Safety for Children and Vulnerable People

• This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above, and by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or those lacking experience and knowledge, provided they are supervised or instructed in safe use and understand the hazards.
• Children must be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and maintenance must not be performed by children unless they are supervised and aged 8 years or older.
• Keep all packaging materials out of reach of children to avoid suffocation risks.
• When discarding the appliance, unplug it, cut the power cable close to the appliance, and remove the door to prevent children from becoming trapped or electrocuted.
• If replacing an older appliance with a spring lock (latch) on the door or lid, ensure the spring lock is disabled before disposal to prevent it from becoming a hazard to children.

- The refrigerant isobutane (R600a) used in this appliance is environmentally friendly but flammable. During transportation and installation, ensure that none of the refrigerant circuit components are damaged.

- Avoid open flames and ignition sources.

- Ensure proper ventilation in the room where the appliance is installed.

- Modifying or altering the appliance in any way is dangerous. Damage to the power cord can cause short circuits, fires, or electric shocks.

Daily Use

• Do not place hot items on the plastic parts of the appliance.

Cleaning and Care

Installation

INSTALLATION

Space Requirement

• Ensure there is enough space for the door to open fully.
• Maintain a minimum gap of 50mm on both sides of the appliance.

Levelling the Unit

• Adjust the two leveling feet located at the front of the unit to ensure it is level.
• Proper leveling is crucial; if the unit is not level, the doors and magnetic seals may not align correctly.

Positioning

Install the appliance in a location where the ambient temperature matches the climate class specified on the rating plate:

Location

• Position the appliance away from heat sources such as radiators, boilers, or direct sunlight.
• Ensure that air can circulate freely around the back of the cabinet.
• For optimal performance, if the appliance is placed under an overhanging wall unit, maintain a minimum distance of 100mm between the top of the cabinet and the wall unit. Ideally, the appliance should not be placed under overhanging wall units.
• Accurate leveling is achieved through one or more adjustable feet at the base of the cabinet.

WARNING: It must be possible to disconnect the appliance from the power supply. The plug must therefore be easily accessible after installation.

Electrical Connection

• Before plugging in the appliance, ensure that the voltage and frequency on the rating plate match your domestic power supply.
• The appliance must be earthed. The power supply cable plug includes an earth contact for this purpose.
• If the domestic power supply socket is not earthed, consult a qualified electrician to connect the appliance to a separate earth in compliance with current regulations.

Reverse the Door

Tools required: Phillips screwdriver, flat-bladed screwdriver, hexagonal spanner.

Before reversing the door:

• Ensure the appliance is unplugged and empty before beginning.
• Tilt the unit backward to remove the door. Support the unit securely to prevent slipping during the door reversal process.
• Save all removed parts for reinstallation.
• Do not lay the unit flat, as this could damage the cooling system.
• It is recommended that two people handle the unit during this process.

Reversing the door:

1. Remove the top right hinge cover.
2. Unscrew and remove the hinge bracket.

1. Remove the top left screw cover.
2. Transfer the core cover from the left side to the right side, then lift the upper door and place it on a padded surface to prevent scratches.

1. Unscrew and remove the bottom hinge pin, flip the bracket, and reinstall it.

1. Refit the bracket, ensuring the bottom hinge pin is secured, and replace both adjustable feet.

1. Reinstall the door, making sure it is aligned horizontally and vertically so that the seals close properly on all sides before tightening the top hinge.

2. Attach the hinge bracket and secure it to the top of the unit. Use a spanner if necessary to tighten.

OPERATION

First Use

Cleaning the interior:

• Before using the appliance for the first time, clean the interior and all internal accessories with lukewarm water and a mild soap to remove the new product smell. Thoroughly dry all surfaces afterward.
• Important! Avoid using detergents or abrasive powders, as these can damage the finish.

Temperature setting:

Plug in the appliance. The internal temperature is regulated by a thermostat with 7 settings. Setting 1 is the warmest, setting 7 is the coldest, and 0 is off.

Note:

The appliance may not maintain the correct temperature in particularly hot environments or if the door is frequently opened.

Movable Shelves

All shelves are adjustable and can be repositioned to accommodate different items.

Positioning the Door Shelves

The door shelves can be adjusted to different heights to store various sizes of food and beverages. Follow these steps to adjust:

1. Pull the shelf out to remove it.
2. Select the desired height and press the shelf onto the two convex plates until it is securely in place.

Chiller Compartment

The drawer is designed for storing fruits and vegetables and can be easily pulled out.

Thawing

Frozen or deep-frozen food can be thawed in the refrigerator compartment or at room temperature. Place the food in a dish or bowl to catch any condensate water that forms during thawing.

Hints for Refrigeration

To achieve optimal performance:

• Do not store warm food or liquids that evaporate quickly in the refrigerator.
• Cover or wrap food, especially if it has a strong odour.
• Arrange food so air can circulate freely around it.
• Meat (all types): Wrap in plastic bags and place on the glass shelf above the chiller compartment. For safety, store meat this way for only one or two days at most.
• Cooked foods and cold dishes: Cover these items and place them on any shelf.
• Fruits and vegetables: Clean thoroughly and store in the chiller compartment.
• Butter and cheese: Store in airtight containers or wrap in aluminium foil or plastic bags to minimize air exposure.
• Milk bottles: Ensure they are capped and store them in the door shelf.
• Bananas, potatoes, onions, and garlic: Do not store these items in the refrigerator unless they are packed.

CLEANING & CARE

For hygienic purposes, it is important to clean the interior of the appliance, including all interior accessories, regularly.

Caution!

• The appliance must be disconnected from the power during cleaning to avoid the risk of electrical shock. Before cleaning, switch off the appliance and unplug it, or turn off the circuit breaker or fuse.
• Never use a steam cleaner to clean the appliance, as moisture can accumulate in electrical components, increasing the risk of electrical shock. Hot vapours can also damage plastic parts.
• Ensure the appliance is completely dry before reconnecting it to the power.
• Important! Ethereal oils and organic solvents can damage plastic parts, such as lemon juice, orange peel, butyric acid, and cleaners containing acetic acid. Avoid contact with these substances.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners.

Cleaning

1. Remove all food from the fridge and store it in a cool, covered place.
2. Switch off the appliance and unplug it or turn off the circuit breaker or fuse.
3. Clean the appliance and its accessories using a cloth and lukewarm water. After cleaning, wipe with fresh water and dry thoroughly.
4. Dust accumulation on the condenser increases energy consumption. Carefully clean the condenser at the back of the appliance once a year using a soft brush or vacuum cleaner.
5. Once the appliance is completely dry, reconnect it to the power and resume operation.

Defrosting

Over time, frost will accumulate on the evaporator and should be removed. Avoid using sharp metal tools to scrape off the frost, as this could damage the evaporator. When the ice becomes too thick, follow these steps for complete defrosting:

1. Unplug the appliance from the power.
2. Remove all stored food, wrap it in several layers of newspaper, and store it in a cool place.
3. Keep the door open and place a container under the appliance to collect defrost water.
4. Once defrosting is complete, thoroughly dry the interior.
5. Plug the appliance back in to resume normal operation.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Caution!

- Important! Some sounds during normal operation are expected, such as those from the compressor or refrigerant circulation.

Appliance cools too much	Temperature is set too cold.	Temporarily adjust the temperature regulation knob to a warmer setting.
Unusual noises	Appliance is not level.	Re-adjust the feet.
	The appliance is touching the wall or other objects.	Move the appliance slightly to ensure it is not in contact with walls or other objects.
	A component, such as a pipe at the rear, is touching another part.	Carefully bend the component out of the way if necessary.
