If you require technical support or in the unlikely event that your purchase is faulty please telephone our Helpline for immediate assistance. Faulty product claims made within the 3 year warranty period will be repaired or replaced free of charge provided that you have satisfactory proof of purchase (keep your till receipt safe!). This does not affect your statutory rights. However, be aware that the warranty will become null and void if the product is found to have been deliberately damaged, misused or disassembled.

Safety Instructions

• DO NOT operate the Pathfinder Star Lights in the packaging!
  • DO NOT connect the Pathfinder Star Lights electrically with other light sticks or chains!
• The Pathfinder Star Lights are suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
• The Pathfinder Star Lights should be connected only to the supplied adapter.
  This is done by plugging the power cord into the adapter and subsequently screwing the lock bush cap securely into place.
• DO NOT use the Pathfinder Star Lights if the power cord or the adapter are damaged!
• Keep product away from children!
• Keep product away from fl ammable objects.
• If the lights are used outdoors, the adapter unit must remain indoors.
• DO NOT use with the cable in a wound state. Fully unwind before use.
• Please make sure that the mains voltage matches the input voltage of the transformer.
• Please check the cable and the transformer regarding any damage before you use the light chain. If damage is present DO NOT use the product.

Defective light bulbs

Please note that defective bulbs can not be replaced. LED bulbs have an life expectancy of up to 50,000 hours if handled properly.

Installation instructions

• Simply put the Pathfinder Star Lights into the garden ground or into flower pots.
• DO NOT use the PathfinderStar Lights if the power cord or the adapter are damaged!
• Care must be taken to ensure the cables do not pose a trip hazard.
  • These Pathfinder Star Lights are suitable for use both indoors and out.

If used outdoors the mains power plug must be connected to an internal power socket, or connected to an outside socket safeguarded by an additional RCD (value 13 A).

Please note the information stated on the housing of the circuit breaker!

- If you do not have a proper outdoor socket, always plug the power cord indoors while the lights are operated outdoors. In this case the power cord is to be laid in the area of elastic rubber seals of windows and doors in order to avoid damages by any sharp edges. If you are not sure about your outdoor socket, always plug the power cord indoors.

- If an extension cable is used it must be a fully enclosed weatherproof specification that aff ords full plug protection.

Standard extension cables are not suitable for this purpose.

Cleaning and storage

ATTENTION!

Always disconnect the power plug before cleaning!

Clean the Pathfinder Star Lights with a damp cloth and a mild washing-up liquid.

Let the Pathfinder Star Lights dry carefully.

The original packaging is the most suitable for storage.

Disposal

Dispose of the packaging in an unmixed manner and according to your local waste disposal regulations.

Give carton and paper to the recovered paper collection, foils belong in the recycling collection.

If the appliance has become obsolete, please dispose of it properly at a collection centre for electrical and electronic appliances.

Old electrical appliances do not belong in household waste.
