What type of detergent should I use?
Use a dishwasher detergent (powder, gel, or tablets) suitable for automatic dishwashers. Adjust the amount based on water hardness.
Why is the dishwasher not starting?
Check that the door is closed properly, the power is on, and the water supply is open. Also ensure the child lock is disabled.

  • Do not operate the machine in rooms with a temperature of below 5°C. This can cause damages to parts of it. If it is unavoidable, make sure to drain the water completely from the appliance after every use (see "Maintenance - Cleaning of drain pump filter") to avoid damages caused by frost.
  • Never use flammable sprays or substances in the immediate proximity of the appliance.
  • This washing machine is for indoor use only.
  • It is not intended for built-in use.
  • The washing machine with single inlet valve only can be connected to the cold water supply.
  • The plug must be accessible after installation.
  • The power cord should be firmly contacted with the socket or else fires might be caused. Do not pull or bend the power cable.
  • Remove all packages and transport bolts before using the appliance. Otherwise, serious damage may result.

Operating the appliance!

  • Before washing clothes for the first time, run the product through one complete cycle without any clothes inside.
  • Before using the washing machine, the product must be calibrated.
  • Do not place any excessively heavy objects on the appliance, such as water containers or heating devices.

  • Maximum inlet water pressure: 1 MPa. Minimum inlet water pressure: 0.05 MPa.
  • Flammable, explosive, or toxic solvents are forbidden.
  • Gasoline and alcohol, etc., must not be used as detergents.
  • Only select detergents suitable for machine washing, especially for drum machines.
  • Make sure all pockets are emptied. Sharp and rigid items such as coins, brooches, nails, screws, or stones may cause serious damage to this machine.
  • Check that the water inside the drum has been drained before opening the door. Do not open the door if any water is visible.
  • Be careful of burns when the product drains hot washing water.
  • Never refill water by hand during washing.
  • After the program is completed, please wait for two minutes to open the door.

The unit must stand upright and in the plane of the floor. Use two adjustable feet to adjust the device.

Vivax WTL-120715B - Caution! - 1

Note

  • As for the agglomerated or ropy detergent or additive, before they are poured into the detergent box, it is suggested to use some water for dilution to prevent the inlet of detergent box from being blocked and overflowing while filling water.
  • Please choose suitable type of detergent for the various washing temperature to get the best washing performance with less water and energy consumption.
  • To achieve the best cleaning result a proper detergent dosing is important. ■ Use a reduced detergent amount if the drum is not filled completely. ■ Always adjust the amount of detergent to the water hardness, if your tap water is soft, use less detergent.
  • Dose according to how dirty your laundry is, less dirty clothes require less detergent.
  • Highly concentrated (compact detergent) requires particularly accurate dosing.

Following symptoms are a sign of detergent overdosing:

  • heavy foam formation
  • poor washing and rinsing result

Following symptoms are a sign of detergent underdosing:

  • laundry turns grey
  • built-up of limescale deposits on the drum, the heating element and/or the laundry

  • The values given for programmes other than the ECO 40-60 programme are indicative only. • For EU Countries: Concerning EN 60456:2016/prA2019 with (EU)2019/2014, (EU)2019/2023, the EU energy efficiency class is: D. Energy test program: ECO 40-60. Other as default. Half load for 7.0 kg machine: 3.5 kg. Quarter load for 7.0 kg machine: 2.0 kg.

1) The highest temperature reached by the laundry in the wash cycle for at least 5 minutes. 2) Residual moisture after the wash cycle in water content percent and the spin speed at which this was achieved. 3) The ECO 40-60 programme is able to clean normally soiled cotton laundry declared to be washable at 40°C or 60°C, together in the same cycle. This programme is used to assess compliance with regulation (EU) 2019/2023.

The most efficient programmes in terms of energy consumption are generally those that perform at lower temperatures and longer duration.

Loading the household washing machine up to the capacity indicated for the respective programmes will contribute to energy and water savings.

Noise and remaining moisture content are influenced by the spinning speed: the higher the spinning speed in the spinning phase, the higher the noise and the lower the remaining moisture content.

Caution!

- If there is any break in the power supply while the machine is operating, a special memory stores the selected programme and when the power is restarted, the program will continue.

Vivax WTL-120715B - Cleaning the Drain Pump Filter: - 5

Warning:

■ Be careful of the hot water! Allow water inside the machine to cool down. ■ Unplug the machine to avoid electrical shock before cleaning. The drain pump filter can filter small foreign matters from the washing, but larger particles can get stuck in the filter and block water drainage. Clean the filter periodically every 6 months, or if you find that the filter is blocked, to ensure the normal operation of the washing machine.

Vivax WTL-120715B - Warning: - 1

Caution!

  • Please insert the drain plate, aligning it with the hole, to collect drain water when you remove the filter, because water may leak after you remove the filter cap.
  • When the appliance is in use and depending on the programme selected, there can be hot water in the pump. Never remove the pump cover during a wash cycle; always wait until the appliance has finished the cycle and is empty. When replacing the cover, ensure it is securely re-tightened.
