What is the maximum load capacity?
The maximum load capacity is 300 kg. Do not exceed this limit to preserve the brakes and structure.
How to transport the motorized wheelbarrow on a vehicle?
Empty the petrol tank, close the tap, and securely fasten the machine with straps on the designated anchor points. Use a ramp for loading.
Is regular maintenance required?
Yes, after each use: clean the air filter, check the oil level, and grease the pivot points. Every 50 hours: oil change and spark plug replacement.
What to do if the engine does not start?
Check the fuel level, that the spark plug is clean and well connected, that the choke is in the correct position, and that the parking brake is engaged. If the problem persists, consult an authorized repairer.

Technical data

WARNING: The vibration emission level will vary because of the ways in which a power tool can be used and may increase above the level given in this information sheet.

The vibration emission level may be used to compare one tool with another.

It may be used for a preliminary assessment of exposure.

An accurate estimate of the vibratory load should also take into account the times when the tool is shut down or when it is running but not actually in use. This may significantly reduce the vibratory load over the total working period.

Identify additional safety measures to protect the operator from the effects of vibration such as: maintain the tool and the accessories, keep the hands warm, organisation of work patterns.

GUDE GRD 300/R - DE Commissioning - 98

GUDE GRD 300/R - DE Commissioning - 99

⚠ Damage to health arising from vibrations to hand and arms if the device is used for a long time or if the device is not guided and evaluated properly.

Vibration damping systems are no guaranteed protection against white finger disease or carpal tunnel syndrome. Therefore, it is necessary to carefully check the state of your fingers and wrist if you have regularly used the appliance for a long time. If any symptom of the diseases above appears, seek medical advice immediately. To reduce the white finger disease risk, keep your hands warm and take regular breaks during your work.

Safety instructions

GUDE GRD 300/R - Safety instructions - 1

WARNING

Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury. Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.

Read carefully the operating and maintenance instructions. Familiarise thoroughly with the controls and proper use of the appliance. You need to know how the appliance works and how controls can immediately be switched off.

Keep children and other persons including animals in a safe distance when using the appliance.

Minimum safe distance is 5 m.

Keep bystanders a safe distance away from work area. Anyone entering the work area must wear personal protective equipment.

Do not allow anybody to stand on the appliance.

Use protective equipment. Always wear safety glasses when working with the machine. The use of protective clothing is recommended, such as dust mask, protective gloves, sturdy non-slip footwear, helmet and ear defenders.

Protective glasses or a shield should always be used when operating, adjusting or repairing the appliance.

Check carefully the terrain where the appliance is being used and remove any items that could get caught and be thrown away. Being careful prevents slipping or falling, especially when reversing.

Poor lighting/light conditions represent a high safety risk. Provide adequate lighting or good lighting conditions when working with the machine.

Do not operate the machine in a confined space where the machine's operator is at risk of being trapped between the machine and other objects.

Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times.

Before work can begin, operators must familiarise themselves with the work site. Elements of the work site include, for example, obstacles around the site or in the surrounding traffic, the load bearing capacity of the earth and ensuring the construction site is safe and secured.

Safe operation requires sufficient operator knowledge of the functions and positions of the controls and indicators or meters. Pay attention to the illustrated pages in the front section of the manual.

The appliance should only be used when in a perfect state. Carry out a visual inspection before switching the appliance on. Check especially the safety equipment, electrical control elements, power lines and screw couplings for any damage and if they are tightened appropriately. Replace any damaged parts before the appliance is put into operation if necessary.

The appliance must not be used if damaged or safety equipment is defective. Replace any worn-out and damaged parts.

GUDE GRD 300/R - WARNING - 1

It is strictly prohibited to disassemble, modify and purposely remove the protective equipment on unit and fit other protective equipment instead.

No change can be made in respect of engine and unit setting.

Do not adjust the appliance when the engine is running (except for settings directly recommended by the manufacturer).

When working with this machine, do not use spare parts other than those recommended by us. Using spare parts not recommend by us can result in serious injuries to persons or damage to the machine.

Avoid any inadvertent starting of the engine. Make sure that the control lever is always in the 'Start' position when you pull the starter rope.

Switch the appliance off immediately after finishing your work.

Always operate the device with both hands during operation. Hold the steering bar with a firm grip.

Note that the machine can jump upwards or forwards unexpectedly if it encounters buried obstacles such as large stones.

Do not overload the machine.

Run it at a safe speed and adjust it to the average ground slope, road conditions, and the load to be transported.

Do not race when working with the appliance. Walk slowly and cautiously.

Pay maximum attention when turning around and pulling the appliance toward you.

Always be very careful when crossing over or driving on dirt roads, gravel roads, or country roads. Look out for hidden hazards or traffic.

Pay the greatest possible attention when working on frozen ground, as the machine may begin to slide in the process.

Always make sure that the weight is evenly distributed when driving on a slope, regardless of whether you are driving forwards or backwards. Always travel

in a direction parallel to the slope (upwards or downwards). To avoid hazards, do not shift gears whilst on a slope.

When the load is tilted from the dumper body, the center of gravity of the load changes constantly, and the ground conditions become a crucial factor for the stability of the machine. There are particular risks for track dumpers, which operate on soft ground and have a load, e.g., clay, stuck to the vehicle's body.

If the appliance starts abnormally vibrating, switch the engine off and search for the cause immediately. Generally, vibrations are a warning against operating failure.

Switch the engine off and unplug it if you are not working with the appliance or when leaving the appliance or adjusting, maintaining, or repairing it.

When cleaning, repairing and checking the appliance, make sure that the working screw/rotor and all moving parts are stopped.

Oil products must not come into contact with skin, eyes and clothing.

Operational safety instructions for snow plough blades

Snow should be removed only after adjusting the snow blower to the outdoor temperature when there are extreme temperature differences. Immediate snow removing could lead to premature wear of the drive shaft and other extensions such as the rubber flap.

Be extremely careful when running over or removing snow off brash entrances, footpaths and paths. Be prepared for unexpected risks or moving vehicles.

When you hit a foreign item, switch the engine off, disconnect the cable from the spark plug and check thoroughly the snow blower for any damage and remove it if necessary – the snow blower can be put into operation again and worked with now.

Do not remove snow across slopes. Be extremely careful when changing movement direction on slopes. Never try to remove snow on steep slopes.

Do not overload the appliance; do not try to remove snow too quickly.

Never use the appliance at a high travelling speed on a slippery surface. Be careful when reversing.

The snow blower must only be used when appropriate visibility or good lighting is provided. Stand fast on the ground and hold the handle tight by hands at all times. Walk, never run.

Transport and storage

Secure the device against shifting and toppling during transport.

Take care to prevent from fuel and oil leakage during transport.

Do not store the appliance in enclosed places just after being switched off but let it cool down outdoors instead.

Machine to be stored in a dry place. When the appliance is not going to be used for a long time, store it with an empty tank.

Set up the machine in such a way that it cannot move during maintenance, cleaning, adjustment, installation of accessories or spare parts, or storage.

Secure the machine to prevent it from rolling away.
