PREPARING YOUR CLEANER

  1. Remove the accessories from the main packaging. You will find the following:

- Cleaner body

  • Cleaner handle
  • Parquet nozzle*
  • Hard Floor Nozzle (HF) **

  • Mini Turbo Nozzle 1
  • Grand Turbo Nozzle*
  • Assemble the cleaner handle and fix it in position with the supplied screw. [1a]
  • Secure the flexible hose handle to the rear of the cleaner handle. [1b]
  • Secure the nozzle to the product [1c], and place the product in the upright position.

For models equipped with Parquet nozzle*:

Secure the nozzle to the product in the same way as the Hard Floor nozzle. For parquet floors and other delicate floors.

*Certain models only. **Certain models only; nozzles may vary according to model.

For models equipped with mini-turbo nozzle*:

Ideal for cleaning soft furnishings and removing pet hair.

  1. The mini-turbo nozzle can be connected directly to the flexible hose handle or the extension tube. [2a]
  2. If any blockages are encountered, open the inspection cover on the underside. [2b]

For models equipped with Grand Turbo Nozzle*:

Secure the nozzle to the product in the same way as the hard floor nozzle. Use the turbo nozzle for deep cleaning on carpets.

Cord storage:

To store the cord after cleaning, wrap the cord around the two cord hooks. [3]

USING YOUR CLEANER

Power switch:

  1. To switch the cleaner on, rotate the power control knob. [4]
  2. Rotate the knob to the correct power level.*
  3. To switch off the product, rotate the same knob.

Using the flexi tube with accessories:

The flexi tube gives you maximum flexibility of usage. It can be used alone or combined with the accessories, as desired. To vacuum with the supplied accessories:

  1. Select accessory mode by rotating the carry handle/accessory mode activator to the accessory position until it locks into place. [5]
  2. Remove the flexi tube from its location at the back of the cleaner handle. [6]
  3. To use the extension tube: remove the tube from the door by unclipping it from the top. [7] Attach it to the flexi tube. [8a]
  4. To use the dusting brush: remove the tool from its location in the body of the product by pressing the middle of the component [9a] then unclipping it from the top. [9b] Attach it to the flexi tube. [8b]
  5. To return to floor vacuuming, press the floor mode button. [10]

IMPORTANT - When using cleaning tools, the cleaner must be kept in the upright position and held. It must not be used in the stand-alone position without the user holding the product. [11]

CLEANER MAINTENANCE

Replacing the disposable bag

  1. Lay the cleaner on a flat surface, pull back the door release button, and remove the bag door. [12]
  2. Remove the disposable bag, close the flap to lock the contents, and dispose of it. [13]
  3. Take a new bag and fit the collar with the location in the main body, and rotate until fixed. [14]
  4. Locate the tabs on the door as shown and close the door.

Attention: This product is fitted with a mechanism that prevents the door from closing when there is no bag fitted.

NOTE: The bag may need to be changed frequently when picking up material such as powder or fine dust, or when cleaning new carpets.

Cleaning the washable pre-motor filter

  1. Lay the cleaner on a flat surface, pull back the door release button, and remove the bag door. [12]
  2. Remove the old pre-motor filter by pressing the finger tab to release it. [15]
  3. Gently tap the filter against the side of a bin to release excess dust.
  4. If deeper cleaning is required: Wash the filter thoroughly under hand warm water until the water runs clean.
  5. Remove excess water by shaking and leave to dry for 24 hours. DO NOT USE HOT WATER OR DETERGENTS.
  6. Refit bag door as above.

IMPORTANT - For optimum performance, shake off excess dust from the filters regularly. We recommend that the filter is washed every 3 months.

NOTE: Do not use the cleaner without filters assembled.

ACCESSORIES

To obtain the best performance and energy efficiency, it is recommended that the correct nozzles are used for the main cleaning operations. These nozzles are indicated in the diagrams by the letters GP, HF or CA.

A nozzle type GP can be used to clean both carpet and hard floor.

A nozzle type HF is suitable for use only on hard floor.

A nozzle of type CA is suitable for use only on carpet.

The other nozzles are accessories for specialist cleaning tasks and are recommended for occasional use only.

It is important to note that this vacuum cleaner is supplied with an Energy Label as required by European Regulation (EU) 665/2013.

If the label shows a red prohibition circle on the left covering the carpet symbol, then this indicates that the vacuum cleaner is not suitable for use on carpets.

If the label shows a red prohibition circle on the right covering the hard floor symbol, then this indicates that the vacuum cleaner is not suitable for use on hard floors.

Parquet Nozzle* – For parquet floors and other delicate floors.

Mini Turbo Nozzle* – Use the mini turbo nozzle on stairs or for deep cleaning on textile surfaces and other hard to clean areas. Particularly suitable for allergen removal.

IMPORTANT: Do not use the turbo and mini turbo nozzles on rugs with long fringes, animal hides and carpet pile deeper than 15mm. Do not keep the nozzle stationary while the brush is rotating.
