a. The apparatus should not be exposed to dripping or splashing or placed in a humid atmosphere such as a bathroom.
b. Do not install the product in the following areas:

Operate the product only as instructed in this manual.
Before turning on the power for the first time, make sure the power adaptor is properly connected.
For safety reasons, do not remove any covers or attempt to gain access to the inside of the product. Refer any servicing to qualified personnel.
Do not attempt to remove any screws, or open the casing of the unit; there are no user serviceable parts inside. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Read Instructions - All the safety and operating instructions must be read before the product is operated.

- Power sources - This product should be operated only from the type of power source indicated by the marking adjacent to the power cord entry. If you are not sure of the type of power supply to your home, consult your product dealer or local power company.
- Grounding or polarization - the product is not required to be grounded. Ensure that the plug is fully inserted into the wall outlet or extension cord receptacle to prevent blade or pin exposure. Some versions of the product are equipped with a power cord fitted with a polarized alternating line plug (a plug having one blade wider than the other). This plug will fit onto the power outlet only one way. This is a safety feature. If you are unable to insert the plug fully into the outlet, try reversing the plug. If the plug should still fail to fit, contact your electrician to replace your obsolete outlet. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug. - Heat - The product should be situated away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other products, including amplifiers that produce heat. No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the apparatus.
- Water and moisture - To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose the product to rain, dripping, splashing or excessive moisture such as in a sauna or bathroom. Do not use this product near water, for example, near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, in a wet basement or near a swimming pool (or similar).
- Object and Liquid Entry - Never push objects of any kind into this product through openings, as they may touch dangerous voltage points or short circuit parts that could result in a fire or electric shock. Never spill liquid of any kind on the product. Do not place any object containing liquid on top of the product.
- Cleaning - Unplug the product from the wall outlet before cleaning. Dust in the woofer may be cleaned with a dry cloth. If you wish to use an aerosol cleaning spray, do not spray directly on the cabinet; spray onto the cloth. Be careful not to damage the drive units.
- Attachments - Do not use attachments not recommended by the product manufacturer, as they may cause hazards.
- Accessories - Do not place this product on an unstable cart, stand, tripod, bracket or table. The product may fall, causing serious injury to a child or adult, and serious damage to the product. Use only with a cart, stand, tripod, bracket or table recommended by the manufacturer or sold with the product. Any mounting of the product should follow the manufacturer's instructions and should use a mounting accessory recommended by the manufacturer.
- Moving the product - A product and cart combination should be moved with care. Quick stops, excessive force and uneven surfaces may cause the product and cart combination to overturn.
- Unused periods - The power cord of the appliance should be unplugged from the outlet during lightning storms or when the apparatus is left unused for a long period of time.
- Servicing - Do not attempt to service this product yourself, as opening or removing covers may expose you to dangerous voltage or other hazards. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
- Please remove the power plug from the main power source or wall power source when not in use. When plugged in to a power source, the system is in standby mode, so the power is not entirely cut off.
- Replacement parts - When replacement parts are required, ensure that the service technician has used replacement parts specified by the manufacturer or have the same characteristics as the original part. Unauthorized substitutions may result in fire, electric shock or other hazards.
- Mains fuses - For continued protection against fire hazard, use fuses only of the correct type and rating. The correct fuse specification for each voltage range is marked on the product.
- Do not turn up the volume while listening to a section with very low level inputs or no audio signals. If you do, the speaker may be damaged when a peak level section is suddenly played.
- The only means of completely disconnecting the product from the power supply is by removing the power cord from the wall outlet or the product. The wall outlet or the power cord entry to the product must remain freely accessible at all times while the product is in use.
- Try to install the product near a wall socket or extension cord and shall be easily accessible.
- The highest environmental temperature suitable for this product is 35°C.
- ESD hints - The normal function of the product may be disturbed by strong Electro-Magnetic Interference. If so, simply reset the product to resume normal operation by following the instruction manual. In case the function could not resume, please use the product in other location.
28. Battery
1). The batteries must not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.
2). The batteries should be drawn to the environmental aspects of battery disposal.
3). Battery usage CAUTION - to prevent battery leakage which may result in body injuries, property damage, or damage to the apparatus:
- Install all batteries correctly, + and - as marked on the apparatus.
- Do not mix batteries (old and new or carbon and alkaline, etc.)
- Remove batteries when the unit is not used for a long time.

ERP2 - (Energy Related Products) note
This product with ecodesign complies with the stage 2 requirements of Commission Regulation (EC) NO. 1275/2008 implementing Directive 2009/125/EC regard to standby and off mode electric power consumption of electronic household and office equipment. After 60 minutes without any audio input, the device will automatically switch into standby mode. Follow up the instruction manual to resume the operation.
Important note:
This device is equipped with an energy saving mode: if no signal is given during 60 minutes the device will switch automatically into standby mode in order to save energy (ERP 2 standard). Please note that low volume setting in the audio source may be recognized as "no audio signal": this will affect the capability of signal detection from the device and can also originate an automatic switch into standby mode. If this happens please reactivate the audio signal transmission or increase the volume setting on the audio source player (MP3 player, etc.), in order to resume playback. Please contact the local service center if the problem remains.
Warning
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- To prevent possible hearing damage, do not listen at high volume levels for long time periods respectively a sudden high volume level.

