Thank you for choosing Raya.
The Raya SR-OCFF Speed Ring is designed exclusively to mount the Raya OC-OSB80 32" or Impact FF-OSB60 24" Octa Softboxes to the Raya SDR-400 Alpha Monolight. It offers easy setup and takedown with quick attachment to your SDR-400's S-Mount, so you can create soft, diffuse lighting on location or in the studio.

INSTRUCTIONS
MOUNTING YOUR OCTA SOFTBOX TO THE SPEED RING

Make sure the speed ring's rod sockets are on the same side as the pebbled, reflective interior of your soltbox and are aligned with your softbox's rod pockets.

- Fit the silver-tipped end of the flex rod into the corresponding rod pocket of your softbox. You may need to bend the flex rod to do this.

Insert the next rod into the rod socket on the opposite side of the speed ring, and then fit it into your softbox's rod pocket.

Attach the next two flex rods at a 90° angle from where the first two rods were inserted.

Attach the remaining flex rods according to the instructions above, making sure to insert one rod and then the next on the opposite side of the speed ring.

Once all the flex rods are in place, the fabric of your softbox should be stretched taut, and your softbox should retain its shape.
MOUNTING THE SPEED RING ASSEMBLY
Before mounting the speed ring assembly to your Raya SDR-400 Alpha Monolight, make sure that your monolight is turned off and unplugged from its power source and that it's securely mounted to a light stand.
To mount the speed ring assembly, follow these steps:

- Insert the speed ring into the S-mount and carefully rotate the assembly clockwise until it locks into place.
- Attach your softbox's diffuser(s) according to the instructions in your softbox's user manual.
BREAKING DOWN THE SPEED RING ASSEMBLY
Dismande the speed ring assembly by following the mounting instructions above in reverse order. As with the mounting process, make sure that your monelight is turned off and unplugged from its power source before you start.
To break down the assembly, follow these steps:

Remove the assembly from your monolight by pulling your monolight's mount release and carefully rotating the assembly counterclockwise.

Remove the flex rods from the softbox in pairs, in the same manner that
you installed them: start with two rods on opposite sides of the speed ring, then the next two at a 90° angle to the first pair, and so on until all the rods are removed.
- Remove the speed ring from the center hole of your softbox.

This RAYA product is warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defect in materials and workshop under normal consumer use for a period of one (1) year from the original purchase date or expiry (35) days after replacement, whichever occurs later. The warranty provider's responsibility with respect to this limited warranty shall be limited solely to repair or replacement, at the provider's discretion of any product that fails during normal use of the product in its intended manner and in its intended environment, imperability of the product or point(s) shall be determined by the warranty provider. If the product has been discontinued, the warranty provider reserves the right to replace it with a model of equivalent quality and function. This warranty does not cover damage or defect caused by misuse, neglect accident, alteration, abuse, improper installation or maintenance EXCEPT AS PROVIDED HEREIN. THE WARRANTY PROVIDER MAKES NEITHER ANY EXPRESS WARRANTIES NOR ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. This warranty provides you with specific legal rights, and you may also have additional rights that vary from state to state. To obtain warranty coverage, contact the Roys Customer Service Department to obtain a return merchandise authorization ("RMA") number and return the defective product to Roys along with the RMA number and proof of purchase. Shipment of the defective product is at the purchaser's own risk and expense.
