Read these operating instructions carefully before using the appliance for the first time and preserve this booklet for later reference. Pass the booklet on to whoever might acquire this appliance at a future date.
Intended use
This musical toy is intended exclusively for the playback of music to help make it easier for toddlers and babies to fall asleep. It is intended for use exclusively in dry indoor rooms and only for domestic use. This appliance is not intended for use outdoors.

Safety instructions

Not suitable for children under 3 years of age. To be used only under the supervision of adults.

⚠️ To avoid the risks of accidents and personal injuries:
- This musical toy may not be laid directly in the child's bed or cot at night. There is a risk of injury to the infant through bumping against the appliance.
- Always check to ensure that the appliance is in a serviceable condition before taking it into use. Should there be visible damage to the appliance, do not take it into use. Arrange for it to be safety-checked by Customer Services before using it again.
⚠️ To avoid damage to the appliance:
- Protect the appliance from dust and moisture as well as direct sunlight.
- Use it only in dry rooms, do not use it outdoors or in damp areas.
- NEVER open any parts of the housing, unless instructions to do so are given herein.
⚠ Interaction with batteries
- Leaking batteries can cause damage to the appliance. Remove the batteries if you do not intend to use the appliance for an extended period.
- Always exchange all batteries at the same time, for new batteries of the same type.
- In the event of a leaking battery: Put on protective gloves and clean the battery compartment with a dry cloth.
- Batteries may not be thrown into fires, taken apart or short-circuited. Do not attempt to recharge batteries. They could explode.
- Should a battery be accidentally swallowed, immediately seek medical assistance!
Inserting the batteries
- Unscrew the battery compartment cover 4 at the rear of the appliance.
- Insert the batteries as per the poling indicated in the battery compartment.
- Rescrew the battery compartment cover ④ back down firmly. The appliance is now ready for use.
Setting an automatic switch-off time
- Press the function button ③ once to display the automatic switch-off time. The melody button 1 ② glows for 5 seconds. The switch-off time amounts to 5 minutes.
- Press the function button ③ again, two melody buttons ② glow for 5 seconds. The switch-off time amounts to 10 minutes.
- Press the function button ③ again, three melody buttons ② glow for 5 seconds. The switch-off time amounts to 20 minutes.
- Press the function button ③ once again, four melody buttons ② glow for 5 seconds. The switch-off time amounts to 60 minutes.
Playback of melodies
- Press one of the melody buttons 1-8 ②.
- The melody will be played back and the corresponding melody button ② blinks.
- Press the same melody button ② once again to stop the playback.
- Should another melody button ② be pressed, the current playback stops and the newly selected melody will be played back.
Playback of melodies in succession
- Press and hold the function button ③ until all melody buttons ② are glowing.
- Press one of the melody buttons 1-8 ② to start playback of the first melody. All melodies will now be played back, one after the other, until the automatic switch-off time has been reached.
- Press the function button ③ once again to stop playback of the melodies.
Random playback of melodies
- Press and hold any one of the melody buttons ② until the melody starts to sound. The melody buttons start to blink in a random sequence.
- Press the function button ③ once again to stop random playback of the melodies.
Adjusting the volume.
- Set the desired sound volume by turning the volume regulator ①.
Cleaning and Care
- Clean the appliance only with a lightly moistened cloth.
Never use aggressive cleansers. They can damage the surfaces. - Do not permit fluids to permeate into the interior of the appliance.
Maintenance
- The appliance is maintenance-free. No form of maintenance, either on or in the appliance, is intended for execution by the user. In the event of malfunction or apparent damage, make contact with our Customer Services.
Disposing of the appliance

Do not dispose of the appliance in your normal domestic waste.
Dispose of the appliance through an approved waste disposal centre or at your community waste facility. This product is subject to the provisions of European Directive 2002/96/EC. Observe the currently applicable regulations. In case of doubt, please
contact your waste disposal centre.
Disposing of the batteries
Do not dispose of the batteries with household waste. Every consumer is statutorily obliged to dispose of batteries at a collection site of his community/city district or at a retail store.
This obligation is intended to ensure that batteries are disposed of in an environmentally safe fashion. Only dispose of batteries when they are fully discharged.

Dispose of all packaging materials in an environmentally friendly manner.

Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the case of a warranty claim, please make contact by telephone with our service department. Only in this way can a post-free despatch for your goods be assured.
The warranty covers only claims for material and manufacturing defects, not for wearing parts or for damage to fragile components, e.g. buttons or batteries. This product is for private use only and is not intended for commercial applications. In the event of misuse and improper handling, use of force and interference not carried out by our authorized service branch, the warranty will become void. Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by this warranty.
