How do I fill the water tank?

Unscrew the water tank cap, fill with water up to the MAX level, and close the cap securely. Use distilled or demineralized water for best performance.

How do I use the steam function?

Set the temperature dial to the desired heat level (steam range). Wait for the iron to heat up (indicator light turns off). Then press the steam button to release steam. Use the steam boost for extra power.

What type of water should I use?

Use distilled or demineralized water to avoid scale buildup. Do not use water with additives or condensation water from dryers.

How do I clean the iron?

Use the self-clean function: fill tank, set to max temperature, unplug, hold over sink, press self-clean button until water flushes out. Repeat as needed.

Why is no steam coming out?

Check that the water tank is filled, the temperature dial is set to steam range, and the iron has heated up. If still no steam, allow a few minutes for the iron to reach temperature.

What does the auto shut-off feature do?

The iron automatically turns off after 8 minutes of inactivity (horizontal) or 30 seconds if tipped over. This safety feature prevents accidents.

How should I store the iron after use?

Empty the water tank, allow the iron to cool, and store it upright on its heel. Do not wrap the cord tightly around the iron.

How do I descale the iron?

Mix descaling solution with water according to instructions, fill tank, heat to max, and use steam bursts. Then rinse with clean water using self-clean function.

SAFETY NOTES

- After removing the appliance from its packaging, verify its integrity based on the drawing and the presence off any damage caused by transport. If in doubt, do not use the appliance and contact an authorised service centre.

CAUTION! Remove any communication material such as labels, tags etc. from the appliance before use.

WARNING! Risk of suffocation.

Children shall not play with the packaging. Keep the plastic bag out of reach of children.

• This appliance must be used only for the purpose for which it was designed, namely as a vented steam iron for home use. Any other use is considered not compliant with the intended use and therefore dangerous.
• This iron is not equipped with a pressure boiler and has been designed to be used for a brief period of time. For this reason it is recommended not to iron for more than an hour.
• Before connecting the appliance to the mains supply, make sure that the voltage and frequency indicated on the technical data of the appliance correspond to those of the mains supply. These technical data are present on the appliance or on the power supply unit, if any (see illustrative guide).
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

WARNING! Keep the iron and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years of age when it is energized or cooling down.

• DO NOT use the appliance with wet hands, damp feet or barefoot.
• DO NOT pull the supply cord or the appliance itself to remove the plug from the socket.
• DO NOT expose the appliance to humidity or atmospheric agents (rain, sun, etc.) or extreme temperatures.
• The appliance must not be left unattended when it is connected to the mains supply.

• Always disconnect the appliance from the mains supply before cleaning or performing maintenance and when the appliance is not in use.
• If the appliance is faulty or malfunctions, switch it off and do not tamper with it. Contact an authorised technical service centre for any repairs.
• If the supply cord is damaged it must be replaced by an authorised technical service centre, so as to prevent all risks.
• The electrical safety of this appliance is only guaranteed when it is connected correctly to an effective earthing system as required by applicable electrical safety standards. This important safety requirement must be verified before connecting the appliance to the mains supply. If in doubt request a thorough check of the system by a qualified technician.
• DO NOT immerse this appliance into water or other liquids.
• DO NOT leave this appliance in contact with fabric and surfaces that are easily flammable or can get damaged with heat.
• This appliance must be used and rested on a flat, stable surface.
• When placing the iron on its stand, ensure that the surface on which the stand is placed is stable.
• This appliance is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of damage or if it is leaking water.
• DO NOT use chemical additives, scented substances or descaling agents.
• The plug must be removed from the socket-outlet before the water reservoir is filled with water.

USE

WARNING! The iron must not be used if it is has been dropped, if there is visible damage or if it leaks water.

WARNING: TYPE OF WATER TO BE USED

Use only:

• demineralised water for iron.

WARNING! Do not pour diluting agents, scented liquids or descaling agents into the reservoir as the use of these substances can damage the product.

WARNING! Do not use water from dryers, air conditioners, water from tumble dryers, filtered water with water softeners and rain water.

The reservoir may contain some water as each product is tested before being put on the market.

Verify that the plug (13) is disconnected from the socket.

Set the steam selector (4) to 0 [Fig. B].

