Frequently Asked Questions - 8815 ARIETE

How do I wash the Ariete 8815 heated blanket?
First, unplug the blanket and detach the control unit. The blanket can be machine washed on a gentle cycle at 30°C (86°F) or hand washed. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. Air dry only; do not tumble dry.
Can I use the heated blanket overnight?
Yes, but it is recommended to use the auto shut-off feature (typically 3 hours). The blanket is designed for safe overnight use, but always follow the safety instructions.
What should I do if the blanket does not heat up?
Check that the control unit is properly connected and the power cord is plugged into a working outlet. Ensure the temperature setting is not at zero. If the problem persists, contact Ariete support.
Is the Ariete 8815 safe for people with sensitive skin?
Yes, the blanket is made of soft fleece material and the heating elements are evenly distributed to avoid hot spots. However, always use a cover if you have very sensitive skin.
How long does it take to heat up?
Typically, the blanket reaches its maximum temperature within 10-15 minutes, depending on the setting and ambient temperature.
Can I use the blanket with a mattress topper?
Yes, but ensure the blanket is placed on top of the topper and not between layers. Avoid using with thick memory foam toppers as they may trap heat.
How do I store the heated blanket when not in use?
Allow the blanket to cool down completely. Fold it loosely (avoid sharp creases that could damage wires) and store in a dry place away from moisture. Do not place heavy items on top.
What does the auto shut-off feature do?
The auto shut-off turns the blanket off after a set period (e.g., 3 hours) to prevent overheating and save energy. It can be disabled on some models, but it is recommended for safety.
Can I use the blanket with a pet?
It is not recommended for pets as they may chew the cord or damage the heating elements. Also, pet hair can clog the fabric. Use a dedicated pet heating pad instead.
Where can I get spare parts for the Ariete 8815?
Spare parts such as the control unit and power cord are available from Ariete authorized service centers. Check the Ariete website or contact customer service for the nearest location.
