■ Never operate the appliance without the dust container and filter.
Do not use the appliance if the air duct and the ventilation slot are blocked. Always keep the air ducts and ventilation slot free of dirt, hair and any other elements which could obstruct or block the air flow.

■ Never use the appliance if it is visibly damaged. This also applies if the appliance has become accidentally wet. Please contact your specialist dealer if this is the case.
■ Only use the power supply unit supplied to charge the appliance.
- Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
■ Only store the appliance in a dry, safe place.
- Do not open the appliance under any circumstances. No warranty claims are accepted for damage resulting from improper handling.

Charging unit

You can set up the charging unit G anywhere where there is a power supply available.

Charging

Check if the type plate on the power supply unit corresponds to your local mains supply.

1 Press the B button to switch off the device.

2 Fit the appliance exactly into the charging unit G.

Note

■ Make sure that the charging contacts I of the charging unit are congruent with the contacts F on the appliance.

3 Plug the power cord into the socket J on the charging unit.

4 Plug the power supply unit into the socket. - The charging begins and the charging display Ⓗ lights up red.

Notes

  • Charge up the battery completely (14 - 16 hours) before you first use it or if you have not used it for a long time.
  • Charge the appliance at room temperature. Low or high temperatures will affect the service life of the battery.
    ■ The ambient temperature should be between 5 °C and 40 °C.
    ■ When fully charged, the appliance works for around 15 minutes. It is not advisable to charge the batteries after each use. Particularly if it has not been used for the full 15 minutes operating time. Only charge the batteries when they are completely discharged. This increases their service life. Do not charge them every day.
    ■ The power supply unit and the charging unit heat up while charging. This is totally normal.
    ■ The charging unit has a blue LED light which lights up when the charging unit is connected to the mains with the power supply unit.

Switching on and off and use

1 Remove the appliance from the charging unit G.
2 Press the switch B to turn on the appliance.
3 Do the vacuuming required.
4 Press the switch B again to turn off the appliance.

Emptying and cleaning the dust container

1 Press the switch B to turn off the appliance.
2 Hold the appliance upright with the suction intake facing downwards.
3 Release the dust container E and remove by turning clockwise.

4 Remove the filter D from the dust container.

Note

■ Wash the filter with warm soapy water occasionally. Leave it to dry completely after washing.
5 Empty the dust container E and clean with a damp cloth if necessary.

Note

  • Leave the dust container to dry completely before you insert it again.
    6 Insert the filter D into the dust container again.
    7 Relace the dust container E by turning it anti-clockwise until it locks into place.

Cleaning and care

  • Do not clean the appliance with chemical cleaning agents. This could damage the housing.
    ■ Only clean the appliance with a damp cloth and a mild detergent.
    ■ Brush out the filter over a dustbin.
    ■ Wash the filter and the inside of the dust container. Do not wash the filter in the washing machine.
    ■ The filter and dust container must be completely dry before they are used again.

Environmental note

This product is manufactured from high-quality parts and materials which can be reused and recycled.

Therefore, do not dispose of the product along with normal household waste at the end of its service life. Take it to a collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. This is indicated by this symbol on the product, in the operating manual and on the packaging.
