The ONT provides multiple device management functions such as restorings some of the configuration data, local upgrade, configuration backup, FTP server, device reboot, and NTP time calibration.

- Click Restore and then click OK in the alert box that appears. Wait until the configurationdataarecompletelyrestored.
3.6.2.2 Local Upgrade
SelectthelocalfileandupgradetheONTsoftware.Duringupgrade,donotpoweroffthedeviceorperformotheroperationstoppreventdamagetothedevice.
- Select Management in the navigation bar. Select Device Management→LocalUpgradefromtheleftlinkbartoopenthelocalupgradepage,asshown inFigure3-43.

- ClickBrowse.Inthedialogboxthatappears,selectthedevicesoftware versiontobeupgradedandclickOpentougradetheONTsoftwareversion.
- Whentheupgradesucceeds, thepagewillpromptfordevicerebooting. Click "Reboot". Afterrebooting, thedevicewillbeupgradedtothenewversion.

3.6.2.3ConfigurationBackup

- Check whether the computer is set with a fixed IP address. If yes, modify the configurations that the computer can obtain an IP address automatically. Then retry the connection.
- If the computer is obtaining IP addresses automatically, check whether the computer has obtained an IP address in thenetwork segment of 192.168.x.x.
- Contact the personnel in the network management center to check whether the WAN is connected correctly and bound with the LAN port.
4.7 Measured Internet Access Rate Lower or Higher Than The Standard Value
Contact the personnel in the network management center to check whether the bandwidth profile is configured correctly and bound to the ONT.
4.8ConnectiontolPTVFailed
Handle the problem according to the procedures below:
- Check whether the STB is connected to the ONT port correctly and configured with IPTV account number and password correctly.
- ContactthenetworkmanagementcentertocheckwhethertheIPTVservice workorderhasbeendelivered.

4.9IPTVPictureSuspended
