The model code is printed on a label on the product. You need the code to find the complete and most recent information, service and support for your product model.

NOTE!

Before first use

Prepare the fridge freezer for the first use before plugging it in and storing food.

1. Make sure the fridge freezer is unpacked and placed properly.

1. Leave the fridge freezer to stand for at least 2 hours before plugging it in.

1. Plug in the power cord.

1. Let the fridge freezer run empty for 2-3 hours (in warmer weather, let the freezer run empty for 4+ hours). Your fridge freezer is now ready for use.

NOTE! The default temperature setting is 4 °C in the fridge and -18 °C in the freezer. This is the recommended temperature setting when the fridge freezer is initially powered on.

NOTE!

Storing too much food when your fridge freezer is first turned on may affect the refrigerating performance negatively.

USING YOUR FRIDGE FREEZER

Turn off and turn on the fridge freezer

The controls can only be used when the child lock is unlocked. To turn off the child lock, see section "Unlock the child lock", page 13.

CAUTION!

Do not store food in the fridge freezer when it is turned off.

1. Touch and hold for 10 seconds to turn off the fridge freezer. The fridge freezer turns off after 30 seconds.
2. Touch to turn on the fridge freezer. The control panel is lit for 3 s.

Change the temperature

Set the temperature level for both the refrigerator and freezer compartment.

CAUTION!

- A high temperature setting will accelerate food waste. - A lower temperature setting than necessary wastes energy.

1. Open the fridge door.

1. Touch and hold for 3 seconds to unlock the panel.

1. Touch to cycle through the available temperatures: 2°C, 4°C, 6°C and 8°C. The temperature setting adjusts the temperature in both the fridge and freezer compartments.

NOTE!

- The default temperature setting is 4 °C in the fridge and -18 °C in the freezer. This is the recommended temperature setting when the fridge freezer is initially powered on.

- Temperatures inside each compartment may vary, depending on how much food is stored and where the food is placed. High or low room temperature may also affect the actual temperature inside the fridge freezer.

Turn on and turn off Super Cool mode

Use Super Cool mode to rapidly lower the temperature. Doing so cools down the food faster than usual. This keeps the food fresh for longer and vitamins and nutrients are preserved more efficiently.

1. Unlock the child lock, see section "Unlock the child lock", page 13.
2. Touch and hold for 3 seconds to turn on Super Cool mode.

6 and 8 is lit on the control panel to indicate that Super Cool mode is on.

1. Touch to turn off Super Cool mode.

Super Cool mode automatically turns off after 6 hours and the temperature setting in the fridge reverts back to the previous setting.

Turn on and turn off Super Freeze mode

Use Super Freeze mode to rapidly lower the temperature. Doing so freezes the food faster than usual. This keeps the food fresh for longer and vitamins and nutrients are preserved more efficiently.

1. Unlock the child lock, see section "Unlock the child lock", page 13.
2. Touch and hold for 6 seconds to turn on Super Freeze mode. 2 and 4 are lit on the control panel to indicate that Super Freeze mode is on.
3. Touch to turn off Super Freeze mode. Super Freeze mode automatically turns off after 40 hours and the temperature setting in the freezer reverts back to the previous setting.

Storing food

Store food in the fridge

WARNING!

Do not overload the shelves, door racks or put too much food in the drawers to avoid items falling and causing injury or damage to the fridge freezer.

CAUTION!

• Always follow food storage times and expiration dates suggested by manufacturers. - Opening the door for long periods can cause a significant increase of the temperature in the compartments. - Store raw meat and fish in suitable containers in the fridge, so that it is not in contact with or drip onto other food.

CAUTION!

Do not close the door while any shelves are extended or drawers are open. It may damage the shelves, drawers and door.

NOTE!

To avoid wasting energy:

• Do not store warm food or evaporating liquid in the fridge freezer. Placing hot food directly into the fridge or freezer causes the internal temperature to rise, resulting in the compressor having to work harder and therefore consume more energy. Warm food and beverages must cool down to room temperature before storing them.
• Do not keep the doors open for longer periods.
• Do not line the inside of the drawer or shelves with aluminium foil, wax paper, or paper towels. This could interfere with air circulation and make the fridge less efficient.

Use the following tips and recommendations when storing food in the fridge.

