How do I scan a document to a network folder?

Place the document on the glass or in the feeder, then on the touch screen select 'Scan', choose 'Folder', and enter the network path (SMB, FTP, or NCP). You can also use a predefined icon via GlobalScan NX.

What to do in case of a paper jam?

Open the front and rear covers indicated on the screen. Gently remove the jammed paper following the guided animations. Check the trays and the duplex path. Close all covers until they click.

How do I replace the toner?

Open the front cover. Pull the lock lever of the empty toner, remove it. Insert the new toner by pushing until it clicks. Close the cover. The screen confirms the installation.

How do I set up scan to email?

On the control panel, go to 'Scanner Settings' > 'Email'. Enter the SMTP address, enable POP authentication if necessary. Then, from the home screen, press 'Scan' > 'Email', enter the address and start scanning.

Can I print from a smartphone?

Yes, via the network interface. The printer supports TCP/IP protocol and Ethernet connections. Use compatible third-party applications or print via a print server. Bluetooth connection is available as an option.

How do I lock printer access?

Enable user authentication in the settings. You can use Windows® authentication or a PIN code. Data on the hard drive can be protected by encryption, and the Data Overwrite Security Unit erases temporary data.

What paper sizes are supported?

The printer accepts sizes from A6 to A3 in the trays and the bypass tray. Paper weight ranges from 60 to 256 g/m² in trays and bypass, and 60 to 169 g/m² for duplex.

How do I make a two-sided copy?

On the touch screen, press 'Copy', then select 'Duplex'. Choose the desired mode (1->2 sides or 2->2 sides). The printer automatically turns the pages.

What to do if the printer displays 'Maintenance required'?

Contact your authorized technician. You can temporarily extend use by disabling the alert in settings, but it is recommended to call a professional to replace wearing parts.

How do I save energy with this device?
