About the IrDA sensor

CAUTION

  • Infrared signal transmission may not be smooth in locations exposed to halogen lamps or in outdoor locations.
  • The robot vacuum cleaner uses 3 types of infrared devices and a device may not work in front of another device with a higher priority.
  • Infrared signal Priority: Remote control > Virtual guard (option) > Charger
  • When controlling the robot vacuum cleaner with the remote control, the robot vacuum cleaner may cross the invisible barrier set by the Virtual guard (option) and enter the area you don’t want it to enter, since remote control’s signal has a higher priority.
  • Different infrared signals may interfere with one another and cause the devices to malfunction if they are used together in a small space or in a close distance.
  • Install the Virtual guard (option) away from the charger as auto charging may be interrupted if the Virtual guard is near the charger.
