SPECIAL WARNINGS
Always switch off the appliance before attaching or replacing the suction tube, suction hose or attachments. Never use the vacuum cleaner without a bag or the cyclone dust bin (depending on the vacuum cleaner type), or without inlet and exhaust filters. Keep the vents free from dust, hair or any other impurities that could clog the vents, decrease the air flow and reduce suction power. Do not move the vacuum cleaner across the room by pulling by the power cord or the suction hose. Protect the power
Keep the cord away from hot surfaces and check it for any damage, avoiding kinks. When using the automatic cord reel, guide the cord with your hand. For extended use, unwind at least two-thirds of the cord to prevent overheating and damage. If using the vacuum for several hours, fully unwind the cord. Keep the suction tube, the appliance's open parts, and attachments away from your face and body. Never use the vacuum to pick up embers, filings, cigarette butts, matches, liquids (like carpet cleaning foam), or sharp or pointed objects (such as broken glass). Also, avoid picking up toner dust or construction materials (like fine sand, lime, or cement powder), as these can damage the appliance. Be extra cautious when cleaning stairs.

BAGS, DUST CONTAINER AND FILTERS
Cleaning the dust container
If you use a dust container instead of a paper dustbag, this can be used and emptied repeatedly. When the 'dust container full' indicator reaches the middle of the window, clean the dust container. // Do not use a washing machine to rinse filters. // Harsh or abrasive detergent will damage the outer surface. You can empty the dust container in the following ways: Hold the dust container over a dustbin. Open the dust container // Shake the contents of the dustbag into the dustbin. // Close the dust container.

Replacing bags / Replacing the inlet filter
In the case of dustbags, they should be replaced once full. // Open the cover (by pressing the button). // Remove the dustbag holder. // Remove the full dustbag. // Insert a new dustbag into the dustbag holder. // Insert the dustbag holder into the lowerhousing. // Close the lid (you will hear a 'click') Replace the motor protection filter when inserting the first of a new set of dustbags.

Note that it is not possible to close the cover if no dustbag has been inserted
Replacing the outlet filter
Remove the holder. // Insert the bottom edge of the new filter properly into the ridges of the holder. // Close the holder by pressing it back into place gently. Make sure that the filter fits completely into the holder.
