How to assemble the Turmix A33145 blender?

Place the bowl on the motor base aligning the marks. Insert the blades into the bowl, then screw the blade system from underneath. Add ingredients, close the lid with the cap, then lock by turning the lid until it clicks.

What is the maximum capacity of the bowl?

The bowl has a capacity of 1.5 liters. Do not exceed the maximum mark to avoid overflowing.

Can I blend hot ingredients?

Yes, but let liquids cool to 60°C maximum. Never pour hot oil or boiling liquids.

How to clean the blender?

Remove the bowl and lid: they are dishwasher safe (top rack). Rinse the blades immediately after use. Clean the base with a damp cloth, do not immerse.

What if the blender does not start?

Check that the bowl and lid are properly locked. Ensure the plug is connected and the speed selector is not on 0. If problem persists, the appliance may be in thermal protection: wait 15 minutes.

Can I crush ice cubes with this model?

Yes, use the Pulse function with 2-second bursts. Do not fill the bowl more than half full with ice cubes.

How to adjust the speed?

Turn the speed knob from 1 (slow) to 5 (very fast). The Pulse position (P) allows short bursts.

Is the bowl glass or plastic?

The bowl is made of tempered glass, resistant to thermal shock and scratches. Do not use it in the microwave.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

IMPORTANT Always start with the lowest speed setting and then slowly increase the speed. Turn the device off before removing the lid. The device should not be switched on when empty.

INSERT THE KNIFE APPLIANCE

Insert the knife appliance into the glass from below and turn it until the positioning aids slot into place. Press the knife appliance against the glass and turn the bottom ring clockwise until you hear it click. The knife appliance can be removed by following these steps in a reversed order.

ATTACH THE MIXING GLASS

The blender has been fitted with a safety mechanism that is activated when the glass is in contact with the base. Thus, when placing the glass on the base ensure that a quiet clicking sound of the micro sensors can be heard (the locking device is then unlocked). The glass can be placed on the base in 4 positions (respectively at a 90° angle from each other). Fill the blender with ingredients and put the lid on top. Make sure that the shape of the lid fits on the shape of the glass.

TURN THE DEVICE ON / OFF, ADD MORE INGREDIENTS

Plug the power plug in. Adjust the switch to the desired setting or hold it on the «pulse» setting. Ingredients can be filled via the opening in the lid or turn the device off and remove the lid. If an air bubble should shape around the knife, turn off the device, lift the mixing glass from the base and stir the contents to allow the air to disappear. After use, turn the device off and unplug it.

COLD CUCUMBER SOUP

Recipe for the triple blade attachment

1 dl WATER Heat up.

2 TSPS VEGETABLE Season, allow to cool, pour into measuring jug. STOCK

1 CUCUMBER, Peel, cut into pieces, add. APPROX. 400 g

1/4 PEPERONCINO Cut in halves, remove the cores, cut finely, add.

3 dl CURDLED MILK Add. 180 g NATURAL YOGHURT

A LITTLE SALT, Season, mix. Leave to cool. Serve soup. PEPPER, DILL

TIPS Garnish soup with finely cut small cubes of cucumber and dill. Serve with garlic bread, herb bread, crisp bread rolls or savoury crisps.

FROZEN MARGARITA

SALT Blend all ingredients.

125 ML OF LIME JUICE

175 ML OF TEQUILA

60 ml TRIPLE SEC

500 G OF

CRUSHED ICE

SALT Wet the edge of the glass, dip in salt and fill the cocktail into the 2 SLICES OF LIME glass. Decorate with slices of lime.

SUNRISE-SMOOTHIE

200 G OF APRICOTS Blend all ingredients and put into a glass.

KNIFE APPLIANCE

The knife appliance can be removed by turning the bottom ring in an anti-clockwise direction and then simply removing the appliance. The knife appliance is not dishwasher proof. Wash it thoroughly under running water with some washing-up liquid. Do not use any abrasive / aggressive detergents. The blades are sharp!

MIXING GLASS AND LID

First remove the knife appliance (see above), then the lid. The measuring cup can be removed by lightly turning and pulling it out of the feed opening. Wash the glass, the lid and the measuring cup thoroughly under running water with some washing-up liquid. These individual parts are also dishwasher proof. Do not use any abrasive / aggressive detergents.

BASE

Check that the power plug has been unplugged. Wipe down the base with a wet, non-abrasive cloth and then dry it. The base should never come into contact with water.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

This appliance is not to be used by persons (including children) with restricted physical, sensory or mental capacity or with a lack of experience or knowledge without supervision or prior instruction by a person responsible for their safety. Children are to be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.

This appliance is intended for household use and not for business or commercial purposes. Never operate this appliance on an uneven surface or outdoors.

Never leave the appliance out unattended. When the appliance is not in use, switch it off and disconnect the plug from the mains socket. Allow the appliance to cool down before storing away.

Connect the appliance to properly installed sockets only, with the correct power rating (see rating plate on the appliance), ideally to a residual-current device (max. 30 mA). Do not use an extension cable.

Never operate damaged appliances or equipment (including damaged power cord). Do not disassemble the appliance yourself. All repairs must be carried out by properly qualified specialists only. Our service points can be found at www.TURMIX.com.

Never allow the power cord to hang loose. Do not unplug the appliance from the mains by pulling on the cable or with wet hands. Never place the power cord on hot surfaces and do not allow it to come into contact with fats or oils.

Never touch live parts.

Pull out the plug from the mains socket before removing or attaching parts, before cleaning or maintenance and if the appliance is not functioning properly.

For reasons of safety, only use accessories recommended or sold by the manufacturer.

If the appliance catches fire, extinguish the fire with a fire blanket only.

Never touch rotating parts or blades. Switch the appliance off, wait until it stops completely and pull out the mains plug before touching parts inside the appliance. Danger of injury!

The knife is sharp! Even if the device is turned off, clean it with the utmost care.

Do not insert any objects or fingers into the appliance openings.

Do not cover the appliance openings or air vents. This can lead to overheating!

Never use the appliance near water or other liquids (bathtub, sink, etc.) and never expose it to rain or damp. If the appliance falls into water or liquid, pull out the mains plug before taking it out. The appliance must be checked by a qualified specialist before its next use.

When using the appliance on sensitive furniture, use a covering to protect it.

Only wash those parts in the dishwasher that are designated dishwasher-safe. For more information on this, see the section entitled «Cleaning».

Use of the appliance for anything other than its intended purpose, or incorrect operation, cleaning or repair renders the guarantee void and no liability will be assumed for any damage caused.

DISPOSAL

Before disposing of the appliance, make it unusable by cutting off the power cord.

This appliance is not suitable for disposal as domestic waste. Please dispose of it in accordance with the regulations that apply in your area.
