How do I assemble the AOpen DE2700 barbecue?

What type of gas does the DE2700 use?

The DE2700 can use either liquid propane (LP) from a standard 20 lb tank or natural gas (NG) with a conversion kit (sold separately). The factory setting is for LP.

How do I season the grill grates before first use?

Wash grates with mild soap, rinse, and dry. Coat with a thin layer of high smoke point oil (e.g., canola). Heat grill on high for 15 minutes until oil burns off. Repeat twice for a non-stick seasoning.

Why won't the ignition spark?

Check the battery in the igniter, ensure the electrode is clean and positioned near the burner, and verify the gas supply is on. If still not sparking, replace the igniter module (part #IG1005).

How do I clean the grease tray and burners?

Remove the grease tray and wash with warm soapy water. For burners, use a wire brush to clear debris from burner ports. Clean regularly to prevent flare-ups. Burners should be replaced every 2-3 years if rusty.

What is the maximum temperature of the DE2700?

With the lid closed, the thermometer can reach up to 500-600°F (260-315°C). For searing, use the side burner (up to 650°F or 340°C).

Can I use the DE2700 in winter?

Yes, but allow extra preheat time. Protect the grill from snow and ice. Do not use in enclosed spaces. Ensure the gas regulator does not freeze by keeping the tank warm.

How do I check for gas leaks?

Mix equal parts water and dish soap. Apply to all connections and hoses. Turn on gas (not igniter). If bubbles appear, tighten connections or replace the hose. Never use a flame to check leaks.

While the laser optical drive is reading data from or writing data to an optical disc, do not force open the disc drive door. Press the Eject button to retrieve the optical disc only after the in-use indicator goes off.

Do not install DE6100 in a closed space.

Be sure the ventilation holes in the Digital Engine side for at least 2 inches or 5cm of space for ventilation.

To ensure that other objects do not cover the ventilation holes on DE6100.
