How to install the DiO ED-CA-04 camera?

Fix the camera to the wall using the provided bracket and screws. Plug in the power adapter. Download the DiO Home app on your smartphone and follow the instructions to connect the camera to your Wi-Fi network.

How to connect the camera to Wi-Fi?

In the DiO Home app, select 'Add a device'. Make sure the camera is on and the LED is flashing blue. Follow the prompts to connect the camera to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.

Does the camera work outdoors?

Yes, the DiO ED-CA-04 camera has an IP65 protection rating, making it rain and dust resistant. It can be installed outdoors under a shelter.

How to view images remotely?

Open the DiO Home app on your smartphone or tablet. Log in to your account and select the camera. You can then view the live stream, enable two-way audio, and receive motion alerts.

How to record videos?

You can record videos on a microSD card (up to 128 GB) inserted into the camera, or subscribe to a cloud subscription in the app. Recordings can be scheduled or triggered by motion detection.

What to do if the camera does not turn on?

Check that the power adapter is properly plugged in and the outlet works. Try another USB cable if possible. If the problem persists, reset the camera by holding the reset button for 10 seconds.

Can the camera be used without a cloud subscription?

Yes, you can use a microSD card for local storage. Basic features (live view, motion detection, alerts) are available without a subscription. The cloud offers online storage and advanced features.

How to reset the camera?

Locate the reset button (often on the back or bottom of the camera). Press and hold it for 10 seconds until the LED flashes red. The camera will restart and be ready to be reconfigured.

Is the camera compatible with Alexa or Google Home?

Yes, the DiO ED-CA-04 is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Enable the DiO skill in your voice assistant's app and link your DiO Home account to control the camera by voice.

How to update the firmware?

The DiO Home app automatically checks for updates. Go to the camera settings and select 'Firmware update'. Follow the instructions to download and install the latest version. Do not turn off the power during the update.
