Thank you for buying our product. Please read through these operating instructions, so you will know how to operate your equipment properly. After you finished reading the instructions manual, put it away in a safe place for future reference.

IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

When using your Speaker, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device.
• Keep this speaker and its accessories away from excessive heat.
• No sharp object should be subjected to the speaker/speaker-drivers as it may damage the speakers.
• Only use a soft cloth, no harsh abrasives or chemicals to clean, as it may damage the surface finishing.
• Keep away from dripping or splashed fluids.
• Ensure the speaker is waterproof by removing all the connected cables and the cap is tightly closed before exposing the speaker to liquid.
• NEVER expose the speaker to water while charging, as doing so may result in damage to the speaker or the power source.
• NEVER operate this speaker with a damaged cable or after it has malfunctioned or has been damaged in any manner.
• NEVER leave the speaker unattended while charging. If the speaker becomes hot, smokes, or gives off an odor during charging, terminate charging immediately.

WARRANTY

The capacity of the product battery decreases over time. Decreasing of battery capacity occurs during normal use of the appliance and is considered usual wear and tear of the appliance.

Decreasing battery capacity is not a defect of the appliance.

CONTROL BUTTONS

SPEAKER CHARGING

NOTE: Before first-time use, fully charge the built-in battery. The charger is not included in the package. Charge the speaker via a standard 5 V charger or via a PC.

• The battery indicator is flashing one by one during charging.
• All battery indicators are lit when the battery is fully charged.
• The last of the four battery indicators flashes when the speaker has a low battery.

IMPORTANT: Please make a complete charge every three months to avoid shortening the battery lifespan.

LISTENING TO MUSIC FROM A BLUETOOTH DEVICE

NOTE: Pair your Bluetooth-enabled device with the speaker before listening to music.

First time pairing

• Press to power on the speaker. The Bluetooth indicator flashes blue, the speaker is in pairing mode.
• On your device, search for available Bluetooth devices. Select "XS-E524B" on the list of available devices for pairing.

NOTE: If a passcode is required, enter "0000".

• After successful pairing, the Bluetooth indicator stops flashing and remains lit.

Pairing a new device

- Press and hold until the Bluetooth indicator flashes, the currently paired Bluetooth device is disconnected and the speaker is in pairing mode.

LISTENING TO MUSIC ON A USB DEVICE

NOTE: Only MP3 audio format is supported. The speaker supports USB storage devices (FAT32) up to 32 GB. Connect the USB device to the USB port. The speaker will start playing the saved music automatically.

AUX-IN OPERATION

This speaker provides AUX-IN input, through this 3.5 mm jack external audio sources can be connected to the speaker and be amplified.

• Connect your device with a cable (not included) to the AUX-IN input.
• Adjust the volume to your desired level.

NOTE: When using an external device, all playback features can only be controlled by the external device.

TWS OPERATION

If you have two speakers of this model, you can connect the two speakers by TWS function to become stereo output.

NOTE: TWS function is only available for Bluetooth mode.

• Turn on both speakers. Make sure both speakers are without any Bluetooth connection.
• Press * on one of the speakers, the second speaker will connect automatically, the TWS indicators on both speakers will light up green.
• The Bluetooth indicator on the first speaker flashes blue. The Bluetooth indicator on the second speaker stops flashing and goes out.
• Pair your mobile phone with the first speaker, the Bluetooth indicator stops flashing and remains lit.

Disconnect the TWS connection

Press * on one of the speakers to disconnect the TWS pairing.

HANDS-FREE FUNCTION

When phone is connected to your speaker, follow the steps below to take calls hands-free.

• Press * to pick up the call.
• Double press * to reject the call.
• During a call, press * to hang up the call.