When refrigerating fresh food:

• Cover or wrap the food, particularly if it has a strong flavour.
• Place the food so that air can circulate freely around it.
• During power outage, foods can be kept for several hours. Do not open the door during power outage, and do not put any more fresh food into the fridge.

• Prepare food in small portions to enable it to be rapidly and completely frozen and in turn make it possible to thaw only the quantity required. Once defrosted, food will deteriorate rapidly and should not be frozen again.
• When food freezes too slowly, it can lose quality or go bad.
• Wrap up the food in aluminum foil or polyethylene food wraps which are airtight. Wipe containers dry before placing them in the freezer.
• Label and date each frozen package in order to keep track of the storage time. Remove as many items as needed at one time.
• Do not allow fresh unfrozen food to touch the food which is already frozen to avoid temperature rise of the latter.
• Ensure that frozen food has been stored correctly by the food retailer.
• During power outage, foods in the freezer can be kept for several hours. Do not open the door during power outage, and do not put any more fresh food into the freezer.
• Do not line the inside of the drawer or shelves with aluminum foil, wax paper, or paper towels. This could interfere with air circulation and make the freezer less efficient.

Change the humidity level in the Fruit & Vegetables Box

Set the humidity level in the box to accommodate different types of food. The crisper cover for the box allows for better control of humidity and keeps fruits and vegetables from losing moisture.

A higher humidity level can keep fruits and vegetables fresh for a longer period of time.

1. Move the slide bar to the right to increase the humidity level, which is suitable for vegetables. Move the slide bar to the left to decrease the humidity level, which is suitable for fruits.

Make ice cubes

Use the ice cube tray to make ice cubes.

1. Fill the ice cube tray with water up to eighty percent.

1. Place the ice cube tray in the freezer and wait at least two hours for the water to freeze.

1. Gently twist the tray to separate the ice cubes from the tray.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Clean the exterior

Clean the exterior every two months. This will help maintain a good appearance of the fridge freezer.

WARNING!

• Unplug the product before cleaning. There is a risk of electric shock.
• Do not use hard brushes, clean steel balls, wire brushes, abrasives (such as toothpastes), organic solvents (such as alcohol, acetone, banana oil, etc.), boiling water, acid or alkaline items, which may damage the product's surface and interior. Clean the interior

Clean the interior every two months to prevent odours. It will be easier to clean when food stocks are low.

- Do not use hard brushes, clean steel balls, wire brushes, abrasives (such as toothpastes), organic solvents (such as alcohol, acetone, banana oil, etc.), boiling water, acid or alkaline items, which may damage the product's surface and interior. Boiling water and organic solvents such as benzene may deform or damage plastic parts.

Clean the door seals

Check and clean the door seals regularly to make sure there is no debris. Sticky food and drinks can cause the seals to stick to the cabinet and tear when you open the door.

Defrost the freezer

Although this fridge freezer automatically defrosts, a layer of frost may form on the freezer compartment's interior walls if the freezer door is opened frequently or kept open too long. The freezer needs to be defrosted if the frost is too thick. Try to defrost when the freezer is nearly empty.

• Do not plug the fridge freezer back into the power socket unless the interior is completely dry.

When starting the fridge freezer after a period of non-use, let the fridge freezer run at least 2 hours on low temperature settings before putting food in the compartment.

Replacing the LED light

Compressor runs continuously

Normal to hear the sound of the compressor

It is normal to frequently hear the sound of the compressor. The compressor will need to run more when:

• the temperature setting is set colder than necessary. Increase the temperature;
• a large quantity of warm food has recently been stored. Do not put hot food in the product;
• the temperature outside the product is too high;
• the doors are kept open too long or too often;
• the door seal is dirty, worn out, broken or not properly installed. Clean or replace the door seal;
• this product is larger than a previously installed product. Larger refrigerating products need to operate for a longer period of time;
• the product is recently installed or has been turned off for a long time.

Odour from the compartments

The problem can have different causes. Follow the instructions for the suggested causes to solve the problem.

Interior is not clean

Food, containers or wrapping are causing odours

Use a different container, wrap food properly or remove food from the fridge freezer.

