How do I pair the JBL Vibe Beam with my phone?

Remove the earbuds from the charging case. They will automatically enter pairing mode. On your phone, enable Bluetooth and select "JBL Vibe Beam" from the available devices. If prompted, confirm the pairing.

How long does the battery last?

The earbuds provide up to 8 hours of playback on a single charge, and the charging case adds an additional 24 hours, for a total of up to 32 hours.

Are the JBL Vibe Beam water resistant?

Yes, they have an IP54 rating, meaning they are protected against splashing water and dust. They can withstand sweat and light rain, but should not be submerged.

Can I use just one earbud?

Yes, you can use either the left or right earbud independently. Simply take the desired earbud out of the case; the other can remain in the case. It will function as a mono headset.

How do I reset the JBL Vibe Beam?

Place both earbuds in the charging case. Press and hold the touch controls on both earbuds for 5 seconds until the LED flashes red and white. The earbuds will reset and enter pairing mode.

What are the touch controls?

By default: single tap to play/pause or answer/end a call; double tap to skip forward or reject a call; triple tap to go back; long press to activate voice assistant or cycle between volume (left down, right up). You can customize in the JBL Headphones app.

How do I charge the case?

Connect the included USB-C cable to the charging case and a power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter). The LED on the case indicates charging status. A full charge takes about 2 hours.

Can I connect to two devices at once?

No, the JBL Vibe Beam does not support multipoint connection. They can only be connected to one device at a time.

What should I do if the sound is low?

Ensure the earbuds and your device are at maximum volume. Clean the eartips and mesh with a soft, dry cloth to remove debris. Also, try a different set of eartips for a better seal, which improves bass and volume.

How do I update the firmware?

Download the JBL Headphones app from your app store. Connect your earbuds and follow the on-screen instructions to check for and install firmware updates.