- Never use the device unsupervised! Switch off the device whenever you are not using it, even if this only for a short while.
- The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote control system.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- Before operating this system, check the voltage of this system to see if it is identical to the voltage of your local power supply.
- The unit should not be impeded by covering the ventilation opening with items such as newspaper, table-cloths, curtains etc. Make sure that there are at least 20 cm of space above and at least 5 cm of space on each side of the unit.
- The apparatus must not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that objects filled with liquids, such as vases, must not be placed on the apparatus.
- To prevent fire or shock hazard, do not expose this equipment to hot places, rain, moisture or dust.
- Do not locate this unit near any water sources e.g. taps, bathtubs, washing machines or swimming pools. Ensure that you place the unit on a dry, stable surface.
- Do not place this unit close to a strong magnetic field.
- Do not place the unit on a amplifier or receiver.
- Do not place this unit in a damp area as the moisture will affect the life of electric components.
- If the system is brought directly from a cold to a warm location, or is placed in a very damp room, moisture may condense on the lens inside the player. If this occurs, the system will not operate properly. Please leave the system turned on for about an hour until the moisture evaporates.
- Do not attempt to clean the unit with chemical solvents as this might damage the finish. Wipe with a clean, dry or slightly damp cloth.
- When removing the power plug from the wall outlet, always pull directly on the plug, never pull on the cord.
- The mains plug is used as the disconnect device, and the disconnect device must remain readily operable.
COMPACT DISC MAINTENANCE
- Always use a compact disc bearing the mark as shown.
- Notes on handling discs
- Store discs in their case when not in use.
- Do not touch the reflective recorded surface.
- Do not stick paper or write anything on the surface.

- Storage
- Store the disc in its case.
- Do not expose discs to direct sunlight or high temperatures, high humidity, or dusty environments.
- Cleaning a disc
- Should the disc become soiled, wipe off dust, dirt and fingerprints with a soft cloth.
- The disc should be cleaned by wiping in a straight line from the center to the edge.

-Never use benzene, thinners, record cleaner fluid or anti-static spray.
-Be sure to keep the CD compartment door closed when not in use to keep it clean from dust and other contaminants.
-Do not touch the lens.

Audio system connection
Connect the satellite speaker to the main unit output terminal with their attached speaker wire. (white color speaker wire to "+" symbol jack, black color speaker wire to "-" symbol jack).

Remote control battery installation
Insert the batteries into the remote control. Point the remote control at the remote sensor on the front panel. The remote control works within a distance of about 8 metres from the sensor and within an angle of about 30 degrees from the left and right side.
Battery Installation
1-Remove the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
2-Load two AAA/1.5V batteries into the battery compartment making sure that the batteries have been inserted with the correct polarities matching the symbols +, - as indicated inside the battery compartment.
3-Replace the cover.



Note:
-Remove the batteries when you do not intend to use the remote control for a long time. -Do not mix new and used batteries, or different types of batteries. -Weak batteries can leak and severely damage the remote control. -The batteries must not be exposed to excessive heat source, such as sunshine, fire or any other things like that. -Be environmentally friendly and dispose of batteries according to your government regulations.

Basic operation and CD playback
Push the CD cover will open up the CD compartment, load a CD disc and reference below for basic operation.
STANDBY button: press to switch on the unit. Press it again to put the unit in standby mode.
USB button: Press to enter USB playback mode.
CD button: press to enter CD mode.
FM button: press to enter FM radio mode.
SOURCE button: press repeatedly to select a signal source among CD, USB, LINE IN, Bluetooth, and FM radio.
1~10+ digits button: the digit keys can be used to input numbers or make selections such as a track.
AUTO/STOP button: press to stop playback.
PLAY/PAUSE button: press to temporarily pause playback, press again to resume. Press and hold (3 seconds) to disconnect from your Bluetooth device.
NEXT FAST FORWARD button: press to skip to the next track; press and hold for fast forward selection.
PREVIOUS FAST REWIND button: press to return to the previous track; press and hold for fast rewind selection.
VOL + button: press to turn up the volume.
VOL- button: press to turn down the volume.
PROGRAM button: in stop mode, press PROGRAM button and input a number to select a track, press PROGRAM button again to confirm, then press PLAY/PAUSE button to play (for CD disc only). The CD program memory will be cleared if you switch the play source or remove the CD disc.
MUTE button: press to temporarily switch off the sound, press again to switch it on.
RANDOM button: press to switch to random play mode in CD and USB mode.
REPEAT button: press to switch between repeat one, repeat all, repeat album, and normal play mode.
SLEEP button: press repeatedly to select a sleep time and choose option SLEEP OFF to disable the sleep function. After the set time, the unit will go into standby mode automatically.
INTRO button: press to preview the tracks of the CD disc in order, taking approximately 10 seconds for each track.
EQ button: press to switch between FLAT, JAZZ, CLASSIC, ROCK, and POP sound effect modes.
ALB+/- button: press it to skip the folder (only available for MP3 disc and USB mode).
Bluetooth operation:
Press the SOURCE button repeatedly to switch to Bluetooth mode. The display will show "Blue". Turn on Bluetooth function on your device like start phone etc. Please check the Bluetooth list and select "BLAUPUNKT MS10BT". The display will show "connected" after paired successfully. Select the music from your device and start the playback.
Note:
a. The Bluetooth working distance is within 10 meters. b. Please input "0000" in case of POP password input requirement.
c. Press and hold the "PLAY/PAUSE" button (3 seconds) to disconnect the Bluetooth connection.
d. The PLAY/PAUSE, MUTE, NEXT, PREVIOUS, VOL + and VOL – buttons are active in Bluetooth mode, you can press them to achieve the function.

