Frequently Asked Questions - IAN 110713 AURIOL

How to change the batteries of my Auriol IAN 110713 scale?
Open the battery compartment located under the scale, remove the old batteries and insert two new AAA batteries respecting polarity (+/-). Close the cover.
What to do if the screen displays 'Err'?
The 'Err' message generally indicates overload. Check that you are not exceeding the maximum capacity of 180 kg. If the problem persists, remove the batteries and reinsert them after 10 seconds.
How to switch between kg, lb, and st units?
Press the button under the scale (or on the back) labeled 'UNIT' or 'kg/lb' to switch between units. The selected unit blinks on the screen.
My scale displays a different weight each time I weigh, what to do?
Make sure the scale is placed on a hard, flat surface. Avoid thick carpets. Step gently onto the center of the platform and stand still until the weight stabilizes.
How to clean my scale?
Clean the glass platform with a soft, slightly damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use abrasive cleaners. Never place the scale under running water.
Can I use the scale on a carpet?
It is not recommended to use the scale on thick carpet as this may affect measurements. For better accuracy, place it on a hard, flat floor such as tile or hardwood.
How to know if the batteries are low?
The screen shows a low battery symbol or the display becomes dimmer. Replace the batteries as soon as possible to ensure accurate measurements.
The scale does not turn on, what to check?
Check that the batteries are inserted correctly and that they are new. If the problem persists, clean the battery contacts with a dry cloth. If nothing works, contact customer service.
What is the battery life?
With normal use (one weighing per day), the batteries last about 6 to 12 months. Always turn off the scale after use to save energy.
