General safety instructions
Before using the appliance ensure that the main voltage corresponds to the voltage displayed on the rating label. Always plug the appliance into a suitable electrical outlet.
In order to avoid electrical shock risk, please do not inmerse the power cord nor the appliance into water or any other kind of liquid. Check the cleaning instructions.
Do not use unauthorized accessories. This will result in cancellation of the guarantee and could cause accidents.
Do not keep the power cording hanging from the table or the shelf. Keep it away from hot sources. Do not allow sharp or blunt objects to touch it. Do not operate the appliance if the power cord or the plug are damaged, or if you notice unusual operation of the appliance.
Do not leave the appliance operating without supervision. Always switch off the appliance and unplug it. Pull the plug, not the power cord.
If any repair is needed, or if the power cord must be replaced, please ask a aqualified professional or contact the Official Technical Support.

To install the accessories properly, ensure the appliance is unplugged from the electrical outlet and the speed switch is set on the OFF position (0). Insert the accessories in the appliance. Check they are secured in their correct place.
NOTE: For safety reasons, the appliance works only when the accessories are properly installed.
To remove the accessories from the appliance, ensure the speed switch is set to (0) and the appliance is unplugged. Raise the mixer upwards and hold the shaft while pressing the ejection button.
Operation
Operate the mixer by moving the "5" speed control switch to the appropriate mixing speed. As you push the switch button backward, the speeds are indicated by markings adjacent to the body.
emember as you increase the speed you automatically increase the power. As the mixture become heavier, increase the power by turning to a higher speed. If the machine starts to labor on a low speed turn to a higher speed.
CAUTION: Do not use your fingers or any kitchen tool to touch or move the mixture while the appliance is operating.
If you wish to mix large quantities and heavier mixes it is recommended that the mixer be removed from the stand and used hand held in a suitably sized container.
After each use, set the speed switch to the OFF position and unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet.
CAUTION: The appliance should not be used continuously for longer than 3 minutes. Allow it to cool down completely for at least 10 minutes to avoid overheating.
SPEED CONTROL
The appliance has 5 speed levels. Always start with the lowest speed, then increase the speed progressively as the recipe requires.
- 1 (SLOW): flour and dry ingredients, liquids for shakes and dough for cookies, nuts, oatmeal and chocolate.
- 2 (SLOW-MEDIUM): soft dough for muffins, waffles, pancakes or bread, sauces and desserts.
• 3 (MEDIUM): butter with suggar, eggs, dough for pastries and ice cream.
• 4 (MEDIUM-HIGH): boiled eggs or frozen desserts. - 5 (HIGH): creams, egg-white, mashed potatoes and other vegetables.
TURBO: short boost of speed. Do not use for longer than 3 minutes.
MAXIMUM AND MINIMUM QUANTITIES
These quantities are given as a guide only and may have to be adjusted when carrying out your own particular recipes.

Cleaning and maintenance
Before handling the appliance, make sure it is unplugged from the electrical outlet. Allow the appliance to cool down completely before cleaning it.
Clean the accessories with some soapy water. It is recommended to rinse the accessories immediately after mixing salty ingredients.
Clean the appliance's body with a slightly moistened cloth, then use a dry cloth to wipe the surface properly.
Do not use aggressive cleaners. Do not use water to clean the appliance. NEVER immer-se the appliance in water.
Clean the appliance periodically. Avoid food scraps to get accumulated in the appliance.

CAUTION: NEVER attempt to put the appliance in the dishwasher.
