What type of fluid should I use in the Light Package 2?

Use exclusively a water-based fluid specially designed for smoke machines. Oily fluids can damage the device.

How to clean the machine after use?

After 20 hours of use, run the machine with a cleaning fluid to remove residues. Empty and rinse the tank.

What to do if the machine does not produce smoke?

Check the fluid level, that the machine is hot (ready indicator on), and that the fuse has not blown. If the problem persists, contact customer service.

Can I use the machine outdoors?

No, the Light Package 2 is designed for indoor use only. Humidity and wind can affect its operation.

How to connect the remote control?

Plug the wired remote control into the CONTROL jack on the back of the machine. Use the button for continuous or burst smoke.

Does the machine get very hot?

Yes, the heating element reaches a high temperature. Do not touch the nozzle during use and let it cool down before storing.

What is the initial heat-up time?

Allow approximately 3 minutes for the indicator to change from red to green, indicating the machine is ready.

Can I use scented fluid?

Yes, as long as it is water-based and compatible with smoke machines. Avoid pure essential oils which may clog.

How to adjust the smoke volume?

The volume depends on the activation duration. The remote control allows short bursts or continuous flow. Some models offer DMX adjustment.

What to do in case of fluid leakage?

Thanks for your purchasing, please read this manual carefully before operating the system. It gives you general information for your safe and better operation.

Installation

• Firstly, be sure that the using voltage is match with the voltage marked on the base of the laser;
• Installation should be made by professional technician. fix the laser lighting and adjust the angle of the moving head to you need;
• Be sure that there is no flammable or explosive subject nearby. The least distance is 0.5 meters. at the same time, keep more than 15cm between the wall and laser

lighting;

• Please check whether the fan and the exhaust is blocked;
• There is a hole for connection. when hang the laser lighting, be sure the cable can undertake 10 times of the lighting weight;
  • The laser lighting should be fixed;
• It is essential to be earthed well for the sake of safety.

NON-INTERLOCKED HOUSING WARNING

This unit contains high power laser devices internally. Do not open the laser housing, due to potential exposure to unsafe levels of laser radiation. The laser power levels accessible if the unit is opened can cause instant blindness, skin burns and fires.

LASER SAFETY AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

STOP AND READ ALL LASER SAFETY DATA

Laser Light is different from any other light source with which you may be familiar. The light from this product can potentially cause eye injury if not set up and used properly. Laser light is thousands of times more concentrated than light from any other kind of light source. This concentration of light power can cause instant eye injuries, primarily by burning the retina (the light sensitive portion at the back of the eye). Even if you cannot feel “heat” from a laser beam, it can still potentially injure or blind you or your audience. Even very small amounts of laser light are potentially hazardous even at long distances. Laser eye injuries can happen quicker than you can blink. It is incorrect to think that because these laser entertainment products split the laser into hundreds of beams or laser beam is scanned out in high speed, that an individual laser beam is safe for eye exposure. This laser product uses dozens of mini Watts of laser power (Class 3B levels internally). Many of the individual beams are potentially hazardous to the eyes. It is also incorrect to assume that because the laser light is moving, it is safe. This is not true. Nor, do the laser beams always move. Since eye injuries can occur instantly, it is critical to prevent the possibility of any direct eye exposure. In the laser safety regulation, it is not legal to aim Class 3B lasers in areas which people can get exposed. This is true even if it is aimed below people’s faces, such as on a dance floor.

