How to clean the fan without damaging it?
Unplug the appliance, remove the front grille by unscrewing the fixing screws. Clean the blades and grille with a soft slightly damp cloth. Never use abrasive products or immerse the motor.
The remote control no longer works, what to do?
First check the batteries (CR2025 type). Replace them if necessary. Make sure there is no obstacle between the remote and the receiver. If the problem persists, contact after-sales service.
The fan makes an abnormal noise, is this normal?
A slight motor noise is normal. If the noise is loud or irregular, check that the blades are not warped or the grille is not loose. If the noise persists, stop the appliance and consult a repairer.

Make sure you have set the desired duration (from 1 to 8 hours). The timer starts after a few seconds of inactivity. If it does not stop, reset the appliance by unplugging it for 10 seconds.

Read these instructions thoroughly before using the device. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.

  • All safety instructions must be closely followed when using the appliance.
  • This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance.

Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by unsupervised children.

- This device is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and offices.

- Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage stated on the appliance marking and that the wall outlet is earthed.

- Check the power cable regularly for visible damage. If the cable is damaged, it must be repaired by the official Cecotec Technical Support Service to avoid any type of danger.

- Do not immerse the cable, plug, or any other non-removable part of the device in water or any other liquid or expose electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are completely dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.

- If the appliance falls accidentally into water, unplug it immediately. Do not touch the water!

- Do not operate the device if any fault or unusual sign is detected.

- Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and other parts of the body away from the openings and moving parts of the device.

- Make sure the appliance is placed on a flat and stable surface during operation.

- Do not use the device next to windows, as exposure to rain could cause electric shock.

- Do not cover the grilles and do not place the product cord under carpets or other objects during operation. Keep the sides, front, and back of the appliance at a minimum safety distance of 20 cm from any object or wall.

- Always turn off and unplug the device when not in use and before moving it to a new location. Pull from the plug, not the cable, to disconnect it from the outlet.

2. BEFORE USE

- This appliance is packaged to protect it during transport. Remove the device from its box and take off all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help prevent damage to the device when transporting it in the future. If the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.

- Make sure all parts and components are included and in good condition. If any piece is missing or in bad condition, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.

3. ASSEMBLY

  1. First, remove the cap (by turning it clockwise) and the plastic nut (by turning it counterclockwise). Secure the rear grille so that it is perfectly aligned with the motor; then, tighten the plastic nut clockwise.
  2. Insert the blades into the shaft and make sure that the shaft pin fits into the slot in the blades. Turn the cap counterclockwise to tighten the blades.
  3. Secure the front and rear grilles to each other using the clip.

  1. Unscrew the bolt from the tube.
  2. Insert the tube into the base and tighten the bolt.
  3. Loosen the height adjustment knob. Next, place the inner tube at the desired height.

NOTE: if you cannot find the inner tube, it may be due to the fact that it is stuck in the tube. You will have to pull it out.

  1. To fasten the fan body to the tube, slightly loosen the adjusting nut located at the bottom of the fan. Afterwards, place the fan in the tube and tighten the adjusting nut again.

WARNING: the height adjustment knob must be securely fastened before fitting the fan body.

4. OPERATION

You can control the various functions of the fan via the control panel and the remote control:

Oscillation button

Press this button to activate or deactivate the fan oscillation function. When pressed, it allows the fan body to move from right to left to distribute the airflow over a wider area.

Mode button

Press this button to select between Nature mode and Sleep mode.

Timer button

By pressing this button, you can programme the operating time of the fan to switch off automatically after a pre-set period of time.

On/speed button

Press this button to select the desired speed.

Off button

Press this button to switch off the fan.

5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Always unplug the product from the power supply before cleaning or repairing it. You can clean the fan with a slightly damp cloth. Fig. 6.
  • It is suggested to clean the product with a mild cleaning agent and a soft and wet cloth. Do not use abrasive products such as solvents, acids, or alcohol to clean the plastic components, as these could be deformed or damaged.
  • Do not allow water to enter the motor or touch the cord during cleaning.
