Safety advice and warnings
- Read these instructions carefully before switching on the appliance and keep them for future reference. Failure to follow and observe these instructions may result in an accident.
Electrical safety:
- Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged.
- Ensure that the voltage indicated on the nameplate matches the mains voltage before plugging in the appliance.
- Connect the appliance to a base with an earth socket withstanding a minimum of 10 amperes.
- The appliance's plug must fit into the mains socket properly. Do not alter the plug. Do not use plug adaptors.
- Do not use the appliance if it has fallen on the floor, if there are visible signs of damage or if it has a leak.
- Check the state of the power cable. Damaged or tangled cables increase the risk of electric shock.
- If using the appliance outdoors, use a suitable cable extension.
- Do not use the appliance near bathtubs, showers or swimming pools.
- Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
Use and care:
- Fully unroll the appliance's power cable before each use.
- Do not switch the appliance on without water.
- Do not use the appliance if the on/off switch does not work.
- Do not tilt the appliance by more than 45° with respect to the vertical during use. Boiling water could spill out along with the steam.
- If you use the appliance in a bathroom or similar place, unplug the appliance from the mains when it is not in use, even if it is
only for a short while, as proximity to water involves a risk, even if the appliance is disconnected.
- Unplug the appliance from the mains when not in use and before undertaking any cleaning task.
- This appliance is for household use only, not professional or industrial use.
- This appliance is intended for adult use. Ensure that this product is not used by the disabled, children or people unused to its handling.
- This appliance should be stored out of reach of children and/or the disabled.
- Do not put the appliance away if it is still hot.
- It is advisable to use distilled water, especially if the water in your area contains clay or if it is “hard” (containing lime or magnesium).
- Check the condition of the security plug joint periodically.
- Check that the safety lid is fully screwed tight before switching the appliance on.
- Do not use the appliance on any part of the body of a person or animal.
- Any misuse or failure to follow the instructions for use renders the guarantee and the manufacturer's liability null and void.

Instructions for use
Before use:
- Prepare the appliance according to the function you wish to use:
Insertion of accessories into the appliance's grip:
- The rotating nozzle is designed in such a way that it allows the insertion of the following accessories (use the combination that best meets your requirements):
- Upholstery brush: Especially for cleaning fabric surfaces. Attach the accessory into the rotating nozzle and turn the accessory in the direction according to arrow (clockwise), until the line on the accessory coincides with the double line marked on the nozzle (Fig. 1).
- Cloth: Place over the upholstery brush.
- Window wiper accessory: Attach the lip of the window wiper accessory over the hooks of the upholstery brush and press from the lower part of the accessory until the two parts are completely joined (Fig.
2). To detach the window wiper accessory from the brush, lift up the lip situated on the under side of the accessory and pull outwards until they separate (Fig. 3). - Round brush: Especially for removing resistant grease and dirt. Attach the accessory into the rotating nozzle and press (Fig.4).
- 90° angled nozzle: Especially for difficult to reach areas. Attach the accessory into the rotating nozzle and press (Fig. 4).
- Elongated nozzle: Especially for difficult to reach areas. Attach the accessory into the rotating nozzle and turn the accessory in the direction according to arrow (clockwise), until the line on the accessory coincides with the double line marked on the nozzle (Fig. 1).
Filling with water:
- You must fill the water compartment before turning on the appliance.
- Unscrew the safety lid.
- Fill the compartment with cold water.
- Empty the water with the help of the measuring cup and the funnel. The maximum useful capacity of the boiler is 270ml.
- Screw on the safety lid, making sure it is tightened properly.
Use:
- Connect the appliance to the mains.
- Wait until the pilot light has gone out which will indicate that the appliance has reached an adequate temperature.
Once you have finished using the appliance:
- Unplug the appliance from the mains.
- Remove the water deposit.

Cleaning
- Disconnect the appliance from the mains and allow it to cool before undertaking any cleaning task.
- Clean the equipment with a damp cloth with a few drops of washing-up liquid and then dry.
- Do not use solvents, or products with an acid or base pH such as bleach, or abrasive products, for cleaning the appliance.
- Do not submerge the appliance in water or any other liquid, or place it under a running tap.
How to deal with lime scale incrustations:
- To do so, we recommend the use of the specific product Taurus Decal, which can be found in specialised shops and authorised technical services.

Anomalies and repair
- Take the appliance to an authorised technical support service if problems arise. Do not try to dismantle or repair without assistance, as this may be dangerous.
- If the connection to the mains has been damaged, it must be replaced and you should proceed as you would in the case of damage.
Ecology and recyclability of the product
- The materials of which the packaging of this appliance consists are included in a collection, classification and recycling system. Should you wish to dispose of them, use the appropriate public containers for each type of material.
- The product does not contain concentrations of substances that could be considered harmful to the environment.
- Should you wish to dispose of the product once its working life has ended, take it to an authorised waste agent for the selective collection of waste from electric and electronic appliances.
