Yes, you can add a small amount of mouthwash to the water tank, but do not exceed a 1:1 ratio. Rinse the tank with clean water after use to avoid clogging.

Is the DIR501 waterproof?

How do I clean the water tank?

Start with the lowest pressure setting and gradually increase. Aim the tip at the gumline at a 90-degree angle. Reduce pressure if you feel discomfort.

BATTERY CHARGING

You should make sure the irrigator is turned off before you place it in the charging station.

Plug the charging station (9) into a power source. Place the irrigator in the charging station. The full charging process can take up to 24 hours. It is recommended to keep the irrigator in the charging station. The battery includes an overcharging-protection system.

When the device is charging its battery, the charging indicator blinks. When the battery is fully charged, When the battery is fully charged the indicator light will turn off.

USAGE

1. Put the replaceable nozzle (1) onto the body.

2. Fill the water container. The water amount can be supplemented in two ways: by moving the inlet cap (8), or by moving the whole water container down. Make sure the water temperature is not higher than 40 o C

3. Set the mode with the operating-mode change button

4. Keep the device in the vertical position and direct the nozzle onto the teeth and inter-dental spaces.

5. Keep your mouth open so that excess water can go out.

6. Push the start button (3) to clean the teeth with water.

7. When cleaning is over, turn off the device with the start button (3). It is not recommended to leave water in the container, due to bacteria and other microorganism development.

8. To remove the nozzle, push the nozzle-release button (2) and pull the nozzle up.

9. Place the device's body in the charging station.

CLEANING AND MAINTANANCE

Before cleaning the device, make sure that the charging station is disconnected from the power supply.

Wipe the charging station with a damp cloth and dry it.

Wipe the irrigator's body with a damp cloth and dry it.

Do not submerge the irrigator's station nor its body in water.
