Nespresso, an exclusive system creating the perfect Espresso, time after time.
All machines are equipped with a unique extraction system that guarantees up to 19 Bar pressure. Each parameter has been calculated with great precision to ensure that all the aromas from each Grand Cru can be extracted, to give the coffee body and create an exceptionally thick and smooth crema.

PACKAGING CONTENT





This machine is equipped with an energy saving feature. The machine will automatically enter power off mode after 9 minutes.

To turn the machine on either press the Espresso or Lunga button.

To turn the machine off before automatic Power Off mode, press both the Espresso and Lungo button simultaneously.
To change this setting:
hold the Espresso button for 3 seconds.

- The Espresso button will blink to indicate the current setting.

- To change this setting press the Espresso button: One time for power off mode after 9 minutes One more time for power off mode after 30 minutes One more time to deactivate

- To exit the energy saving mode press the Lungo button for 3 seconds.
OF NON-USE
CAUTION: first read the safety precautions to avoid risks of fatal electrical shocks and fire.

- Remove the plastic film from the drip grid.

- Rinse the water tank before filling with potable water.

- Place a container (min. 1 L) under coffee outlet.

- Plug into mains.

Lungo button to activate the machine.

Blinking Lights: heating

- Press the Lungo button to rinse the machine. Repeat 3 times.
COFFEE PREPARATION

- Rinse then fill the water tank with potable water.

- Press the Espresso or Lungo button to activate the machine.

Blinking Lights: heating

- Lift the lever completely and insert a Nespresso capsule.
CAUTION: never lift lever during operation and refer to the safety precautions to avoid possible harm when operating the appliance.
NOTE: during heat up, you can press either coffee button while blinking. The coffee will then flow automatically when the machine is ready.

- Close the lever and place a cup under the coffee outlet.

(110 ml) button to start. Preparation will stop automatically. To stop the coffee flow or top up your coffee, press again.

- Remove the cup. Lift and close the lever to eject the capsule into the used capsule container.

- Turn the machine on and wait for it to be in ready mode (steady lights).

- Fill the water tank with potable water and insert a Nespresso capsule.

- Place a cup under the coffee outlet.

- Press and hold the Espresso or Lungo button. volume is served.
MILK PREPARATION


Place milk frother on connector.
The milk frother is provided with:


1 whisk


1 mixer

Attach the whisk or mixer; see the Recipes section.

Fill the milk frother with the desired amount of milk.
CAUTION: spattered milk may cause burns. Only use the milk frother with the lid on.
The milk frother's maximum level is indicated:


Milk froth for 2 Nespresso Cappuccino cups
1 Nespresso Recipe glass


The milk frother's minimum level:



For hot preparation, briefly press the button.

For cold milk froth, keep the button pressed for approximately 2 seconds. This takes about 60 seconds.
Press the button to start. The lamp lights up. The milk frother stops automatically.

Cappuccino


Prepare an Espresso in a Cappuccino cup and add hot milk froth. Add sugar and sprinkle with cocoa if desired.
Proportions:
1/2 hot milk froth
1 Espresso
Latte Macchiato


Fill a tall glass with hot milk froth. Prepare an Espresso and pour it slowly down the inside
Proportions:
1/2 hot milk froth
1 Espresso
Caffè Latte


Add sugar if desired.
Proportions:
1/2 hot milk
1/2 Lungo
Iced Cappuccino


together with four to five crushed ice cubes. Prepare cold milk froth using the milk frother. Carefully add three to four tablespoons of frothed milk to the top of the glass. Sprinkle with cinnamon, nutmeg or cocoa if desired.

- Remove the water tank and open the lever.

CAUTION: the descaling solution can be harmful. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and surfaces. Never use any product other than the Nespresso descaling kit available at the Nespresso Club to avoid damage to your machine. The following table will indicate the descaling frequency required for the optimum performance of your machine, based on water hardness. For any additional questions you may have regarding descaling, please contact your Nespresso Club.

CLEANING

WARNING
Risk of fatal electrical shock and fire.
Never immerse the appliance or part of it in water. Be sure to unplug the machine before cleaning.

Clean the coffee outlet regularly with a soft damp cloth.

Maintenance unit can be removed in separate pieces for easy cleaning.
NOTE: milk frother is waterproof but NOT dishwasher safe. Make sure to clean the Aeroccino after each preparation to avoid build up of milk and residue.

- Remove milk frother from connector and detach whisks by hand (no tools required).

- Remove seal from lid to clean both parts. Rinse and clean with a soft damp cloth.
- Once clean, clip whisk back to inner base of jug to avoid misplacing it.

| Coffee comes out very slowly. | → Flow speed depends on the coffee variety. |
| Coffee is not hot enough. | → Preheat cup.→ Descale if necessary. |
| Capsule area is leaking(water in capsule container). | → Position capsule correctly. If leakages occur, call the Nespresso Club. |
| Irregular blinking. | → Send appliance to repair or call the Nespresso Club. |
| No coffee, just water runs out (despite inserted capsule). | → In case of problems, call the Nespresso Club. |
| → Proceed to descaling. |
