When using the Vacuum Food Sealer, basic safety precautions should be observed. PLEASE READ AND SAVE ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THE VACUUM FOOD SEALER.

1. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children.
2. This Food Sealer can be used by children 8 years or older and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instrucon concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
3. Children should not play with the Food Sealer.
4. Cleaning and user maintenance should be handled by adults.
5. Improper use of the Food Sealer and its accessories may damage the appliance and cause injury.
6. Do not use your Food Sealer if it is not working properly or if the Sealer or power cord has been damaged. Please contact customer service.
7. It is not recommended to vacuum seal any liquids with this Food Sealer. It could result in an improper seal or damage to the Food Sealer.
8. Do not touch the sealing strip as it will become very hot.
9. Do not immerse Food Sealer in liquid at any me.

11. Unplug the Food Sealer from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning.

CAUTION: A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of personal injury resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Extension cords are available from local hardware stores and may be used if care is exercised in their use. If an extension cord is required, special care and cauon is necessary. Also the cord must be: (1) marked with an electrical rang of 125V, and at least 13 A., 1625 W., and (2) the cord must be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over accidentally.

Before rst use

1. Unpack the Food Sealer from the box.
2. Remove any unwanted packing materials such as cardboard or plasc covering.
3. Wipe clean all parts with a so damp cloth. Dry thoroughly. DO NOT IMMERSE THE FOOD SEALER IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.

How to use

*If using the bags (not roll) provided, start at #11.

1. Place Food Sealer on a hard, at surface.
2. If using the roll provided with the Food Sealer, cut the desired bag size from the roll.
3. If Top Cover (A) is locked into place, press the Release Buons (K) located on either side of the Food Sealer to open the cover.

4. Place the end of bag over the Lower Foam Seal (M), making sure the bag does not go past the Top Bag Guides (D1) or Side Bag Guides (D2).

5. Pull the Top Cover (A) down and press both sides down (where the hands are located) until you hear a clicking noise. This has locked the top cover into place.

6. Plug the Food Sealer into the electrical outlet.

7. Press the Seal Button (F). The Red Seal Indicator Light (E) will turn on. The Food Sealer will now seal the end of the bag closed. This should take approximately 5 seconds.

8. When sealing process is complete, the Red Seal Indicator Light (E) will turn o.

9. Press the Release Buons (K).

10. Carefully remove the bag as the Heat Sealing Strip (L) and seal on bag may sill be hot.

11. Place desired food in open end of bag.

12. Place the open end of the bag over the Seal Chamber (N), making sure the bag does not go past the Top Bag Guides (D1) or Side Bag Guides (D2).

13. Lock the top cover into place by pressing on the hand icons unl it clicks.

14. Press the Vacuum & Seal Buon (H). The Green Vacuum & Seal Indicator Light (I) will turn on and the vacuum pump will operate.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the vacuum pump, this vacuum/seal process has a louder noise than the sealing process.

1. When the vacuum sealing is complete the Red Seal Indicator Light (E) will turn on to seal the end of the bag.

2. Both Indicator Lights will turn o when the vacuum/seal process is complete.

3. Press the Release Buons (K) and carefully remove the bag.

4. During operaon, if you would like to stop the process, press the Stop Button (G).

5. To restart the process, please wait up to 10 seconds then press the Seal Buon (F) or Vacuum & Seal Buon (H). This protects the Heat Sealing Strip (L) from overheang.

6. Press the Release Buons (K) to remove the sealed bag.

Helpful hints

1. The Food Sealer is not meant to be used with liquids. If you are trying to seal something with liquid, this could damage the unit and may not seal properly.
2. Unplug the Food Sealer when not in use.
3. Allow about 30 seconds between each use.
4. Never aempt to open the lid during use.
5. Only heat-seal bags or rolls should be used. DO NOT USE PLASTIC HOUSEHOLD BAGS WITH THE FOOD SEALER.
6. Sealing should take about 5 seconds. Vacuum sealing should take between 15-30 seconds. If it is taking longer than the suggested me, press the STOP buon and allow it to cool.

Vacuum Sealer shut o and won't turn on again	The overload protecon may have acvated. Allow the vacuum sealer to cool by opening the top cover for approximately 20 minutes.
The bag melts	The vacuum sealer is intended to be used with only heat seal and vacuum seal bags. DO NOT USE PLASTIC HOUSEHOLD BAGS.Check the condion of the sealing bar.Open the top cover and allow the sealing bar to cool for 5-10 minutes. Always leave the top cover open between uses and allow at least 20 seconds between each use.
The bag seal pulls apart	If the seal has a crease in it, or if any liquid or powder has been trapped between the layers of the bag, the bag may not have sealed together properly. Cut o the seal and wipe the inside of the bag clean.Try vacuum sealing the bag again.
The vacuum pump starts, but air is not being removed from the bag	Be sure the top cover is locked.Be sure the bag is inserted properly and it is not covering the bag guides.The bag may have a small hole in it. Check for tears or punctures.If you are using a bag cut from a roll, double check the end of the bag is sealed.
Lock will not engage	Push down hard on the sides of the vacuum sealer where the hand icons are unl you hear a clicking noise.
Lid will not open	Press down top cover while simultaneously pressing release buons.

Cleaning and maintenance

CAUTION:

Always be sure that the Food Sealer is unplugged and completely cooled before cleaning or aempng to store the item. NEVER IMMERSE Food Sealer in water or any other liquid.

It is important to clean your Food Sealer thoroughly aer each use to prevent scky build ups that are dicult to clean later.

1. When performing any cleaning or maintenance to this unit, turn the unit of and be sure to unplug from power outlet rst.
2. Wipe the surface of the food sealer and seal chamber with a damp, so cloth.
3. DO NOT use any abrasive material to clean the surface.
4. DO NOT immerse the Food Sealer into water at any me.
