  1. Make sure the voltage in your outlet corresponds to the voltage provided on the appliance label and that the socket is properly grounded. The outlet must be installed according to valid safety instructions.
  2. Do not operate straightener with a damaged cord. All repairs including cord replacements shall be performed by a professional service centre! Do not remove protective covers of the appliance, risk of electric shock!

  8. Leaving the straightener cord connected to outlet unattended is not recommended. Disconnect the cord from the electrical outlet prior to performing maintenance. Do not pull the cord from the outlet by yanking the cord. Unplug the cord from the outlet by grasping the plug.
  9. Do not allow the cord to touch hot surfaces or lead the cord over sharp edges. Do not wrap the cord around the body of the straightener.
  10. Do not touch the ceramic plates, they may be hot. The straightener may only be used on dry hair!
  11. Unplug the appliance immediately after you are done using it and let the straightener cool completely before putting away.
  12. Do not use accessories that the manufacturer does not recommend.
  13. Use the straightener only in accordance with the instructions given in this manual. This hair straightener is intended for domestic use only. The manufacturer is not liable for damages caused by the improper use of this appliance.
  14. This appliance shall not be used by persons (including children), whose physical, sense or mental inability or insufficient experience and skills prevent him from safely using the appliance, if they are not supervised or if they have not been instructed regarding the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Child supervision is essential to prevent them from playing with the appliance.

USING THE APPLIANCE

This hair straightener has 3 control buttons:

ON/OFF

UP = higher temperature

DOWN = lower temperature

The temperature interval is 5°C.

  1. Brush or form your moist or dry hair fi rst to remove any locks.
  2. Plug the straightener into an outlet.
  3. Press the "ON/OFF" button to turn the straightener on.
  4. Press the "UP"/"DOWN" buttons to set the desired temperature of ceramic plates. Wait until the ceramic plates to become warm enough.
  5. Switch the straightener off and disconnect from the outlet after use.

Note: Using lower power is recommended for people with coloured, brittle, damaged and fine hair. To save time and effort, using the maximum amount of heat, established on the highest setting, is recommended for people with healthy rough, strong, exotic and resistant hair.

- Straight hair

Insert about 5 cm of hair in between the ceramic plates, press the handle and slowly slide the hair straightener from the roots to the ends.

- Fine curls

Insert about 5 cm of hair in between the ceramic plates, gently press the handle and slowly slide the hair straightener to the ends; finally, wrap the hair around the plates.

- Outward curls

Insert about 5 cm of hair in between the ceramic plates, press the handle and slowly slide the hair straightener from the roots to the ends and finally curl the ends out gently.

- Inward curls

Insert about 5 cm of hair in between the ceramic plates, press the handle and slowly slide the hair straightener from the roots to the ends and finally curl the ends out gently.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Disconnect the appliance from the electrical output prior to performing any maintenance. The appliance shall only be cleaned when cool; clean the appliance regularly after every use.

Maintain the ceramic plates clean, without dust, impurities, hair gels and sprays. Do not use the straightener together with setting lotion, hair gel, spray, etc. Wipe the plates using a moist (not wet) fabric and dry with soft dry cloth. Never clean the iron under running water, do not rinse or immerse the iron into water!

Always make sure the hair straightener is completely cooled, clean and dry before putting it away.
