TOOLS REQUIRED
- Panel removal tool • Phillips screwdriver
- Socket wrench
Attention! With the key out of the ignition, disconnect the negative battery terminal before installing this product. Ensure that all installation connections are secure before cycling the ignition to test this product.
DASH DISASSEMBLY
- Using a panel removal tool, gently pry the upper trim/vent housing panel from the dash. Remove the factory clip from back of trim/vent housing panel and install in same location on radio trim panel of 99-3011S. (Figure A)
- Using a panel removal tool, gently pry the shifter surround panel. On manual transmission vehicles, unclip and reposition the shifter boot. Disconnect indicator plug. (Figure B)
- Remove (2) 9/32" screws from the storage pocket. Remove storage pocket. (Figure C)

- Remove (4) 9/32" screws from the accessory control panel. Gently pry the edges of the panel to release the clips. Disconnect the accessory control panel plugs. (Figure D)
- Remove (2) 9/32" screws from the radio control panel. Disconnect the radio control panel. (Figure E)
- Remove (4) 9/32" screws from the radio chassis. Disconnect the radio chassis. (Figure F)

ISO DIN radio provision with pocket
- Remove the metal "DIN" sleeve and plastic trim ring from the aftermarket radio.
- Secure the pocket to the radio brackets using the supplied (4) screws. (Figure A)
- Secure the radio to the radio brackets with screws supplied with the radio. (Figure A)
- Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter from Metra or AXXESS. Re-connect the negative battery terminal and test the unit for proper operation.
- Remove the factory vents and then snap them onto the radio trim panel. (Figure B)
- Reassemble the dash in reverse order of disassembly.

Double DIN radio provision
- Mount the radio to the radio brackets with screws supplied with the radio. (Figure A)
- Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter from Metra or AXXESS. Re-connect the negative battery terminal and test the unit for proper operation.
- Remove the factory vents and then snap them onto the radio trim panel. (Figure B)
- Reassemble the dash in reverse order of disassembly.
