- In incorrect operation and usage, the appliance may malfunction and the users may get hurt.
- The appliance is designed only to be used at home.
- When not used, unplug the appliance.
- Protect the base unit against humidity and splashing water.
- Do not submerge the appliance's cord or plug in water or any other liquid. If it falls into water, unplug the appliance immediately and have the appliance checked by an expert before using.
- Do not use the appliance if there is any damage on its cord or plug. If the device falls to the ground, have the appliance checked by an expert and have the required repairs made.
- Do not have the cable suspend from sharp edges and keep away from hot surfaces.
- When unplugging, hold only the plug, do not pull the cord.
- Place the appliance away from hot objects (ex. ovens) or open flames, on a level surface, do not place the appliance under drapes or low kitchen cupboards.
- Do not leave the appliance unattended when operating.
- This device shall not be used by individuals with limited physical, cognitive and mental capabilities (including children) and without supervision of the individuals who are responsible for their safety or individuals who are inexperienced or not knowledgeable of the appliance without receiving proper information regarding the usage of the appliance. The children should be supervised to avoid them from playing with the appliance.
- Use the kettle only with the supplied base unit and do not use the base unit for other purposes.
- Never disconnect the kettle from the base unit during operation. Switch the appliance off first.
- Before operating the appliance, ensure that its lid is closed. Otherwise, the appliance will not switch off automatically and hot liquid inside may overflow.
- The kettle is only suitable for heating water. Do not use to heat soups or other liquids.
BEFORE FIRST USE
- Remove all packaging materials from the kettle.
- Before plugging in your kettle, ensure that the mains voltage and the specified voltage of the appliance indicated on the label is matching.
- Fill up your kettle to the "MAX" point with water and boil the water. Remove the water from the heater. Now the appliance is ready to use.
* This appliance should not be used by physically, sensually or mentally handicapped ones (including children) without supervision or order of someone who can undertake the responsibility and protection for safety.
* The children should be supervised to avoid them from playing with the appliance.
* This appliance is for use in home and similar environments:
- in personnel kitchen areas in shops, offices or other working areas;
- in farm houses;
- by customers in hotels, motels or other accommodation units;
- in places supplying rooms and breakfast service.
* Save these instructions.
* This appliance can be used by physically, sensually or mentally handicapped ones as well as by children under 8 years old only provided that they are supervised or ordered by someone who can undertake the responsibility and protection for safety. Children should not tamper with the appliance. In case they are not older than 8 years old or unsupervised, children should not clean or maintain the kettle.
* Keep the appliance and its cable from the reach of children aged <8.
* The device is designed for operating with a separate control system or external timer.
* If the power cord is damaged, the product shall be repaired by product's own service officer or a person with similar qualifications to avoid hazards.

- Open the cover.
- Insert the filter into the pouring end and push it until it locks.
- Press the filter down to the end of the channel and close the cover once you are sure it is placed.
Never leave the filter in the kettle until it is in place. Never remove the filter when there is hot water in the kettle.
WATER FILLING
- Separate the kettle from the base unit.
- You can fill the kettle with water through pouring end or by opening the cover.
- In order to prevent your kettle to operate dehydrated, it is not recommended to be operated with less than 1 litre.
- Do not fill your kettle with water exceeding the maximum level. If it is overfilled, the water may overflow during boiling.
OPERATION
- After filling with water, place the kettle on the base unit.
- Plug in the appliance and press the On/Off switch. Appliance will begin to operate, and the indicator light will come on.
TURNING OFF
When the water is at boiling point, the kettle will switch off automatically and the indicator light will go off.
NOTE: this device includes a safety system, if the device is operated accidentally without any water in it or if the water boils out, the heating element will be turned off. In this case, before filling in water again, allow the appliance to cool off completely.
RE-OPERATING
After the appliance is turned off automatically, wait for it to cool off for 15 to 20 seconds and operate it again.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
- Always unplug the appliance and wait for it to cool down.
- Clean the outer surface and the base unit of the kettle with a soft damp cloth. Then clean with a dry cloth. To not use scraping sponge.
- Descale regularly. Use a descaler that you may obtain from an expert shop and follow the instructions that comes with the product.
CLEANING THE FILTER
- Remove the filter from the kettle.
- Clean by gently scrubbing under the tap.
- Place the filter between the two channels next to the pouring end on the front side of kettle.

Wrap the electrical cable in the cable storage slot of the base unit.
