CAUTION: Metra recommends disconnecting the negative battery terminal before beginning any installation. All accessories, switches, and especially air bag indicator lights must be plugged in beforereconnecting the battery or cycling the ignition.
NOTE: Refer to the instructions included with the aftermarket radio.

Dash Disassembly
- Unclip and remove A/C control panel. (Figure A)
- Remove (4) 10 mm bolts securing radio. (Figure B)
- Unclip and remove entire panel including hazard switch and clock. (Figure C)

- Remove the left and right radio brackets from the radio chassis. (Figure D)
- Unclip and remove the clock/hazard switch assembly from the factory radio housing trim panel. (Figure E)

Kit Preparation Kit Assembly
- Attach the clock/hazard switch bracket to the radio housing using the (6) #4 x 3/8" Phillips pan head screws. (Figure A)
WARNING: DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN SCREWS.
- Clip the clock/hazard switch assembly into the 95-8235CHG radio housing trim panel. (Figure B)
- Install the three included panel clips to the back of the radio housing trim panel (factory clips can also be used if desired).

ISO DIN head unit provision with pocket
- Mount the pocket to the radio brackets with the (4) #8 x 3/8" Phillips screws supplied. (Figure A)
- Slide the radio into the bracket/pocket assembly and secure with screws supplied with the radio. (Figure B)
- Secure the radio/pocket assembly into the sub dash using the factory hardware.
- Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter from Metra or AXXESS. Re-connect the negative battery terminal and test the unit for proper operation.
- Reassemble dash in reverse order of disassembly using the 99-8235CHG radio trim panel instead of the factory panel.
