For your connued safety and to reduce the risk of injury or electric shock, please follow all the safety precautions listed below.

• Read all instrucons carefully before using the unit and keep them for future reference.
• Retain the manual. If you pass the unit onto a third party, make sure to include this manual.
  ● This appliance is intended for indoor household use and similar applicaons such as by guests in a hotel.
• Ensure that the plug is easily accessible to enable disconnecon from the mains supply.
• If the mains cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or a qualified technician in order to avoid a hazard.
• Choose a locaon for your unit away from heat sources such as radiators or res as refrigerant and vesicant are burnable.
• The unit must be maneuvered by a minimum of 2 persons.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instrucon concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

● Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the unit.
- If your unit is ed with a lock to prevent children being trapped inside, keep the key out of reach and not in the vicinity of the unit.
- Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a ammable propellant in this appliance.
- Do not store boles or glass containers in the freezer compartment. Contents can expand when frozen (zzy drinks) which may break the bole and damage your freezer compartment. (If applicable)
- Keep venlaon openings in the unit enclosure or in the built-in structure clear of obstrucons.
- Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosng process, other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
- Do not use electrical appliances inside the food storage compartments of the unit, unless they are of the type recommended by the manufacturer.
- Do not damage the refrigerant circuit (The refrigerant is a very environmental-friendly gas but is also combustible. Take care when environmental-friendly gas but is also combustible. This appliance must be only used for its intended purpose.

INSTALLATION

Sighng of the appliance

Place the fridge in a locaon with a rm base. In order to prevent vibraon and noise, the freezer must be leveled by adjusng the front feet.

Choose a well venlated locaon with no less than 10cm clearance around the freezer.

Site the freezer away from direct sunlight and heat sources such as an oven or boiler.

For your safety, please read the following informaon:

Warning: This appliance must be earthed.

DANGER or WARNING:

1. Risk of child entrapment. Before you throw away your old refrigerator or freezer:

-Take o doors.

-Leave the shelves in place so that children may not easily climb inside."

1. Do not use extension cords.

USE OF THE APPLIANCE

Before plugging in your freezer for the rst me remove all packing, clean the freezer with the lukewarm water and bicarbonate of soda. Wipe dry with so cloth.

Temperature Control

The temperature in the freezer is controlled by the thermostat control knob inside the freezer. Turn the thermostat control knob up or down to regulate the temperature inside the freezer. The markings on control knob indicated the “MIN, NOR, MAX and OFF” for the dierent temperature grades. The temperature decreases with posion MIN being the warmest and posion MAX being the coldest.

Set the control to posion NOR for normal use, but you may set the control to other posions of you nd NOR is too cold or too warm.

Store Frozen Food

When using the freezer for the rst me or aer defrosng, turn the temperature control to set MAX for at least two hours before introducing the food to be stored.

All frozen food products you purchase should be placed in the freezer as soon as possible to avoid the frozen food from defrosng.

Storage recommendaon printed on the packaging of frozen food by the manufacturers should be always be followed.

Freezing Fresh Food

Ensure that your freezing operaons are carried out under the most hygienic condions as freezing alone does not sterilize the food. It is advisable to freeze the food by packing it into separate meal porons and not in bulk form. Never put hot or even warm foodstus into the freezer. Prior to storing the frozen food, pack it in plasc bags, aluminum sheets or freezing containers and place into the freezer. See the data sheet at the rear of this booklet for the maximum permissible amount in kilograms of fresh food that can be frozen in any 24 hour period with a room temperature of 25^ C. Never freeze more than the maximum permissible.

Defrosng

Remove the mains plug from the wall socket, open the door and remove all the food to a cool place. Defrost using a plasc scraper, or let the temperature rise naturally until the frost melts. Then wipe away the remaining ice and water, aer this plug the freezer back into the mains supply.

Cleaning your freezer

Before you start to clean your freezer remove the mains plug from the power supply.

Use lukewarm water and bicarbonate of soda.

Clean with a cloth soaked in this soluon and then dry with a so cloth.

Before calling for service please check the following points:

• The freezer is not working
• Check the plug is inserted correctly into the wall socket
• Check there is power to the wall socket by plugging in another appliance.

The freezer is noisy when running

- Check the freezer is level and it is not in contact with another appliance or kitchen furniture.

The freezer does not cool suciently

• If the door has been opened too oen, or it has been le open for a while it will take me for the freezer to reach its set temperature.
• Check the airrow the rear of the freezer has not been reduced due to insucient clearance.

The following characteriscs should not be looked upon as a problem.

• A gentle tricking sound caused by coolant owing the pipe.
• Compressor operang at high temperature.

PROLONGED OFF PERIODS.

If the freezer is not in use for a long period of me, proceed as follows:

Disconnect the freezer from the main supply by removing the plug from the wall socket.

Clean and dry the inside as instructed under the heading of cleaning the fridge.

Leave the door open to prevent any unpleasant smells from building up while the freezer is not in use.

For household refrigerang appliances

Try not to open the door too oen, especially when the weather is wet and hot. Once you open the door, mind to close it as soon as possible.

Every now and then check if the appliance is suciently venlated (adequate air circulaon behind the appliance).

For household refrigerang appliances, in normal temperature condions, please arrange the thermostat at the middle seng.

Before loading the appliance with packages of fresh foods, make sure they are cooled to ambient temperature.

Ice and frost layer increase energy consumption, so do clean the appliance as soon as the layer is 3-5 mm thick. If it is the outer condenser, the rear wall should be always clean free of dust or any impurities.
