Ensure the dryer is unplugged and cool. Remove the rear grille and gently brush or vacuum the filter mesh. Reattach the grille securely before use.
Can I use the hair dryer with a voltage converter?
The HD 3100 is designed for 220-240V. If your local voltage differs, use a suitable voltage converter rated for at least 2200W.
What do the different heat and speed settings do?
There are 3 heat settings (low, medium, high) and 2 speed settings. Low heat with low speed is for gentle drying, high heat with high speed for quick drying.
How does the cool shot button work?
Press and hold the cool shot button to release a burst of cool air. This helps set your hairstyle in place after drying.
Is the diffuser included suitable for curly hair?
Yes, the diffuser attachment distributes air gently, reducing frizz and enhancing natural curls. Use on low speed and medium heat.
What should I do if the hair dryer overheats and stops?
It likely triggered overheat protection. Unplug, let it cool for 15-20 minutes, and check if the filter is clean. It should resume normal operation.
Can I use the hair dryer in the bathroom?
It is not recommended to use near water. Keep the dryer away from bathtubs, showers, or sinks to avoid electric shock. Use in a dry area.
How do I attach the concentrator nozzle?
Simply snap the nozzle onto the front of the dryer. To remove, pull it off gently. The nozzle focuses airflow for precise styling.
What is the power consumption of the Grundig HD 3100?
