How to turn the OPTOMA EX605ST projector on and off?

To turn on, remove the lens cap, connect the power cord, then press the Power button on the panel or remote control. The power LED flashes green and then becomes steady green. To turn off, press Power once and confirm by pressing again. The fan cools for about 10 seconds, then the projector goes into standby (orange LED). Unplug the cord after cooling.

What to do if no image appears on the screen?

Check that all cables are properly connected and the projector is on. Make sure the lens cap is removed. If the message No Signal appears, press the Source button to select the correct input. Check that the lamp is installed correctly. If the problem persists, refer to the Troubleshooting section of the manual.

How to adjust keystone correction?

Use the Keystone +/– buttons on the remote control or the Keystone □/□ buttons on the control panel. Adjust until the edges of the image are vertical. The vertical keystone correction is ±18 degrees. Avoid using this function if possible to preserve image quality.

How to replace the projector lamp?

Turn off the projector and let it cool for at least 30 minutes. Unplug the power cord. Using a screwdriver, remove the two screws of the lamp cover, then push and remove the cover. Remove the two screws of the lamp module, then pull the handle to extract the module. Insert the new module (type SHP 180W DC) and tighten the screws. Replace the cover. Turn on the projector and perform Lamp Reset in the Options menu > Lamp Settings.

How to use the remote control laser pointer?

Point the remote control at the screen and hold down the Laser button. A red dot appears. Never point the laser at eyes. The remote control is Class II, use with caution.

How to lock the projector keypad?

Go to the Options menu > Keypad Lock and select On. The control panel will be disabled, but the remote control remains functional. To unlock, use the remote control or press and hold the Enter button on the panel for 7 seconds.

What display modes are available?

The projector offers several presets: Presentation (for PC), Bright (maximum brightness), Film (home cinema), RGB (accurate colors), and User (custom settings). You can select them in the Image menu > Display Mode.

How to reset the projector settings?

In the Options menu, select Reset and choose Yes. This will restore factory default values for all display settings, except the lamp counter.

What does the red temperature (TEMP) indicator mean?

If the TEMP indicator lights up steady red, the projector has overheated and will automatically shut down. Check that the ventilation openings are not blocked and that the ambient temperature is between 5 and 35°C. If the indicator blinks red, the fan is faulty; contact a technician.

How to reset the lamp counter after replacement?

Go to the Options menu > Lamp Settings > Lamp Reset. Select Yes to reset the lamp hour count. This operation must be done after each lamp replacement to ensure accurate tracking.