Noise from the fridge freezer

Noise is normal during operation

The following noises are normal during operation:

• Buzzing noise when the compressor starts and stops.
• Buzzing noise from the compressor running.

Accessories are not placed properly

Check if the accessories are correctly placed or if any bottles or containers have fallen or rolled.

Temperature inside is too warm

The problem can have different causes. Follow the instructions for the suggested causes to solve the problem.

Doors are left open too long or too frequently

Make sure that the door is fully closed. Check that the doors are not kept open by some obstacle.

Fridge freezer does not have sufficient space around it

Move the fridge freezer so that it has sufficient space around it. See section "Installation area", page 40.

Storing too much food in the fridge freezer

Store food and drinks according to the recommendations. See section "Store food in the fridge", page 17 and section "Store food in the freezer", page 18.

Temperature inside is too cold

Temperature setting is set to too cold

Doors cannot be closed easily

INSTALLATION

Follow the instructions in this section to install your product.

Before installing or adjusting accessories, make sure that the product is unplugged from the power socket.

• When positioning the product, ensure the power cord is not trapped or damaged.
• Do not use extension cords and do not lengthen the power cord.
• Do not locate multiple portable socket outlets or portable power supplies behind the product.
• Use a dedicated power socket, which must not be shared with other products.

CAUTION!

Take care when handling the product to ensure that it does not fall and cause injury.

Installation area

WARNING!

• When positioning the product, ensure the power cord and power plug are not trapped or damaged. A damaged power plug may overheat and cause a fire.
• This product must be placed on a level surface of hard material.
• This surface should be strong enough to support a fully loaded product.
• When positioning the product, ensure the power plug is accessible.
• Keep ventilation openings outside the product clear of obstruction.
• Do not install the product without sufficient space and air ventilation around the product. This leads to overheating.
• Do not install the back of the product too close to a wall. There is a risk of fire if the compressor gets overheated.

CAUTION!

This product performs well within the climate class SN, N, ST, T. See section "Climate classes", page 67. The product may not work properly if it is exposed to temperatures above or below temperature ranges spanning from 10°C to 43°C for a long period.

Keep the following in mind when choosing a location to install the product:

• Avoid direct sunlight, rain or frost.
• Keep away from heat sources, such as cookers, ovens, fires, heaters or radiators.
• Position in a well-ventilated indoor location.
• Do not install the product in a damp or wet location.
• The surface should be rigid, dry and level.
• Leave enough space to allow the doors and drawers to open easily, in accordance with the dimensions.

To level the product properly and allow air to circulate in the lower rear of the product, the feet may need to be adjusted.

You can save energy and improve the efficiency of the cooling system by installing the product with sufficient space around it. This ensures good ventilation.

Unpack the fridge freezer

1. Check the packaging for any damage. If the packaging is damaged, do not unpack the product and contact the retailer where the product was purchased.

1. Remove the cardboard box and styrofoam packaging.

1. Turn the fridge freezer to remove it from the base packaging.

1. Remove the plastic wrapping.

1. Remove the tape holding the doors shut.

1. Remove the protective film on the shelves and on the drawers.

1. Check the product for any damage. If the product is damaged, do not connect the product to the power supply, keep the packaging and contact the retailer where the product was purchased.

Remove and install the doors

WARNING!

Do not have the product connected to the power socket when removing and installing the doors. Ensure that the power plug is removed from the power socket.

1. Remove the door racks.

1. Remove the upper hinge and the hole caps. Hold the door with your hand.

1. Remove the fridge door. Place the door on a smooth surface with the front panel facing upward.

1. Remove the bottom hinge of the fridge door and the upper hinge of the freezer door.

1. Remove the freezer door. Place the door on a smooth surface with the front panel facing upward.

1. Remove the bottom hinge of the freezer door.

1. To install the doors, repeat the steps in reverse order.

Reverse the doors

You can change at which side the door opens if the installation site requires it.

1. Remove the doors from the hinges. See section "Remove and install the doors", page 44.

1. Remove the sliding blocks from the door.

1. Remove the fixed blocks from the doors.

1. Install the fixed blocks on the opposite side of the doors.

1. Rotate the sliding blocks and install them on the opposite side of the doors.

NOTE! The sliding blocks needs to be flipped 180° when the door is installed on the opposite side.

