Frequently Asked Questions - CUF3TS Creda

How do I adjust the thermostat on my Creda CUF3TS heater?
Turn the thermostat dial clockwise to increase the desired temperature. The heater will automatically cycle on and off to maintain the set temperature. For continuous heating, set the dial to the maximum position.
Can I use the heater in a bathroom?
The Creda CUF3TS is not designed for bathroom use unless installed in a suitable location with proper protection (e.g., outside zones 0, 1, 2). It is recommended to keep the heater away from water sources.
Why does my heater turn off after a few minutes?
This may be due to the overheat protection or tip-over safety switch. Ensure the heater is placed on a flat, stable surface and that the air intakes are not blocked. If it still turns off, let it cool down and try again.
How do I clean the filter?
Unplug the heater. Remove the rear grille (usually held by clips or screws). Take out the washable filter and rinse it under running water. Let it dry completely before reassembling. Reinstall the filter and grille.
Is the heater's surface hot to the touch?
The Creda CUF3TS features a cool-touch housing, but some heat may be felt on the front grille during operation. Always allow the heater to cool before touching the front part.
What is the maximum power consumption?
The maximum power consumption is 2000 watts at the highest heat setting. On the low setting, it consumes approximately 1000 watts.
Can I leave the heater unattended overnight?
It is not recommended to leave any heater unattended for long periods. While the CUF3TS has safety features like tip-over shut-off, always turn it off when you leave the room or go to sleep.
How do I switch between fan-only and heat modes?
Use the function switch: set it to the fan icon for cool air circulation, to one dot for low heat (1000W), or to two dots for high heat (2000W).
What should I do if the heater makes unusual noises?
Unusual noises may indicate a loose part or debris in the fan. Unplug the heater and inspect the fan blades and housing for obstructions. If the noise persists, contact Creda customer service.
Where can I find spare parts for my Creda CUF3TS?
Spare parts such as filters, feet, and knobs can be ordered from authorized Creda service centers. Refer to the Warranty section of your manual or visit the Creda website for a list of service partners.

Position 'will turn the heater on and off to maintain a temperature of approximately 5°C.