Open the latch (5).

Set the iron in a position that facilitates filling the water and prevents it from overflowing.

Slowly pour the water into the reservoir (10) using the special cup (14) [Fig. C].

Do not exceed the maximum (MAX) level indicated on the reservoir (8).

Close the hatch (5).

SWITCHING ON

Set the iron upright.

Insert the plug (13) in the socket.

Set the switch O/I (11) on position "I" to switch the iron on.

The plate temperature LED (1) switches on to indicate that the iron is warming up.

Wait for the plate temperature LED (1) to go off before starting to iron.

Intellivapor Technology

This steam iron is equipped with “IntelliVapor” technology, which allows you to iron any type of fabric without having to adjust the plate temperature.

Fabrics with the following symbols may be ironed:

synthetic fibres e.g. viscose, polyester

silk, wool

cotton, linen

Fabrics with the following symbols may not be ironed:

synthetic fibres e.g. viscose, polyester

It is recommended to place a cloth between the iron and the fabric when using the iron for the first time.

Before starting ironing, direct a jet of steam onto the cloth by lifting the iron slightly so that any residual condensation comes out.

ECO FUNCTION

The appliance is equipped with new technology that optimises steam production, thereby reducing energy consumption.

Set the steam selector (4) to ECO to activate the function.

IRONING WITHOUT STEAM (DRY)

Follow the instructions in the "steam ironing" section, leaving the steam selector (4) set to "0".

IRONING WITH STEAM

Select the amount of steam via the steam selector (4).

Move the steam selector (4) to any position between minimum and maximum according to the desired amount.

Continuous steam will only be dispensed when the iron is in a horizontal position.

This stops when the iron is set upright or the steam selector (4) is set to 0.

The plate temperature LED (1) flashes intermittently while ironing, thereby indicating that the temperature is maintained.

SUPER-STEAM AND VERTICAL STEAM

Press the super-steam button (3) ⚙️ to generate a strong shot of steam that is able to penetrate the fabric and remove the most difficult creases.

Wait a few seconds between each pressing action of the iron [Fig. D].

Press the super-steam button (3) intermittently to iron even in an upright direction (curtains, hung clothes, etc.) [Fig. E].

Stop using super-steam button (3) when the plate temperature LED (1) goes on and start ironing again when it goes off.

SPRAY FUNCTION

Verify that there is water in the reservoir (10).

Press the spray button (2) ⚙ slowly for dense spray or quickly for mist [Fig. F].

Dampen delicate fabric using the spray function or before ironing or alternatively, lay a damp cloth between the fabric an the iron. Do not use the spray function on silk or synthetics.

END OF USE

EMPTYING PROCESS

Set the switch O/I (11) on position "O" to switch the iron off.

Disconnect the plug (13) from the socket.

Open the latch (5).

Empty the reservoir (10) by turning the iron upside down and shaking it lightly.

Let the iron cool down completely.

Always set the iron upright.

NOTE: If the appliance is not to be used for several weeks, wait for the appliance to cool down completely before emptying the water reservoir completely, according to the instructions in the relevant chapter. When the appliance is switched on again, refill the reservoir as indicated in the relevant chapter.

MAINTENANCE

ZERO-CALC ANTI-SCALE SYSTEM

A special resin filter inside the water reservoir decreases the water hardness and limits the formation of limescale in the plate. The resin filter is permanent and cannot be replaced.

SELF CLEAN/CALC-CLEAN SYSTEM

The function allows the internal part of the plate to be cleaned from limescale residue or other impurities.

It is recommended to carry it out every 5-10 uses.

Fill the water reservoir (10) up to the maximum (MAX) level (8).

Set the steam selector (4) to 0.

Insert the plug (13) in the socket.

Set the O/I switch (11) to position "I" to switch the iron on and wait for the plate temperature control LED (1) to switch off.

Disconnect the plug (13) from the socket and place the iron in a horizontal position over a wash basin.

Press and hold the calc clean button (7). Boiling water, steam and any dirt and scaling will be ejected from the plate.

Once the iron plate has cooled down (9), clean it with a damp cloth.

WARNING! Make sure the plug of the appliance is disconnected from the socket and the plate has cooled down completely before cleaning the iron.

