USER MANUAL MT 2600 TONDEUSE NEZ OREILLES GRUNDIG
Please note the following information when using the appliance:

The appliance is designed for domestic use only.
- Never use the appliance in the bath, shower or over a washbasin filled with water; nor should it be operated with wet hands.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water or let it come into contact with water, even during cleaning.
- Only use the appliance on clean, dry skin. You should not apply any cream or lotion to the skin.
This appliance should only be used for removing hair in the nostrils, in the ear opening, between the eyebrows and under the side or rear hair line. Any other use is expressly prohibited.
- Avoid contact with hair on your head and eye lashes, and also clothes, brushes, cables, laces, etc.
- Do not use the appliance if you suffer from acne, excema or any other skin irritations. Do not use the appliance on inflamed skin.
Inflammation of the skin is often caused by invasive bacteria. Clean the head of the trimmer before and after every use.
The appliance should only be used by one person to avoid spreading germs.
- Never use the appliance if it is visibly damaged.
- Keep the appliance away from children.
- Never open the appliance under any circumstances.
- No warranty claims are accepted for damage caused by incorrect handling.
Environmental note
This product has been made from high-quality parts and materials which can be re-used and recycled.
Therefore, do not throw the product away with normal household waste at the end of its life. Take it to
a collection point for recycling electrical and electronic devices. This is indicated by this symbol on the product, in the operating manual and on the packaging.

Information on batteries

Controls
A Detachable cap.
Blade heads.
C Sliding switch for on and off.
Catch for removing the blade heads.
Handle and detachable housing for the battery.
Power supply
The appliance operates with a 1 x 1.5 V, LR 03/ AM 4/ AAA battery.
1 Remove for the battery and turn the handle to the left slightly, then pull it.
2 Insert a battery in the housing with its positive terminal facing upwards.
3 Put the housing back on the trimmer and turn it slightly to the right until it clicks.
Note
Take out the batteries when you know that the device will not be used for a long period of time. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage resulting from leaking batteries.
Special features
This appliance is equipped with a patented safety system which prevents cuts or skin irritations.

Switching on and off
1 Remove the cap A.
2 Push the sliding switch forwards to switch on the appliance.
3 To switch off, push back the sliding switch C.
4 Clean the trimmer and put the cap A back on.
Trimming nose hair
1 Insert the blade head B into your nostrils slightly.
2 Turn the trimmer around slightly to cut the unwanted hair.
Note
- Do not insert the blade head too deeply into your nostrils.

Trimming ear hair
1 Put the blade head into the opening of your ear.
Note
Only use in the opening of your ear. Do not insert.
2 Turn the trimmer around slightly to cut the unwanted hair.
3 Remove the hair on the outer edge of the ear with one side of the trimmer.

Trimming side or rear hair line
1 Position the blade heads at the point under the hairline.
Note
Avoid any contact with thick hair growth on the head.
2 Remove the hair under the hair line with one side of the trimmer.

Note
- You can also remove hair between the eyebrows.
Cleaning and care
1 Remove hair remaining on the blade heads with one of the cleaning brushes after every use.
2 Remove other residues using a cotton-wool ball which you have soaked in alcohol and squeezed out.
Note
Make sure you have squeezed out the cotton-wool well and that it is dry. Only use alcohol as a cleaning agent.

This product fulfils the European directives 2004/108/EG and 2006/95/EG.