FM radio operation
The following buttons are used in FM radio mode. Press the SOURCE button repeatedly to enter the FM radio mode.
ST/MONO button: press it to switch the speaker output between the mono and stereo reception of the broadcast signal in FM mode.
TUN+/- button: Press it to increase or decrease the frequency step by step; press and hold (2 seconds) and release it to auto scan the FM radio station.
AUTO/STOP button: press and hold (2 seconds) and release it to auto scan and save the FM radio station.
MEMORY button: When you tune an available FM station, press the MEMORY button once to show "PX.." on display; then press "PREVIOUS" or "NEXT" button to select the preset station number, press the "MEMORY" button again for confirmation.
1~10+ digits button: The digit keys can be used to select a preset station. For example, press [2] to select channel 2; press [10+] first, then press [1] and [5] to select channel 15.
NEXT button: Press it to skip to the next preset station.
PREVIOUS button: Press to skip to the previous preset station.
NOTE:
- In FM mode, [VOLUME+/-] and [MUTE] buttons are also active. For details, please refer to the introduction of the CD operation in this chapter.
- For better FM reception, fully extend the FM antenna. Also, try moving the unit next to a window for better signal reception.
USB playback
Insert a USB drive into the USB port, then press the [USB] button on the remote control to enter USB playback mode. The unit will automatically read and play MP3 music from the USB storage device.
Note:
a. If the player malfunctions when you insert a USB drive, turn off the player, disconnect the power cord from the AC outlet, and unplug the USB drive. Then power on the player again. The player will resume normal operation. b. Using an extension USB cable is not recommended, as it may affect signal transfer and cause intermittent sound.
c. The maximum supported USB storage capacity is 32 GB.
d. The previous fast rewind/next fast forward, repeat, random, and ALB+/- buttons are active in USB playback mode. Press them to access the corresponding functions.
e. You can press the digit keys to quickly select and play a track.
LINE IN
This unit includes a 3.5mm stereo line-in jack. You can connect external devices such as a CD player, MP3 player, etc., using a 3.5mm stereo audio cable. Then select and play music from your device.
Troubleshooting
Before resorting to maintenance service, please kindly check by yourself with the following chart.
No Power
-The AC power cord is not connected to the power supply or is not connected to a power supply securely.
-Please check that the AC power cord is connected securely.
Sound: There is no sound or the sound is distorted.
-The audio cables aren't connected securely.
-The volume is set to the minimum level.
-The sound is switched off.
-Connect the audio cables securely.
-Turn up the volume.
-Press [MUTE] on the remote control to switch on the sound.
-Press [PLAY/PAUSE].
Unable to play a disc
-This disc is placed in the disc tray in a wrong way.
-The unit isn't compatible with the disc.
-The disc is dirty.
-Check that the disc is placed in the disc tray with its label side upwards.
-Clean the disc.
The player breaks down when a USB drive is inserted into the player.
-The connected USB drive is probably not a certified one.
-The player cannot play any uncertified USB drive. In case the player breaks down, turn it off, disconnect the power cord from the AC outlet and unplug the USB drive from the player. Then, power on the player again. The player will resume the normal status.
The buttons on the unit don't work.
-The unit is being interfered with static electricity, etc.
-Switch off and unplug the unit. Then connect the plug to the power supply and switch it on again.
The remote control does not function.
-There is no battery in the remote control.
-The batteries are out of charge.
-The remote control isn't pointed to the remote sensor.
-The remote control is out of its operating area.
-The unit is shut down.
-Install two AAA/1.5V batteries in it.
-Replace the batteries with new ones.
-Make sure that the remote control is pointed to the remote control sensor.
-Make sure the remote control is within the operating area.
-Switch off the unit and disconnect it from the AC outlet. Then power on the unit again.