Any starch deposits or residue on the surface of the plate can be removed with a damp cloth and non-abrasive liquid detergent.

Avoid scratching the plate with steel wool or metal objects.

The plastic parts can be cleaned with a damp cloth and then wiped with a dry cloth.

TROUBLESHOOTING

This chapter describes the most common problems that can arise using the appliance. If the problems cannot be solved with the information below, please contact the Authorised Assistance Centre.

Problem Possible cause Solution
The plate (9) remains cold or does not heat up.	There is no power supply.	Verify whether the plug (13) is inserted correctly or try inserting it in another socket.
		Ensure the O/I switch (11) is in position "I".
The plate temperature LED (1) goes on and off.	Normal procedure.	The switching on and off of the LED indicates the heating stage of the iron.
Only a little steam or none at all is dispensed.	The steam selector (4) is set to 0.	Set the steam selector (4) to the desired field (Fig. B).
	There is not enough water in the reservoir (10).	Fill the reservoir (10).
The impurities that come out from the steam holes stain the garments.	Possible residue in the steam chamber/plate.	Carry out the Self Clean procedure (see paragraph Seal Clean/Calc-Clean System).
	Chemical additives, scented liquids or descaling agents are being used	These substances damage the product: do not add additives to the water in the reservoir.
	Starch is being used.	Always spray the starch on the reverse side of the fabric.
Water leaks from the plate (8).	The plate temperature is too low due to the super-steam button (3) being pressed too often	Allow slightly longer intervals between the jets of steam.

DISPOSAL

The product is packaged in recyclable materials. Dispose of it in compliance with the environmental protection standards.

Pursuant to Art. 26 of Italian Legislative Decree no. 49 of 14 March 2014 "Implementation of Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE)", the crossed bin symbol on the appliance or its packaging indicates that the product must be disposed of separately from other waste at the end of its useful life.

The user must therefore take the appliance to an appropriate recycling centre for electrical and electronic equipment.

Alternatively, instead of handling the disposal, the appliance can be handed over to the retailer when a new, equivalent appliance is purchased.

Retailers of electronic products having a sales area of at least 400 m2 can also be handed electronic products that are to be disposed of measuring less than 25 cm, free of charge and with no obligation to buy.

Appropriate separate collection for the subsequent procedure for the decommissioned appliance for recycling, which includes treatment and environmentally friendly disposal helps prevent adverse effects on the environment and health and promotes reusing and/or recycling materials that the appliance consists of.

ASSISTANCE AND WARRANTY

The appliance is guaranteed for a period of two years from the date of delivery. Evidence shall be taken as the date indicated on the receipt/invoice (provided it is legible), unless the buyer can prove that the delivery occurred later.

In the event of a defect in the product which existed prior to the date of delivery, appliance repair or replacement is guaranteed free of charge, unless one of the two solutions is

disproportionate to the other. The buyer has the obligation to notify an authorised Service Centre of the non-conformity within two months from discovering the defect.

The warranty does not cover any part that may be defective due to:

a. transport damage or accidental drops,
b. incorrect installation or an inadequate electrical system,
c. repairs or alterations made by unauthorised personnel,
d. poor or incorrect maintenance and cleaning,
e. product and/or product parts subject to wear and/or consumables,
f. failure to comply with the operating instructions and/or negligent or careless use,
g. the water used is different from that described in the manual,
h. thinner, scented liquids or descaling agents are used,
i. plate damage caused by ironing unsuitable fabrics or with inadequate temperatures for the fabric.

The list above is purely indicative and not exhaustive and in any case, this warranty shall not cover all circumstances that cannot be attributed to manufacturing defects of the appliance.

In addition, the warranty does not cover any case of improper use of the appliance and professional use.

All liability is disclaimed for any damage that may directly or indirectly be caused to persons, property and pets as a result of failure to comply with all the instructions provided in the "Instructions and Warnings Booklet" regarding appliance installation, use and maintenance. This is without prejudice to any contractual warranty claims against the seller.

Methods of support

Appliance repairs must be carried out by an authorised Service Centre. If the faulty appliance is under warranty, it must be sent to the Service Centre together with a fiscal document that can confirm the date of sale or delivery.
