USER MANUAL RPB502 LEXIBOOK

This section explains how to use your new Barbie Magic Iron. Read the following instructions to discover all the functions of the Barbie Magic Iron. Ask an adult to read and understand the safety instructions.

Using a screwdriver, insert 2 type AA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment located on the underside of the iron.

To activate the Magic Iron, turn the knob located under the handle from the off position to ironing position to play great ironing effects. This will also turn on the iron light with a click sound effect.

Note: The light switches on and off every 30 seconds.

Turn the knob to music position (music note) to play different melodies. While the iron is playing melodies, the light will flash in time to the music.

In ironing mode or in music mode, press the steam button at any time to hear a steam sound effect.

In ironing mode or in music mode, press the fun button located on the turning knob at any time to play a random fun sound.

To refill the water tank, lift the tank vertically from the iron. Twist and remove the flower-shaped cap on the top and fill the tank with water. Then replace the cap and slot the tank back into the iron.

When you press the spray button, water will spray out of the nozzle.

Note: you need to press the button a few times before the water comes out.

Note: The iron will automatically go into sleeping mode after 10 minutes of inactivity.

Battery Information

Barbie magic iron works with 2 × 1.5V = -AA / LR6 alkaline type batteries (not included). Ask an adult to help you to find and install the correct batteries.

1. With the help of a screwdriver, open the battery compartment cover located at the back of the magic iron.
2. Install the 2 × AA/LR6 alkaline type batteries observing carefully the polarity indicated at the bottom of the battery compartment, and as per the diagram shown opposite.
3. Close back the battery compartment and tighten the screw.

Do not use rechargeable batteries. Non rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged. Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before being charged. Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision. Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed. Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used. Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity. Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy. The supply terminals are not to be short circuited. Do not throw batteries into a fire. Remove the batteries if you are not going to use the game for a long period of time.

WARNING: If the unit malfunctions or receives an electrostatic shock, turn the unit off and on again. If this proves to be ineffective, remove the batteries and insert them again.

Maintenance and warranty

Only use a soft, slightly damp cloth to clean the unit. Do not use detergent. Do not to expose the unit to direct sunlight or any other heat source. Do not immerse the unit in water. Do not dismantle or drop the unit. Do not try to twist or bend the unit. If the unit malfunctions, try to change the batteries first. If this proves to be ineffective, read the instruction manual again.

NOTE: please keep this instruction manual, it contains important information. This product is covered by our 2-year warranty.

For any claim under the warranty or after sale service, please contact your distributor and present a valid proof of purchase. Our warranty covers any manufacturing material and workmanship defect, with the exception of any deterioration arising from the non-observation of the instruction manual or from any careless action implemented on this item (such as dismantling, exposition to heat and humidity, etc.). It is recommended to keep the packaging for any further reference. Not suitable for children under 36 months old, as it contains small detachable elements which could be swallowed.
