Read these operating instructions carefully before using the appliance for your safety and others'. Keep this manual in a safe place for future use. If you pass the appliance on, pass on the manual too. Remove all the packages; however, keep them until you are sure that the device is working.

Intended Use
Product model is designed for household use. It is not suitable for business or industrial use. In case of any failure arising from otherwise use, our authorized services will provide out of warranty service.
Unauthorized Use
In cases of unauthorized use specified below, the appliance may be damaged or cause injuries;
This appliance shall not be used by individuals (including children) who have limited physical, cognitive or mental capacity or insufficient experience and/or information unless they are instructed in the ways to use the appliance by their legal guardian and being supervised. The children should be supervised to avoid them from playing with the appliance.
This appliance can be operated by children of 8 years and above, people with limited physical, auditory and cognitive skills or people with lack of experience and knowledge as long as they are under supervision or they are provided instructions regarding the operation of the appliance.
Keep small items of packaging and plastic bags away from children. There is a risk of choke!
In case they are not older than 8 years old or unsupervised, children should not clean or maintain the appliance.
Keep the appliance and its cable from the reach of children aged <8.
The children should be supervised to avoid them from playing with the appliance. The electrical appliances are not toys for children!
Therefore keep the appliance away from the children. The children may not be aware of the dangers related to the utilization of the appliance. Do not let the power cord dangle from the appliance.
Unpacking
Unpack the appliance and before starting to use it check for damages and malfunctions. If there is any malfunction or damage to the equipment, do not use the appliance and get in contact with Fakir Authorized Service.

Repair works shall only be undertaken by Fakir authorized service. Repairs that are inadequate or carried out by unauthorized personnel may pose harm to the user.

Safety Warnings;
When utilizing an electrical appliance, the precautions below shall always be taken in order to prevent fire, shock or personal injuries,
- This appliance shall only be used within its own utilization field as specified in the user's manual.
- Using electrical appliances may be dangerous, so please read the user's manual before using the appliance.
- Before plugging the appliance, into the power outlet ensure that the voltage matches the rated value specified in the rating label.
- Use the appliance always on a dry, non-slip and flat surface.
- Never submerse the base unit of your appliance or the water heater. In this case, your appliance must be controlled by the
authorized Fakir Service.
- In an event where the appliance or the cord is damaged, do not use the appliance and contact a Fakir authorized service.
- Always unplug the appliance, from the power outlet before cleaning it.
- Do not pull from the cord, use the plug to unplug the appliance.
- Do not try tor remove an object of the appliance or try to place a metal object in the appliance.
- In order to prevent any damage that may occur on the appliance cable, do not use the appliances on places with sharp corners.
- Do not ever use your appliances outside. Do not expose the appliance to moisture or rain and do not operate with wet hands.
- Your appliance will get hot when used, therefore only touch the handle.
- Never touch the appliance during boiling.
- Use the handle to hold your appliance.
- Fill the water up till the MAX. level of your appliance. Otherwise, there is a danger that the water may overflow.
- Never operate your appliance when its lid is open.
- Never put any liquid other than water into your appliance.
- Repair works shall only be undertaken by Authorized Fakir service. Repairs that are inadequate or carried out by unauthorized personnel may pose harm to the user.
- Do not punch a hole or a tear on the section where the on/off button is.
- Descale your appliance regularly.
- Your electric water heater can only work with the heater base.
- Unplug the power cord when you don't use the appliance.

Use of The Appliance

NOTE!
Please read the user manual carefully before you use your appliance.

NOTE!
Before using the appliance for first time, boil and pour some water a few times. Then, your appliance is ready for use.
- Unwind the wrapped wire completely from the heating base.
- Remove all packaging materials and labels from the appliance.
- Place the appliance on a flat, solid surface.
- Press with your finger on the lid of the appliance and it will open automatically.
- Pour the water into the water heater at the desired amount.
- The amount of water you have put in the appliance will be seen with a water level indicator. Note that the water you filled the appliance is always more than the MIN level and less than the MAX level, and make sure that the lid is fully closed.
- Do not touch any part of the appliance except the handle when the appliance is in
operation and make sure that the lid of the appliance is properly closed.
- The heater base is located just under the water heater body. Make sure the heater base is properly placed in the water heater body.
- Plug in the appliance.
- Press the On / Off button and the indicator light will turn to blue. Water inside the appliance will start heating.
- When the water in the appliance boils, the light will turn off automatically when the on/off button is turned off. The on/off button may be used to stop the water heating of the appliance in each cycle of water heating.
- You can transfer the hot water to any other container of your choice.
- The appliance has a safety protection circuit against waterless operation. In the event of waterless operation, the appliance will automatically turn off the heating elements. In such a case, unplug the appliance from the outlet. After allowing the water heater for 15-20 seconds, you can refill it with water.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Before cleaning the appliance, make sure that it is unplugged and the appliance is cooled down completely.
- Do not use hard or abrasive detergents to clean the appliance.
- Do not immerse the heater body, plug, cord or heater base ever in water. Do not wash in a dishwasher.
- Clean outside of your appliance only with a soft cloth.
- You can wash the inside of your appliance with water.
- We recommend that the appliance is cleaned regularly.
Descaling
- If the appliance turns off automatically before reaching the boiling point, it is a sign that it should be descaled.
- Add 1/3 vinegar and 2/3 water mixture into the appliance. Pour after boiling 2 or 3 times.
- If there is any possibility that the descale cleaning agent in the water will bubble, fill the appliance with water less than the MAX. water level.
- After performing the descaling process, boil the appliance 1-2 times with clean water and rinse.
Storage
If the appliance will not be used for an extended period of time, pack the appliance. After packing, place it at a dry and well ventilated place.

Recycling
Dispose of the device according to the environmental regulations applicable in your country.

Electrical waste must not be disposed of together with household waste. Dispose the device to the waste baskets designated for electrical waste. The packaging of the appliance consists of recycling-capable materials.
Throw out them in suitable recycling bins.
