Please follow these instructions carefully before using the pushchair for the first time. This will guarantee safe usage of the product and enable you to find out about all its handy features.

- WARNING! Never leave your child unattended.
- WARNING! Ensure that all the locking devices are engaged before use.
- WARNING! To avoid injury ensure that your child is kept away when unfolding and folding this product.
- WARNING! The carrycot is only suitable for a child who cannot sit up unaided. Maximum weight of the child: 9 kg (20 lbs). Maximum child height: 63 cm (25 in).
- WARNING! The carrycot is suitable for children from 0 to 6 months.
- WARNING! Infant carrier can roll over on soft surfaces and suffocate child. NEVER place carrier on beds, sofas, or other soft surfaces.
- WARNING! Do not let your child play with this product.
- WARNING! The xari seat unit is not suitable for children under 6 months.
- WARNING! Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out. Always use the restraint system.

WARNING! Check that the pram body or seat unit or car seat attachment devices are correctly engaged before use.

WARNING! This product is not suitable for running or skating.
- WARNING! Parcels and/or accessory items placed on the stroller may cause the stroller to become unstable.
- WARNING! Child may slip into leg openings and strangle. Never use in reclined carriage position unless child is securely restrained.
- WARNING! Children can choke on foam. Only use with cover installed.
- Never use the carrycot on a stand. Only use on a firm, horizontal level and dry surface. Never use on soft surfaces.
- The head of the child in the carrycot should never be lower than the body of the child.
- Do not add an additional mattress in the pram body; only use the mattress provided by mima.
- Take care when folding and unfolding the product to prevent finger entrapment.
- mima xari is suitable for children up to 18 kg (39.6 lbs) / 90 cm (35 in). The maximum permitted weight in each of the two baskets is 3 kg (6.5 lbs). Excessive weight may cause a hazardous unstable condition to exist.

Never carry more than 1 child in mima xari at a time.
-
A child's safety is your responsibility.
- Only use accessories or replacement parts sold or approved by mima.
- Do not use the product in case of broken, torn or missing parts.
- Any load attached to the handle, backrest or sides affects the stability of the mima xari.
- The carriage or stroller will become unstable if the manufacturer's recommended load is exceeded.
- The carriage or stroller will become unstable if a parcel bag or parcel rack is used when there is no provision for one.
- Always use the crotch strap in combination with the waist and shoulder belts.
- Always engage the parking device when placing and removing your child.
- Check regularly to make sure mima xari functions properly and safely, maintain and clean it well.
- For car seats used in conjunction with the mima xari, the car seat does not replace a cot or a bed. Should your child need to sleep, then it should be placed in a suitable pram body, cot or bed.
- Do not use the safety bar as carrying handle.
- Never lift mima xari or use escalators or stairs when the child is still inside.
- Never allow your child to get out of the
product unaided.
- The fabric can discolour due to sunlight.
- Keep mima xari away from open fire, heaters and other sources of strong heat.
- The tyres may leave marks on some surfaces (particularly smooth floors like parquet, laminate and linoleum).
- Never leave the harness buckled when not fitted to a child in the stroller because the harness can form loops which may pose a strangulation hazard.
- Do not stand on the crossbars between the wheels. This is unsafe and may damage the stroller.
- Check that the carrycot and/or seat are installed correctly and securely locked in place before usage.
- Always remove the child from the stroller before going up or down stairs or escalators. Use an elevator when possible.
- TIPPING HAZARD: This vehicle is designed for use on flat or gently sloping surfaces and may be unstable on higher sloping and uneven surfaces.
- Always lock swivel wheels when on rough surfaces as this will help eliminate wheel wobble.
- When a child is in the carrycot or seat, the canopy must be attached at all times.
- This product will become unstable if a parcel bag or rack is used when there is no
provision for one.
- SAFETY WARNING: The sun is very strong. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CHILD EXPOSED TO THE SUN. The canopy or hood on this product will not give your child adequate protection from the harmful rays of the sun.
- Complies with safety requirements in accordance with EN1888-2:2018, ASTM F833:2021 and SOR/2016-167.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
- Maintain and clean mima xari frequently.
- Clean the frame, seat, hood and shopping basket regularly using a damp cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaners.
- Wipe the product with a soft, absorbent cloth after use in the rain, snow or after use on the beach.
- Store mima xari and its accessories in a dry place and leave them unfolded when wet.
WARRANTY
Your product complies with the current safety requirements and is warranted to be free from any manufacturing or material defects at the time of purchase.
If this product has any manufacturing and/or material defects after it has been purchased and during the warranty period (with normal use as described in the user manual), please contact your retailer.
WARRANTY CONDITIONS
The warranty is valid for 24 months starting on the date of purchase. After the warranty period, your authorised mima service repair centre may charge you a fee for parts and labour to repair your mima product.
All product warranties shall not be honoured if presented to a retailer outside of the country where the product was purchased. For the purpose of clarity, this warranty is not worldwide or universal. All costs to repair a product in these circumstances shall be for the cost of the consumer.
For the warranty to be valid you need to:
- Provide your retailer with the original receipt.
- Provide your retailer with a description of the defect.
PLEASE NOTE
- The warranty only covers the original owner of the product and cannot be transferred to any subsequent owner.
- The warranty entitles the owner to have the product repaired but not to an exchange or refund.

The warranty is not valid in the following circumstances:

The product has been modified or repaired by a third party not authorized by mima.
- Corrosion or rust on the wheels and chassis due to extreme environmental conditions, including high humidity, salt spray, ice or snow or due to insufficient maintenance.
- The damage was caused by improper usage or maintenance or due to misuse by the user; in particular, failure to comply with these instructions for use as described in this user manual.
- The damage was caused as the result of an accident or airline/transport damage.
- Normal wear and tear should be expected when this product is used daily.
- The fabric may become discoloured or become damaged due to washing or excessive exposure to direct sunlight.
- The damage is the result of overloading (exceeding the maximum weight allowance for the child and any items being carried) on the stroller.