1. Install the hole caps and the hole cover on the opposite side.

1. Use the upper hinge of the freezer door and install it as the bottom hinge.

NOTE! The hinge needs to be flipped 180° when the door is installed on the opposite side.

1. Install the freezer door.

1. Install the upper hinge of the freezer door.

1. Use the upper hinge of the fridge door and install it as the bottom hinge.

NOTE! The hinge needs to be flipped 180° when the door is installed on the opposite side.

Install in a cabinet

WARNING!

• Do not have the product connected to the power socket when installing the fridge freezer in the cabinet.
• Do not install the product without sufficient space and air ventilation around the product. This leads to overheating. See section "Installation area", page 40.

There are two options to install the fixing plates on the fridge freezer.

Install fixing plates on the middle beam

1. Touch to turn off the fridge freezer.

1. Unplug the fridge freezer.

1. Push the fridge freezer into the cabinet. Make sure that the top edge of the baffle and the limit hook of the support leg are fully resting against the cabinet edge.

NOTE! Choose a location to install the fridge freezer according to the recommendations. See section "Installation area", page 40.

1. Secure the supporting legs with screws, and install the screw caps.

1. After the legs are secured, turn the limit hooks upwards and push in.

1. Secure the top baffle to the top of the cabinet with screws, and install the screw caps.

1. Open the lower door of the cabinet to the maximum angle, and open the freezer door to the corresponding position.

1. Secure the fixing blocks to the lower door of the cabinet with screws, and install the screw caps.

NOTE! Slide the sliding blocks to make sure the inner edge of the blocks aligns with the inner edge of the free door.

1. Open the upper door of the cabinet to the maximum angle, and open the fridge door to the corresponding position.

1. Secure the fixing blocks to the upper door of the cabinet with screws, and install the screw caps.

NOTE! Slide the sliding blocks to make sure the inner edge of the blocks aligns with the inner edge of the fridge door.

1. Press the sealing strip into the gap between the cabinet and the fridge freezer.

1. Remove the hole cover and the hole caps.

1. Insert the hole caps in the middle beam.

1. Screw in the fixing plates into the middle beam. NOTE! Do not screw the screws tightly.

1. Move the fixing plates towards the cabinet and tighten the screws.

1. Secure the fixing plates on both sides of the middle beam by screwing them in.

1. Install the fixing plate covers.

1. Plug in the fridge freezer.

1. Touch to turn on the fridge freezer. Your fridge freezer is now ready for use.

1. Unplug the fridge freezer.

1. Let the combined refrigerator stand for at least 2 hours before connecting it.

1. Insert the power cord.

NOTE:

- The default setting is 4 °C in the refrigerator and -18 °C in the freezer. This is the recommended temperature setting when the combined refrigerator is turned on for the first time.

External cleaning

1. Connect the combined refrigerator.

Cleaning the inside

1. Remove the food from the combined refrigerator.

1. Wipe the inside of the combined refrigerator with a soft cloth or sponge moistened with a weak mixture of water and baking soda.

1. Go over with a sponge or cloth that has been rinsed in hot water and wrung out well.

1. Connect to the combined refrigerator-freezer.

1. Connect to the combined refrigerator-freezer.

1. Remove the lamp cover with a screwdriver.

1. Mount the cover on the lamp.

1. Remove the cardboard box and the Styrofoam packaging.

1. Remove the plastic wrap.

1. Take out the door shelves.

1. Remove the freezer door. Place the door on a smooth surface with the front panel facing up.

1. Remove the lower hinge of the freezer door.

Reverse the doors.

1. Remove the glide blocks on the door.

1. Remove the cover cap and the blind plugs.

1. Insert the blind plugs into the middle strut.

1. Connect the combo cabinet.

1. Remove the cover cap and the blind plugs.

1. Insert the blind plugs.

1. Screw in the mounting plates.

1. Tighten the mounting plates.

1. Connect the combo cabinet.

Moving the combined refrigerator

WARNING!

• Do not place the combined refrigerator upside down or horizontally.
• The tilt angle during moving must not exceed 45°.
• Avoid vibrations on the combined refrigerator while moving it.
• Do not hold the door and hinge while moving the product.
• Remove the food from the combined refrigerator.

1. Secure the drawers with tape.
