Frequently Asked Questions - Dragon 4 Pro TRDX40820E DELONGHI

How do I clean my De'Longhi Dragon 4 Pro heater?
Always unplug the heater and let it cool completely. Wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use water, detergents, or abrasive cleaners. For the fins, use a damp cloth and dry immediately.
What should I do if the heater does not turn on?
Check that the power cord is firmly plugged in and the wall outlet is working. Ensure the thermostat is set to a temperature higher than room temperature. If it still doesn't work, the tip-over switch may be activated or the overheat protection has tripped; reset by turning off and unplugging for 10 minutes.
Can I leave the heater unattended overnight?
It is not recommended to leave the heater unattended while sleeping. However, the Dragon 4 Pro has overheat protection and a tip-over switch for safety. If you must use it, place it on a stable, non-flammable surface away from curtains.
Why is the heater making a clicking noise?
Clicking sounds are normal as the metal fins expand and contract during heating and cooling cycles. This is not a defect.
How often should I replace the fuse?
If the heater stops working, check the plug fuse first. Replace with a 13A fuse of the same type. If it blows again frequently, consult a qualified electrician.
Does the heater have a remote control?
No, the Dragon 4 Pro TRDX40820E does not include a remote control. It is operated manually via the front panel controls.
What room size is this heater suitable for?
The recommended room size is up to 25 m². For larger rooms, consider a higher wattage model or use additional heating.
Can I use an extension cord with this heater?
Avoid using extension cords if possible. If necessary, use a heavy-duty cord rated at least 13A and fully unwind it. Never use a damaged cord.
How do I reset the overheat protection?
Turn the heater off and unplug it. Wait 10-15 minutes for the internal thermostat to cool down. Plug it back in and turn it on. If it trips again, check for airflow obstructions.
Is it safe to use the heater in a bathroom?
No, the Dragon 4 Pro is not IP-rated for bathroom use. Keep it away from water and humid environments. Use only in dry indoor areas.