• Do not operate laser without first reading and understanding all safety and technical data in this manual
• Always set up and install all laser effects so that all laser light is at least 3 meters (9.8 feet) above the floor on which people can stand. See “Proper Laser Set-up & Usage” section later in this manual
• After set up, and prior to public use test laser to ensure proper function. Do not use if any defect is detected. Do not use if laser emits only one or two laser beams rather than dozens/hundreds, as this could indicate damage to the diffraction grating optic, and could allow emission of higher laser levels.
• Do not point lasers at people or animals
• Never look into the laser aperture or laser beams
• Do not point lasers in areas in which people can potentially get exposed, such as uncontrolled balconies, etc.
• Do not point lasers at highly reflective surfaces such as windows, mirrors and shiny metal. Even laser reflections can be hazardous.
• Never point a laser at aircraft, this is a federal offense
• Never point un-terminated laser beams into the sky
• Do not expose the output optic (aperture) to cleaning chemicals
• Do not use laser if the laser appears to be emitting only

• Do not use laser if housing is damaged or open, or if optics appear damaged in any way.
• Never open the laser housing. The high laser power levels inside of the protective housing can start fires, burn skin and will cause instant eye injury.
• Never leave this device running unattended.
• The operation of a class 3B laser show laser is only allowed if the show is controlled by a skilled and well-trained operator familiar with the data included in this manual.
• The legal requirements for using laser entertainment products vary from country to country. The user is responsible for the legal requirements at the location/country of use.
• Always use appropriate lighting safety cables when hanging lights and effects overhead
• Power off before installation or maintenance
• The danger class of this laser lighting is CLASS IIIB.
• It's dangerous for observing laser. The safe minimum distance is 13cm, the safe maximum time is 10 seconds
• Keep at least 0.5 meters distance between the lighting and flammable material

Maintenance

Please clean the lens regularly. Do not do it using the wet cloth or other chemical. the clean times is depend on the using frequency and surrounding condition; it is recommended that should be cleaned every 20 days;

Please clean the lighting surface and engine outlet regularly.

INSTALLATION

This fixture has been designed to be hung. It is recommended for safety purposes, your lighting effect are properly mounted using a suitable hanging clamp and safety cable. Items appropriate for safe and effective mounting are easily sourced from your lighting vendor.

International laser safety regulations require that lasers must be operated in the fashion illustrated below, with a minimum of 3 meters of vertical separation between the floor and the lowest laser light vertically. Additionally, 2.5 meters of horizontal separation is required between laser light and audience or other public spaces.

OPERATION

• Lasers are not designed for continual use. Regular breaks during operation are essential to maximize the life of this device.
• Do not switch the unit off and on again in a short time, let the laser cool down before switching the laser on.
• Important: Never look directly into the laser beam!

1. Safety Instruction

Please read the instruction carefully which including important information about the installation, operation and maintenance.

■ Please keep this User Manual for future consultation. If you sell the unit to another user, be sure that they also receive this instruction booklet.
■ Unpack and check carefully there is no transportation damage before using the unit.
■ Before operating, ensure that the voltage and frequency of power supply match the power requirements of the unit.
■ It's important to ground the yellow/green conductor to earth in order to avoid electric shock.
■ The unit is for indoor use only and use only in a dry location.
■ The unit must be installed in a location with adequate ventilation, at least 50cm from adjacent surfaces. Be sure that no ventilation slots are blocked.
■ Disconnect mains power before fuse replacement or servicing.
■ Replace fuse only with the same type.

3. Installation

The unit should be mounted via its screw holes on the bracket. Always ensure that the unit is firmly fixed to avoid vibration and slipping while operating. Always ensure that the structure to which you are attaching the unit is secure and is able to support a weight of 10 times of the unit's weight. Also always use a safety cable that can hold 12 times of the weight of the unit when installing the fixture.

The equipment must be fixed by professionals. And it must be fixed at a place where is out of the touch of people and has no one pass by or under it.

4. Fixture Cleaning

The cleaning of internal and external optical lenses and/or mirrors must be carried out periodically to optimize light output. Cleaning frequency depends on the environment in

which the fixture operates: damp, smoky or particularly dirty surrounding can cause greater accumulation of dirt on the unit's optics.

□ Clean with soft cloth using normal glass cleaning fluid.
□ Always dry the parts carefully.
☐ Clean the external optics at least every 20 days. Clean the internal optics at least every 30/60 days.
