How to replace the lamp on the Acer D111 projector?

Turn off and unplug the projector, let it cool. Remove the lamp cover screw and slide off the cover. Replace the old lamp module with a new one from Acer (model: MC.JG711.001). Secure the cover and reconnect power. Reset the lamp timer via OSD menu if available.

What is the native resolution of the Acer D111?

The native resolution is SVGA (800 x 600). It can accept higher resolutions but will scale down.

Can I connect a laptop to the Acer D111?

Yes, use a VGA cable to connect your laptop's VGA port to the projector's VGA input. You may need an adapter for newer laptops (USB-C to VGA).

How to clean the air filter?

Locate the air filter at the side or bottom of the projector. Gently remove it and use a soft brush or compressed air to remove dust. Avoid water. Reinstall the filter. Clean every 100 hours of use.

Does the Acer D111 support HDMI?

No, the D111 does not have an HDMI port. It only supports VGA and composite video inputs.

How to adjust keystone correction?

Press the 'Keystone' button on the remote or projector menu. Use the directional keys to correct vertical distortion (up to ±40 degrees).

What is the recommended projection distance for a 100-inch screen?

For a 100-inch screen, place the projector approximately 3.2 to 3.5 meters away from the screen (based on throw ratio 1.95-2.15). Adjust using the zoom ring.

How to reset the lamp hour counter?

After replacing the lamp, go to the OSD menu, select 'Management' or 'Settings', then find 'Lamp Hours' or 'Reset Lamp Timer'. Confirm to reset.

Is the Acer D111 compatible with 3D content?

The D111 does not support 3D projection. It is a standard DLP projector without 3D capability.

What is the maximum image size?

The maximum recommended image size is 300 inches diagonal, but for best brightness, keep it under 200 inches. Image quality decreases beyond that.
